Type 613.01 - Hood Dryer with Ions-Generator
Please read these operating instructions carefully as they include valuable advice on safety and how
to use the equipment. Look after these operating instructions carefully

WARNINGS
• Important: In order to guarantee additional protection, it is
recommended that a differential breaker with an intervention
current not greater than 30 mA is installed in the electrical
system which feeds the device. For further information,
contact a qualified electrician.
• Make sure the unit is perfectly dry before using it.
• WARNING: Do not use this appliance near bathtubs,
showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
• This appliance can be used by children from 8 years of age
and over, and by persons with limited physical, sensory or
mental abilities or who lack the relevant experience and
knowledge, if they are suitably supervised or have been
educated to use the appliance safely and made aware of the
associated risks.
• Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
• Children must not perform cleaning and maintenance
procedures unless supervised
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or a similarly qualified person
in order to avoid a hazard.
• When the appliance is used in a bathroom, unplug it after
use since the proximity of water presents a hazard even
when the appliance is switched off.

•Only connect this unit to alternating current and check that the mains supply voltage corresponds to that
indicated on the unit.
•Never immerse this unit in water or other liquids.
•Do not put this unit down where it could fall into water or other liquids.
•Do not try to pull any electrical appliance out when it has fallen into water – disconnect the plug from the
power socket immediately.
•Always switch off the unit before putting it down.
•After use always switch the unit off and remove the plug from the power supply socket. Do not pull on the
wire to remove the plug from the power supply socket.
•Do not pull the plug out of the power supply socket when your hands are wet.
•When using the appliance make sure the air intake and exhaust grilles are never obstructed. This unit is fitted
with a device to guard against overheating that switches it off immediately when the temperature gets too
high. Should this happen, move the switch to the 0 position and leave it to cool for 5 minutes.
•Always allow the unit to cool before putting it away and never wrap the cord around the unit.
•Check that the cord has not been damaged from time to time.
•Do not use your unit if it is not working properly, if it has fallen or if the cord is damaged. Do not try to repair
this electrical unit yourself, rather contact an authorized technician.
•The elements used to pack the unit (plastic bags, cardboard box, etc.) must be kept out of reach of children
as they are a potential danger to them.
•This unit must only be used for the purposes for which it is expressly intended. Any other use is to be
considered improper and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for damage caused
by improper or erroneous use.
•Do not use hair spray while the unit is running.
•To avoid dangerous overheating, it is advisable to unwind the entire length of the cord.
•Warning - The metal parts overheat if used for too long. Be careful and allow these parts to cool before
touching them.
•Do not remove the appliance from the head while switched on: always set the switch to 0 first.
Important
This hairdryer conforms to the safety regulations regarding electrical appliances.
This hairdryer has a safety cut-out which will operate in case of overheating. The dryer will re-set itself
after being left to cool for a few minutes, but please check air inlet and outlet grills are clear before
continuing to use the dryer.
USE
Position of switch
0 = OFF
C = COOL / warm air
1 = hot air / slow speed
2 = very hot air / fast speed
“ION” FUNCTION
The “ION” function on this product is always on. It produces a flow of negative ions that promotes healthy hair,
has a restorative effect and makes your hair softer and more manageable, with greater volume and sheen.
The negative ions help reduce static electricity and fly-away hair and combat frizziness.
OPERATING TIPS
1. Wash your hair and towel-dry it before using the appliance.
2. Put your hair in rollers in the usual way each time before using the appliance.
3. Put the plug of the appliance into a mains socket.
4. Simply suspend the appliance from the carrying belt (with the 4-position switch and the power cord on
the Ieft).
5. Put the hood on your head. The small air outlet openings in the hood should face the inside.
6. Connect the hood by fitting the elastic hose on the upper side of the blower.
7. Adjust the hood by means of the continuously variable carrying belt so that it hovers freely above your hair
and is not pulled downwards by the weight of the blower.
8. To dry your hair, simply push the switch to position 1 or 2. To make curls hold better, set the switch to
position “C” (Cool) after drying is complete.

9. Once drying is complete, turn the switch on the appliance to the “0” (OFF) position.
10. Finally, remove the hood from your head.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always remove the plug from the power socket before beginning to clean the unit! This unit can be cleaned
using a damp cloth, but it must never be immersed in water or any other liquid!
Protect your unit from dust. If necessary, clean the air intake grilles gently with a brush. Remove and clean the
accessories used.
This appliance conforms to European Directives 2004/108/EC, 2009/125/EC, 2006/95/EC
and Regulation (EC) No. 1275/2008.
GUARANTEE
VALERA guarantees the appliance you have bought at following conditions:
1. The guarantee conditions for this appliance are as defined by our dealer in the country of sale. In Switzerland
and in the countries subject to the European directive 44/99/CE the guarantee period is 24 months for
domestic use and 12 months for professional or similar use. The guarantee period starts from the date of
purchase as stated on the present guarantee card regularly filled out and stamped by the dealer or on the
sale’s invoice.
2. The guarantee is applicable only against submission of the present guarantee card or the sale’s invoice.
3. The guarantee covers the elimination of all defects arisen during the guarantee period resulting from proven
faults in material or workmanship. The elimination of the defects will be made either by repairing the appliance
or exchanging it. The guarantee does not cover any damage arising from incorrect connection to the power
supply, improper use, breakage, normal wear and non-compliance with the Instructions for Use.
4. All other claims of any nature, including those for eventual damages outside of the appliance, are excluded,
unless our liability is legally mandatory.
5. The guarantee service is carried out free of charge; it does not affect the expiry date of the guarantee.
6. The guarantee becomes void if repairs are undertaken by unauthorized persons.
For UK only: this guarantee in no way affects your rights under statutory law.
In case of defect, please return the appliance well packed and together with the guarantee card regularly dated
and stamped to one of our Valera Service Centres or to the dealer who will send it to the official importer for
the guarantee service.

Fehlerstromschutzeinrichtung (RCD) mit einem

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät ausschließlich mit Wechselstrom und prüfen Sie, dass die Versorgungsspannung mit der

• Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
• Legen Sie das Gerät nicht an einem Ort ab, von dem es in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten fallen könnte.
• Versuchen Sie nicht, ein in Wasser gefallenes Gerät wieder herauszunehmen, bevor Sie nicht den Netzstecker
gezogen haben!
• Schalten Sie das Gerät erst aus, bevor Sie es ablegen.
• Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch Ihres Gerätes stets den Netzstecker, wobei Sie nicht an der Geräteschnur ziehen sollten.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nicht mit nassen Händen aus der Steckdose.
• Achten sie während des Gerätebetriebs darauf, dass die Lufteinlass- und Luftaustritt-Schutzgitter nicht verstopft
werden. Das Gerät ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet, welcher es bei gefährlich hohen Temperaturen
sofort abschaltet. Stellen Sie den Schalter auf 0 und lassen Sie das Gerät 5 Minuten abkühlen.
• Lassen Sie das Gerät erst abkühlen, bevor Sie es weglegen und wickeln Sie niemals das Kabel um das Gerät.
Kontrollieren Sie von Zeit zu Zeit, dass das Kabel nicht beschädigt ist.
• Verwenden Sie Ihr Gerät nicht, wenn eine Störung aufgetreten, es gefallen oder das Kabel beschädigt ist. Versuchen
Sie niemals, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren, sondern wenden Sie sich an einen Techniker.

Position 0.
Wichtig
Dieses Gerät entspricht den Sicherheitsvorschriften für Elektrogeräte.
Das Gerät ist mit einem Sicherheitsthermostat ausgestattet und schaltet sich bei Überhitzung automatisch
selbst ab. Nach einer kurzen Betriebspause schaltet sich das Gerät automatisch wieder ein. Dennoch sollten
Sie sich vergewissern, daß die Lufteinlaßsöffnungen völlig frei sind.
GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNG
Stellung des Schalters
0 = aus
C = COOL/mäßig warmer Luftstrom
1 = warmer und schwacher Luftstrom
2 = sehr warmer und starker Luftstrom
FUNKTION “ION”
Die Funktion “ION” des Gerätes ist immer aktiv. Sie erzeugt einen Fluss negativer Ionen, der Ihre Haare pflegt, eine
regenerierende Wirkung hat, Ihr Haar weich macht, so dass es leicht zu kämmen ist, und Ihrer Frisur Fülle und
Glanz verleiht.
Die negativen Ionen tragen dazu bei, die statische Elektrizität zu verringern, widerspenstiges und gekräuseltes Haar
in den Griff zu bekommen.
GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNGEN
1. Vor dem Gebrauch des Gerätes das Haar waschen und abtrocknen.
2. Die Lockenwickler wie üblich ins Haar eindrehen.
3. Den Gerätestecker in die Steckdose stecken.
4. Legen Sie das Gerät mit dem Riemen quer über der Brust an (die Schalter und das Netzkabel müssen dabei auf
der linken Seite liegen).
5. Setzen Sie die Trockenhaube auf und achten Sie darauf, dass die Löcher nach innen weisen.
6. Verbinden Sie die Haube mit dem Gerät; schieben Sie dabei den flexiblen Teil auf den Stutzen des Luftaustritts.
7. Für einen störungsfreien Gerätebetrieb und korrektes Aufblähen des Haars darf die Haube nicht das Gewicht des
Gebläseteils tragen; stellen Sie daher die Länge des Aufhängeriemens dementsprechend ein.

8. Stellen Sie zum Haartrocknen den Schalter auf Position 1 oder 2. Stellen Sie nach dem Trocknen den Schalter
auf Position “ C ” (COOL).
9. Drehen Sie zum Abschalten des Gerätes den Schalter auf Position 0.
10. Nehmen Sie die Haube wieder ab.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen des Geräts immer den Netzstecker!
Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem feuchten Tuch und tauchen Sie es niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten!
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Staub. Reinigen Sie im Bedarfsfall die Luftansaug-Schutzgitter vorsichtig mit einer Bürste
oder einem Pinsel.
Nehmen Sie die Aufsätze ab und reinigen Sie sie.
Dieses Gerät erfüllt die Bestimmungen der europäischen Richtlinien 2004/108/EG, 2009/125/EG,
2006/95/EG und der Verordnung (EG) Nr. 1275/2008.
GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN
VALERA leistet für dieses Gerät - zusätzlich zu der gesetzlichen Gewährleistung des Händlers aus Kaufvertrag - dem
Endabnehmer gegenüber eine Garantie zu nachstehenden Bedingungen:
1. Für dieses Gerät gelten die Garantiebedingungen unseres Händlers im Verkaufsland. In der Schweiz und in den
Ländern, wo die europäische Verordnung 44/99/CE gilt, beträgt die Garantiezeit 24 Monate bei privatem Gebrauch
und 12 Monate bei gewerblichem oder einem solchen gleichzusetzenden Gebrauch. Die Garantiezeit beginnt am
Kauftag des Gerätes, der durch die ausgefüllte Garantiekarte oder einen sonstigen Kaufbeleg nachzuweisen ist.
2. Die Garantie wird nur bei Vorlage der Garantiekarte oder eines Kaufbeleges geleistet.
3. Die Garantieleistung umfasst die Behebung aller innerhalb der Garantiezeit auftretenden Mängel des Gerätes, die
nachweislich auf Material- oder Fertigungsfehlern beruhen. Die Behebung der Mängel kann nach unserer Wahl
durch Instandsetzung oder durch Umtausch des Gerätes erfolgen. Nicht unter Garantie fallen Mängel oder
Schäden, die durch nicht vorschriftsmässigen elektrischen Anschluss, durch unsachgemässe Handhabung sowie
durch Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanleitung entstanden sind.
4. Weitere Ansprüche irgendwelcher Art, insbesondere solche auf Ersatz ausserhalb des Gerätes entstandener
Schäden, sind – soweit die Haftung nicht zwingend gesetzlich angeordnet ist – ausgeschlossen.
5. Die Garantieleistungen werden ohne Berechnung durchgeführt; sie bewirken weder eine Verlängerung noch einen
Neubeginn der Garantiezeit.
6. Diese Garantie erlischt bei Eingriff nicht autorisierter Stellen.
Sollten Sie die Garantie in Anspruch nehmen müssen, dann senden Sie bitte das defekte Gerät gut verpackt an eine
unserer autorisierten Service-Stellen. Vergessen Sie nicht, unbedingt die Garantiekarte und/oder den Kaufbeleg
beizufügen, da ohne diese keine Garantieleistung erfolgen kann.

AVERTISSEMENTS
• Important: pour garantir une protection supplémentaire, il est
conseillé d’installer dans l’installation électrique alimentant
l’appareil un interrupteur différentiel avec un courant
d’intervention ne dépassant pas 30 mA. Contactez votre
électrotechnicien de confiance pour tout renseignement
complémentaire.
• Vérifier que l’appareil soit complètement sec avant de l’utiliser
• ATTENTION : ne pas utiliser cet appareil à proximité de
baignoires, de lavabos ou autres recipients contenant de
l'eau.
• Il est requit un âge minimum de 8 ans pour l’utilisation de cet
appareil. L’utilisation de cet appareil par des personnes aux
capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales réduites est
fortement déconseillée à moins qu’elles soient surveillées ou
qu’elles aient été instruites correctement quant à l’utilisation de
l’appareil de la part de tiers.
• Cet appareil doit être tenu hors de portée des enfants.
• Le nettoyage et l’entretien de l’appareil ne doivent pas être
effectuées par des enfants non surveillés.
• En cas d’utilisation du sèche-cheveux dans une salle d’eau,
toujours le débrancher après l’emploi à cause des risques liés
à la proximité de l’eau, même si l’appareil est éteint.
• N’utilisez pas votre appareil s’il présente une anomalie, s’il est
tombé, ou si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé. Et, ne
tentez pas de réparer un appareil électrique par vous même,
mais confiez-le à un réparateur agréé.

• Reliez l’appareil à une prise de courant alternatif et contrôlez que la tension de réseau correspond à celle indiquée
sur l’appareil.
• Ne plongez jamais l’appareil dans l’eau ou autres liquides.
• Evitez de poser l’appareil en un lieu non à l’abri de l’eau ou d’autres liquides.
• Il est interdit de plonger la main dans l’eau pour récupérer l’appareil électrique. Détachez immédiatement la prise
de courant.
• Eteignez toujours l’appareil avant de le poser.
• Après l’emploi, éteignez toujours l’appareil et débranchez-le. Ne retirez pas la fiche de la prise de courant en tirant
sur le cordon.
• N’enlevez pas la fiche de la prise de courant avec les mains mouillées.
• Utilisez l’appareil de manière à ce que les grilles d’entrée et de sortie de l’air ne soient jamais obstruées. L’appareil
est équipé d’une protection contre la surchauffe qui l’éteint immédiatement en cas de température excessive.
Dans ce cas, placez l’interrupteur sur la position 0 et laissez l’appareil refroidir pendant 5 minutes.
• Laissez toujours l’appareil refroidir avant de le ranger et n’enroulez jamais le cordon autour de l’appareil. Contrôlez
périodiquement que le cordon n’est pas endommagé.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil s’il présente des anomalies, s’il est tombé ou si le cordon est endommagé. N’essayez pas
de réparer vous-mêmes l’appareil électrique ; adressezvous à un technicien agréé.
• Les éléments qui constituent l’emballage de l’appareil (sacs plastique, boîte en carton etc) ne doivent pas être
laissés à portée des enfants car ils représentent une source de danger potentiel.
• Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé que pour l’emploi pour lequel il a été expressément conçu. Tout autre usage est
impropre et donc dangereux. Le fabricant ne peut être considéré comme responsable des éventuels dommages
dérivant d’un usage impropre et erroné.
• N’utilisez pas de laques ou autres produits pour cheveux lorsque l’appareil est en marche.
• Pour éviter toute surchauffe dangereuse, il est recommandé de dérouler entièrement le cordon d’alimentation.
• Attention - Les pièces métalliques surchauffent si on les utilise trop longtemps. Faites donc attention et laissez ces
pièces refroidir avant de les toucher.
• Ne retirez pas l'appareil de votre tête lorsqu'il est encore en marche. Mettez tout d'abord l'interrupteur sur la position "0".

FONCTION "ION"
La fonction "ION" de cet appareil est toujours active. Elle produit un flux d'ions négatifs qui favorise le traitement de
vos cheveux ; elle possède un effet régénérant et les rend plus doux et faciles à peigner, plus volumineux et plus
brillants.
Les ions à charge négative aident à réduire l'électricité statique et l'effet "fly-away" des cheveux (cheveux ébouriffés)
ainsi que les frisures.
MODE D'EMPLOI
1. Avant d'utiliser l'appareil, lavez vos cheveux et séchez-les un peu à l'aide d'une serviette.
2. Mettez vos bigoudis comme d'habitude.
3. Branchez l'appareil.
4. Enfilez l'appareil en mettant la sangle en bandoulière (en maintenant les interrupteurs et le câble d'alimentation
sur la gauche).
5. Enfilez le casque de manière à ce que les petits trous soient tournés vers l'intérieur.
6. Reliez le casque à l'appareil en introduisant la partie élastique dans la bouche de sortie de l'air.

7. Pour un fonctionnement/gonflage correct, le casque ne doit pas supporter le poids de la partie soufflante. Réglez
en conséquence la longueur de la sangle de suspension).
8. Pour sécher vos cheveux, positionnez l'interrupteur sur "1" ou "2". Une fois le séchage terminé, positionnez
l'interrupteur sur “C ” (COOL).
9. Pour éteindre l'appareil, remettez l'interrupteur sur la position "0".
10. Enfin, retirez le casque de votre tête.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Débranchez l’appareil avant de le nettoyer !
Vous pouvez nettoyer votre appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon humide mais ne l’immergez jamais dans de l’eau ni dans
tout autre liquide !
Protégez votre appareil contre la poussière. Si nécessaire, nettoyez délicatement avec une brosse ou un pinceau les
grilles d’entrée de l’air. Enlevez et nettoyez également les accessoires utilisés.
Cet appareil est conforme aux directives européennes 2004/108/CE, 2009/125/CE, 2006/95/CE
et au règlement (CE) N. 1275/2008.

VALERA garantit l’appareil que vous venez d’acheter aux conditions suivantes:

2. La garantie n’est applicable que sous présentation de ce certificat de garantie ou du document d’achat.
3. La garantie couvre l’élimination de tous les défauts s’étant vérifiés lors de la période de garantie dérivant de défauts
de matériaux ou de fabrication prouvés. L’élimination des défauts de l’appareil peut s’effectuer soit en le réparant soit
en le remplaçant. La garantie ne couvre pas les défauts ni les dommages provoqués par un branchement au réseau

4. Toute autre revendication, de quelque nature que ce soit, est exclue, en particulier celle concernant le

5. Le service de garantie est réalisé gratuitement. Il ne représente pas une prolongation ni un nouveau départ de la
période de garantie.
6. La garantie échoit si l’appareil est altéré ou réparé par des personnes non autorisées.
En cas de panne, renvoyer l’appareil correctement emballé avec le certificat de garantie correctement daté et timbré
par le vendeur à l’un de nos Centres d’Assistance agréés ou au magasin d’achat qui l’enverra à l’importateur officiel
pour la réparation sous garantie.
Le symbole sur le produit ou son emballage indique que ce produit ne peut être traité comme déchet
ménager. Il doit être remis au point de collecte prèvu à cet effet (collecte et recyclage du matériel électrique et
électronique). En procédant à la mise à la casse réglementaire de l’appareil, nous préservons l’environnement

indicata sull’apparecchio.

•Non cercare di recuperare un apparecchio elettrico caduto nell’acqua: staccare subito la spina dalla presa di

L’apparecchio é dotato di una protezione dal surriscaldamento che lo spegne immediatamente in caso di
temperatura eccessiva. In questo caso portare l’interruttore sulla posizione 0 e lasciare raffreddare
l’apparecchio per 5 minuti.
•Fare sempre raffreddare l’apparecchio prima di riporlo e non avvolgere mai il cordone intorno all’apparecchio.
Periodicamente controllare che il cavo non sia danneggiato.
•Non utilizzare il vostro apparecchio se presenta un’anomalia, se è caduto o se il cavo è danneggiato. Non
cercare di riparare l’apparecchio elettrico da soli, bensì rivolgersi ad un tecnico autorizzato.
•Gli elementi che costituiscono l’imballo dell’apparecchio (sacchetti di plastica, scatola di cartone, ecc.) non
devono essere lasciati alla portata dei bambini in quanto potenziale fonte di pericolo.

raffreddare questi pezzi prima di toccarli.
•Non rimuovere l’apparecchio dalla testa mentre è ancora in funzione, ma prima portare l’interruttore sulla
posizione 0.
Importante
Questo apparecchio risponde alle norme di sicurezza per gli apparecchi elettrici essendo munito di un
termostato di sicurezza che, in caso di surriscaldamento, si arresta automaticamente. Dopo un breve
periodo di tempo riprende a funzionare. Prima di ogni utilizzo verificare che le griglie di entrata e di uscita
dell’aria dell’apparecchio siano perfettamente pulite.

FUNZIONE “ION”
La funzione “ION” di questo prodotto è sempre attiva. Essa produce un flusso di ioni negativi che favorisce il
condizionamento dei vostri capelli, ha un effetto rigenerante e li rende più morbidi e facili da pettinare, con più
volume e lucentezza.
Gli ioni con carica negativa aiutano a ridurre l’elettricità statica e l’effetto “fly-away” dei capelli (capelli rizzi) e
le increspature.
CONSIGLI PER L’USO
1. Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio, lavare i capelli e asciugarli con un asciugamani.
2. Applicare i bigodini come da abitudine.
3. Inserite la spina dell’apparecchio nella presa di corrente.

4. Indossate l’apparecchio mettendo la cinghietta a tracolla (tenendo gli interruttori ed il cavo di alimentazione
sulla sinistra).
5. Indossare il casco tenendo i forellini all’interno.
6. Collegare il casco all’apparecchio calzando la parte elastica alla bocchetta di fuoriuscita dell’aria.
7. Per un corretto funzionamento/gonfiaggio il casco non deve sopportare il peso della parte soffiante, regolare
di conseguenza la lunghezza della cinghietta di sospensione.
8. Per asciugare i vostri capelli posizionate l’interruttore su 1 o 2. Una volta completata l’asciugatura
posizionare l’interruttore Su “C” (COOL).
9. Per spegnere l’apparecchio riportare l’interruttore sulla posizione 0.
10. Infine rimuovere il casco dalla testa.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Prima di pulire l’apparecchio staccare sempre la spina dalla presa di corrente!
Lasciate raffreddare l’apparecchio e gli accessori utilizzati prima di procedere alla loro pulizia.
Potete pulire il vostro apparecchio con un panno umido, ma non immergetelo mai nell’acqua o in qualsiasi altro
liquido!
Rimuovete e pulite anche gli accessori utilizzati.

sostituendo il prodotto stesso. La garanzia non copre difetti o danni causati da allacciamento alla rete elettrica

4. È esclusa ogni altra rivendicazione di qualsiasi natura, in particolare di risarcimento di eventuali danni al di

5. Il servizio di garanzia viene eseguito senza addebito; esso non costituisce un prolungamento o un nuovo inizio
del periodo di garanzia.
6. La garanzia decade se l’apparecchio viene manomesso o riparato da persone non autorizzate.
In caso di guasto, ritornate l’apparecchio ben imballato e con il certificato di garanzia regolarmente datato e
timbrato dal venditore a uno dei nostri Centri Assistenza autorizzati o al Vostro negoziante che provvederà a
inviarlo all’importatore ufficiale per la riparazione in garanzia.
Il simbolo sul prodotto o sulla confezione indica che il prodotto non deve essere considerato come un
normale rifiuto domestico, ma deve essere portato nel punto di raccolta appropriato per il riciclaggio di

•Antes de usar el aparato, controle que esté bien seco.
•ATENCIÓN: no utilizar este aparato cerca de bañeras,

• Conecte el aparato sólo a corriente alterna y controle que la tensión de red corresponda con la indicada en el
mismo.
• No sumerja nunca el aparato en agua ni en otros líquidos.
• No apoye el aparato en un lugar desde el cual pueda caer dentro de agua u otros líquidos.
• No intente agarrar un aparato eléctrico que esté dentro del agua: desenchúfelo inmediatamente de la toma de
corriente.
• Siempre que apoye el aparato, apáguelo.
• Cuando termine de usar el aparato, apáguelo y desenchúfelo de la toma de corriente. No desenchufe el aparato
tirando del cable de corriente.
• No desenchufe el aparato con las manos mojadas.
• Cuando utilice el aparato, controle que las rejillas de entrada y salida del aire no queden obstruidas. En caso de
temperatura excesiva, el aparato se apaga de forma automática ya que posee un sistema de protección. En este
caso, ponga el interruptor en la posición 0 para apagar el aparato y déjelo enfriar durante 5 minutos.
• Antes de guardar el aparato, déjelo enfriar; no enrolle nunca el cable eléctrico alrededor del aparato. Controle
periódicamente que el cable no esté dañado.
• No utilice el aparato si está averiado o se ha caído o si el cable está dañado. No intente reparar nunca el aparato.
Si está averiado, tiene que llevarlo a un centro técnico autorizado.
• Los elementos del embalaje del aparato (bolsas de plástico, caja de cartón, etc.) no tienen que dejarse nunca al
alcance de los niños ya que son peligrosos.
•Este aparato tiene que destinarse sólo a los usos para los cuales ha sido proyectado. Cualquier otro uso se
considerará impropio y, por consiguiente, peligroso. El fabricante no se hace responsable de los posibles daños
derivados de un uso impropio o erróneo.
• Se prohíbe usar cualquier tipo de spray con el aparato en marcha.

RECOMENDACIONES DE USO
1. Antes de utilizar el aparato, lave el pelo y séquelo con una toalla.
2. Coloque los bigudíes como de costumbre.
3. Introduzca la clavija del aparato en el enchufe.
4. Póngase el aparato colgando la correa en bandolera (dejando los interruptores y el cable de alimentación a la
izquierda).
5. Colóquese el casco dejando los orificios en el interior.
6. Conecte el casco al aparato introduciendo la parte elástica en la boca de salida del aire.

10. Por último, retire el casco de la cabeza.
LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO
Siempre que desee limpiar el aparato, desenchúfelo. Limpie el aparato con un paño húmedo. No lo sumerja nunca
en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.
Proteja el aparato contra el polvo. Si es necesario, limpie con un cepillo o un pincel las rejillas de entrada del aire.
Cuando use un accesorio, quítelo y límpielo.

•Controleer voor gebruik van het apparaat of het goed
droog is.
•LET OP: gebruik dit apparaat niet in de buurt van
badkuipen, wastafels of andere houders met water.
•Dit apparaat mag worden gebruikt door kinderen vanaf 8
jaar en door personen met beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglijke
of geestelijke vermogens of met weinig ervaring en/of
kennis, mits deze personen onder passend toezicht staan
of geïnstrueerd zijn over het gebruik van het apparaat en ze
zich bewust zijn van de bijbehorende gevaren.
•Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen.
• Als de haardroger in een badkamer wordt gebruikt, moet de
stekker na het gebruik uit het stopcontact worden gehaald,
aangezien de aanwezigheid van water ook een gevaar kann
vormen als de haardroger uitgeschakeld is.
• Gebruik uw haardroger niet als hij gevallen is of als het
elektrisch snoer beschadigd is. Probeer nooit zelf een
elektrisch toestel te herstellen, maar wend u steeds tot een
erkend hersteller.

•De reiniging en het onderhoud mogen niet zonder toezicht door kinderen worden uitgevoerd.
•Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op wisselstroom en controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met de spanning
die op het apparaat wordt aangegeven.
•Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.
•Leg het apparaat nooit op een plek waar het gemakkelijk in water of andere vloeistoffen kan vallen.
•Probeer nooit een elektrisch apparaat dat in water is gevallen, eruit te halen: trek meteen de stekker uit het
stopcontact.
•Schakel het apparaat altijd uit als u het neerlegt.
•Schakel het apparaat na gebruik altijd uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact. Trek niet aan de kabel wanneer
u de stekker uit het stopcontact haalt.
•Haal de stekker niet met natte handen uit het stopcontact.
•Gebruik het apparaat zodanig dat de in- en uitblaasroosters nooit belemmerd worden. Het apparaat heeft
een oververhittingsbeveiliging, die het onmiddellijk uitschakelt als een te hoge temperatuur wordt bereikt. Zet
de schakelaar in dit geval op de stand 0 en laat het apparaat 5 minuten afkoelen.
•Laat het apparaat altijd afkoelen voordat u het opbergt en wikkel het snoer nooit om het apparaat. Controleer
regelmatig of de kabel niet beschadigd is.
•Gebruik uw apparaat niet indien deze niet goed functioneert, als het is gevallen of als de kabel is beschadigd.
Probeer het elektrische apparaat niet zelf te repareren, maar wendt u tot een bevoegde technicus.
•Houd de verpakkingsmaterialen (plastic zakjes, kartonnen doos, enz.) buiten het bereik van kinderen omdat
zij een mogelijke bron van gevaar vormen.
•Dit apparaat mag uitsluitend gebruikt worden voor de doeleinden waarvoor het uitdrukkelijk ontworpen is.
Ieder ander gebruik is oneigenlijk, en dus gevaarlijk. De fabrikant is niet aansprakelijk voor eventuele schade
door oneigenlijk of onjuist gebruik.
•Gebruik geen haarsprays bij een ingeschakeld apparaat.
•Om gevaarlijke oververhitting te voorkomen, raden wij u aan de voedingskabel over de gehele lengte uit te
rollen.
•Let op - De metalen delen worden erg heet als u het apparaat lange tijd gebruikt. Wees dus voorzichtig en
laat deze delen eerst afkoelen voordat u ze aanraakt.
•Haal het apparaat niet weg van uw hoofd terwijl het nog werkt, maar zet de schakelaar eerst op de stand 0.
Belangrijk
Dit apparaat voldoet aan de veiligheidsvoorschriften voor elektrische apparaten, aangezien het is uitgerust
met een veiligheidsthermostaat die het apparaat bij oververhitting automatisch uitschakelt. Na een korte
tijd zal het weer gaan functioneren. Controleer voor elk gebruik of de inblaasroosters van het apparaat goed
schoon zijn.

“ION”- FUNCTIE
De “ION”-functie van dit product is altijd actief. Zij produceert een stroom van negatieve ionen die de conditie
van uw haar verbetert, tevens een herstellende werking heeft en het zachter en gemakkelijker te kammen maakt,
en voor meer volume en glans zorgt.
Vanwege de negatieve lading van de ionen wordt het haar minder statisch en wordt bij krullend en opspringend
haar het “fly-away”-effect verminderd.
GEBRUIKSAANWIJZING
1. Alvorens het apparaat te gebruiken, het haar wassen en met een handdoek droogwrijven.
2. De rollers op de gebruikelijke manier aanbrengen.
3. De stekker van het apparaat in het stopcontact plaatsen.
4. Draag het apparaat door de draagriem over uw schouder te plaatsen (zorg dat de schakelaars en de
voedingskabel aan de linkerkant zitten).

Het symbool op het product of op de verpakking wijst erop dat dit product niet als huisafval mag worden
behandeld. Het moet echter naar een plaats worden gebracht waar elektrische en elektronische apparatuur wordt
gerecycled. Als u ervoor zorgt dat dit product op de correcte manier wordt verwijderd, voorkomt u mogelijk voor mens
en milieu negatieve gevolgen die zich zouden kunnen voordoen in geval van verkeerde afvalbehandeling. Voor meer
details in verband met het recyclen van dit product, neemt u het best contact op met de gemeentelijke instanties, het
bedrijf of de dienst belast met het verwijderen van huishoudafval of de winkel waar u het product hebt gekocht.
5. Zet de droogkap met de gaatjes aan de binnenkant op uw hoofd.
6. Koppel de droogkap aan het apparaat door het elastische gedeelte over de luchtopening te schuiven.
7. Het apparaat werkt correct/wordt bol indien de droogkap niet het gewicht van het blaasgedeelte draagt, regel
daarom de lengte van de draagriem.
8. Voor het drogen van uw haar de schakelaar op stand 1 of 2 zetten. Als het haar droog is de schakelaar op
de stand “ C” (COOL) zetten.
9. Om het apparaat uit te schakelen de schakelaar op de stand 0 zetten.
10. Haal als laatste de droogkap van uw hoofd.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
Haal de stekker altijd uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt!
U kunt uw apparaat met een vochtige doek schoonmaken, maar dompel het nooit onder in water of in een
andere vloeistof!
Bescherm uw apparaat tegen stof. Maak de inblaasroosters zo nodig voorzichtig schoon met een borstel of een
kwastje.
Verwijder ook de gebruikte accessoires en maak ze schoon.
Dit apparaat voldoet aan de Europese richtlijnen 2004/108/EG, 2009/125/EG, 2006/95/EG
en aan de verordening (EG) nr. 1275/2008.
GARANTIE
Valera biedt volgende garantievoorwaarden:
1 Van toepassing zijn de garantievoorwaarden die door onze officiële distributeur in het land van aankoop zijn
vastgesteld. In Zwitserland en in de landen waar de Europese richtlijn 44/99/CE van kracht is, geldt een
garantieperiode van 24 maanden bij huishoudelijk gebruik en van 12 maanden bij professioneel of soortgelijk
gebruik. De garantieperiode loopt vanaf de aankoopdatum van het apparaat. De aankoopdatum is de datum
die staat op dit volledig ingevulde en door de verkoper gestempelde garantiebewijs of op de aankoopbon.
2. De garantie is enkel van toepassing na voorlegging van het certificaat of het bewijs van aankoop.
3. De garantie dekt het verwijderen van bewezen materiaal- of fabricagefouten, tijdens de garantieperiode. Dit
kan gebeuren door reparatie of vervanging van het toestel. De garantie is niet van toepassing in geval van
schade door aansluiting op een netwerk dat niet aan de officiële normen voldoet, noch in geval van niet
naleven van de gebruiksaanwijzing.
4. Elke andere schadeclaim van welke aard dan ook is uitgesloten, in het bijzonder terugbetaling van schade
veroorzaakt door externe factoren, buiten degenen die uitdrukkelijk bepaald zijn door de van kracht zijnde
wetgeving.
5. De garantie-service is gratis. Deze vertegenwoordigt geen enkele verlenging noch vernieuwing van de
garantie periode.
6. De garantie vervalt indien het toestel vervalst is of gerepareerd werd door een niet erkende persoon.
In geval van defect, gelieve het toestel behoorlijk verpakt, samen met het garantiebewijs (gedateerd en voorzien
van de stempel van de verkoper) terug te sturen naar één van de officiële Service Centra, of te bezorgen aan
de winkel waar het toestel werd aangekocht. Zij zullen het nodige doen om uw toestel onder garantie te laten
herstellen.
