Sec ion 3 provides checklis and amplified procedures for coping wi h
emergencies ha may occur. Emergencies caused by aeroplanes or engine
malfunc ion are ex remely rare if proper prefligh inspec ions and main enance
are prac ised.
However, should an emergency arise, he basic guidelines described in his
sec ion should be considered and applied as necessary o correc he problem.
