Satellite Phone
Problem: Making Calls
Solution:
(1) Rotate the satellite antennae
(2) Check signal strength
(3) Make sure unit is registered with the
satellite.
(4) Display should be shown as in section
labeled “4. signal lock-in” on prior
page.
Problem: Receiving Calls
Solution:
(1) Check that the phone is on;
(2) Check that the ringer is loud enough
(3) Check signal strength Rotate the satel-
lite antennae into correct position as
indicated on previous page
(4) Ensure the satellite antennae has a
clear view of the Southwest sky
(5) Display should be shown as in section
labeled “4. signal lock-in” on prior
page.

owners manual included on satellite phone

4. Signal lock-in:
5. Making a Satellite call : Enter the tele-
phone number… Ensure one “1” and the
area code are entered (001-area code- ###-
####), and press the send key
6. Correct /Optimal Satellite Antennae
Placement : While speaking on the
ISATPHONE 2, ensure the unit is orient-
ed as depicted below.
7. Texting capability is available: Refer to
the owners manual located on thumb drive
in pelican case.

ISAT 2 : Satellite Phone
1. Satellite Calls: Move yourself to an op-
timal position as indicated below.
Important: Be sure that the satellite anten-
nae is pointing straight up and that you
can see the Southwest sky:
2. Satellite Antennae Extension: Place
thumb under the end of the satellite anten-
nae and gently rotate the antennae parallel
with the handset (i.e.; vertical with unit)
3. Prepare ISAT 2 to Make Satellite Call:
(a) Press power button to power unit on.
(b) If the screen displays a “figure 8” fol-
low the instructions on the screen. This
enables the phone to get a GPS lock
and is necessary for the phone to regis-
ter with the satellite.
