Installing the Batteries
Remove the batterycover from theRemote Control andput
2xAAA size batteriesinside the compartment.
The diagram inside theBattery Compartment shows thecorrect
way to install thebatteries.

Using the Remote Control
To usethe Remote Control, pointit towards the front of theDigital IMP
Box. The RemoteControl has a rangeof up to7 metres fromthe Set IMP
Box at an angleof up to 60degrees.
The Remote Controlwill not operateif its pathis blocked.
Sunlight or very brightlight will decrease thesensitivity of the Remote
Control.
1. : Turn the sound off, press again to
restore the sound.
2. PICTURE: Shortcut to the picture browser
to browser the pictures stored in the internal/
externail storage device.

3.FILE: Shortcut to the file browser to browser
the files stored in the internal/externail storage
device. * only available in home page.
4. GOTO: Enter the specified webpage directly
after finished the typing by soft keyboard.
5. WEB: Shortcut to the search engine page.
* only available in home page.
6. MENU: Display on-screen menu depends on
the applications, or switch the focus item in the
Search Engine tool bar.
7. : Move cursors in on-screen menu.
* Also referred to Up/Down/Right/Left
throughout the manual.
8. DEL: Del the words or number on the soft
keyboard.
9. : Fast backward or forward during a
playback.
10. 0-9: Enter value in on-screen menu.
Or for smart typing in built-in T9 input method.

12. : Switch between standby and operation
mode. The box will go to standby forcedly if you
keep hold of this button in operation mode for

2.2 Install Applications
(1) Install theapk file inexternal mass storagedevice byAppInstaller.
(2) Download andinstall various applicationsin Androidmaket or localapp
market.
Note: Not all theapps are supportedby IMP Box
2.3 Uninstall Applications
Enter Settings application,select Applications-> Manage applicaions->
The application you wantto uninstall ->Uninstall in turn.

Highlight theMusic item in home pageor pressMUSIC hotkey to enter
music player, choosethe storage device andpath which has musicfiles,
then start toplayback the file.
Press MENU hotkey you willsee a toolbar at thebottom of thescreen,
it allows theusers to dothe operations aslisted below:

If the userpressed MENU hotkey when thereis no softkeyboard and notin
adress typing mode,he will seea tool barat the bottomof the screen,

Set browser type: choose built-inflash player,Android -website will send

8.1 Wireless & networks: check markWi-Fi option,then chooseavailable
Network in Wi-Fisettings, then inputthe correct password.
8.2 Ethernet: check markEthernet option,choose thenetwork type(DHCP
and Static IP) inEthernet settings, user needmanual input the IPaddress/
Net mask/DNS address/Default gatewayif it's Static IP, the save it.
