•Familiarise yourself with the fun tions of the devi e before a tually
using it.
•All modifi ations of the devi e are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage
aused by user modifi ations to the devi e is not overed by the

5.1 Overview

5.2 Preparati n
Conne t the devi e to the mains to swit h it on. The devi e will start the
self- he k pro ess.

5.3 Keypad
key descripti n
Press the STORE/RECALL button to store/re all a pre-set
value to/from the memory bank.
V/A Press V/A to swit h between the urrent and voltage
measurements.
Press the USB button to enter the USB power- harging
mode. Adjust the voltage to 5.2 V and the urrent to 3 A.
Press the OUT button to use the devi e as power harger.
Press the USB button again to exit the fun tion.
Press the OUT button to put the power supply in output
status and read the urrent and voltage values on the
display. Press again to exit the fun tion.
Press the UP button to a tivate the ba klight.
Press the DOWN button to dea tivate the ba klight.
Press the LEFT button to de rease the display ontrast.
Press the RIGHT button to in rease the display ontrast.
SET Press SET and adjust the values with the arrow keys. Press
V/A to swit h between urrent and voltage.
5.4 Basic Operati ns
V ltage and Current Setting
1. Conne t the devi e to the mains.
2. Press the OUT button to dea tivate the output mode.
3. Press V/A to sele t the voltage or urrent mode.
4. Press the SET button to enter the setting mode.
5. Press or to sele t the digit, adjust the sele ted value with or .
6. Press SET to onfirm your setting.
REMARK
It is possible to set the voltage or urrent on e the
outputs are valid. However, for the prote tion of
the load, it is re ommended to stop the output
before voltage or urrent setting.
Due to the total power limit, urrent settings might
be de reased automati ally on e the voltage
setting is in reased.

5.5 Checking the Output
Output V ltage Regulati n
1. Conne t the devi e to the mains.
2. Press V/A to swit h to voltage mode.
3. Adjust to the desired value (from 1 to max. 30 V).
4. Press the OUT button to put the devi e in output mode.
Output C nstant Current M de
1. Conne t the devi e to the mains.
2. Adjust the voltage to 30 V.
3. Conne t the resistan e (3 Ω/50 W) between the output terminals.
4. Press V/A to swit h to urrent mode and adjust the various urrent
values.
5. Press the OUT button to put the devi e in output mode and he k the
displayed urrent values.
Output Sh rt-Circuit Pr tecti n
1. Conne t the devi e to the mains.
2. Adjust the voltage to > 5 V and the urrent to > 1 A.
3. Press the OUT button to put the devi e in output mode.
4. Conne t the output terminals
USB Charging Functi n
1. Conne t the devi e to the mains.
2. Adjust the urrent to > 2.5 A.
3. Press V/A to swit h to voltage mode.
4. Press the USB button to a tivate the USB output.
5. Press the OUT button to put the devi e in output mode.
5.6 Other Functi ns
Data Saving
1. Conne t the devi e to the mains.
2. In setting mode, press the STORE/RECALL button to open the
memory banks.
3. Sele t your memory bank with or .
4. Press SET to save the set values into the sele ted memory bank.

5.7 V ltage and Current Calibrati n
Conne t the output terminals to a 5-digit voltage meter, urrent meter or
10 Ω/100 W resistan e.
1. Conne t the output terminal to an external referen e voltage or
urrent meter.
2. Press V/A to swit h to voltage or urrent mode.
3. Use the keys to adjust the displayed value to orrespond with the
referen e voltage or urrent.
4. Press SET to onfirm.
5.8 Backlight
In normal operating mode, press to a tivate the ba klight; press to
dea tivate.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
•Dis onne t the devi e from the mains prior to maintenan e a tivities.
•The power supply ables must not show any damage. Have a qualified
te hni ian maintain the devi e.
•Wipe the devi e regularly with a moist, lint-free loth. Do not use
al ohol or solvents.
•There are no user-servi eable parts, apart from the fuse. Conta t your
dealer for spare parts if ne essary.
•Store the devi e in a dry, well-ventilated, dust-free room and keep it
lean. Remove the power plug if the devi e is to be stored for a
prolonged period of time.
