GETTING STARTED
Alexa treats shades as if they were lights, so the voice commands should be:
“Alexa, turn ON (shades’s name on VTi®HomeMate app)” to open the shade
“Alexa, turn OFF (shades’s name on VTi®HomeMate app)” to close the shade
Alexa responds to names created in the VTi®HomeMate app. Avoid using all special characters as well as numbers
when you name the shades on the VTi®HomeMate app. For example consider using “Neolux one” instead of
“Neolux 1”.
If you have changed the name of your shade in your VTi®HomeMate app, please ensure you force close the VTi®
HomeMate app, then reopen it again. After that you can rediscover the different devices in your Alexa app. Scene
