matching of the beats (BPM) between songs.

the control of three functions; scan, seardt aad

operation.
4. The high performance mechanisms and AUTO
BLANK PASS function will minimize the time lag
between the starting operation and the beginaing of
a song.
5. Pick up skipping is prevented by the use of the
r:nique DOIIBLE SUSPNSION SYSTEM. This
shock,/vibration proof desig;n isolates the player
from low frequeacy vibrations.
6. The CUE POINT feature allows the DJ to select aa
optional play start point aad to perform various re-
mix technigues.
7. The PITCH BEND firnction permits the DJ to
change the pitch insta-ntly and to mix two CDs
with the sr-e feeling 6s mi-ing two vinyl records.
8. The se+.through top cover and cl"mp desiga allow
the DJ to observe the CD rotation aad also quickly
chaage the disc.
9. Removable feet allow for table top use or staadard

NOTE : Memory of the cue point will be lost if
any of the following are done.
a.Turning off the power.
b.After the cue point is set- if PAUSE and PLAY
operations are performed before the (B) CUE
button is pressed, the set memory wiU be
cleared- The last point at which PLAY was
performed by the (3) PLAY button will be the
new meoorized CUE point. Be careful with your
c. operations.
(3)PLAY,/PAUSE BUTTON

a. When ttre (4) MONITOR button is pressed during
a PAUSE o'ode, a repeated sound where the disc
is paused will be heard in the ou@ut. ln this

the (6) STICK CONTROLLER. Movement crili be
from 1 !o 75 frane units.
b. )Ionitor mode is only released when the (4)
MOMTOR button is pressed again. If thi. release
operation is not performed, the play back sigaal
will be affected if the stick conkoller is moved,
so be careful of misoperalion.
NOTE: Discs are recorded aL76 ft"-e,/sec.
(s)PITCH AAJUSTMENT FADER

match the music beats.

(6) STICK CONTROLLER
With this STICK CONTROLLER, three functions
are controlled.
a.Pitch bend function (stick up: (-) direction, stick
down: (+) direction).
The stick is moved up q1 dowq to s'omentarily
change the pitch speed. When the stick is in th-e
ceater position, the player returns to the pitch
which is set by (5) PITCH FADER. This auows
the DJ to sync or adjust the music tempo
smoothly.
NOTE; Wherr lhe pitch is :",:,i :i ::|hg:' .."aximu.Er
position (t8%) with (5) PITCH FADErt, tiie
pitch bend will function in the opposite direction
only.
b.Scan function (stick left:reverse direction, stick
right : forward direction).
The stick is moved left or right to change the
playback speed from 4 tiroes to 16 times normal
speed. It is used for searching for an approxi:nate
point, when the unit is in PLAY mode.
c. Search function (stick left: r€verse direction, stick
right : forward direction).
The stick is moved left or right to search in 1- 70
fra.sre units when the unit is in PAUSE mode or
MONITOR mode.
NOTE; The data of CD is written with 75 frame
per second.
NOTE; With rhe STICK CONTROLLER, the disc
can be searched,/scanned from, a aini-ro,urr of 1
frame (0.013 sec.) unit to a oaxiro"m of 16 times
normal speed permitting quick and accuratE
9urng. Also, PITCH BEND fincrion permits
instant pitch change.

U-sed for skipping forward to the starting point of
the next track, The number 6f timg5 pressed
determines the n'mber of tracks skipped aheid.
(8)PREVIOUS BUTTON K<

of the current track ( onE Fcss ) Prcs,.ing twice
returns to the starting point of the previous rraci.
Pressing additional -d-es will riturn to the
corresponding previous tracks,
(9)DISPLAY
Indicates track number and the tirrre remaining on
the track.
(10)RESET BUTTON
U-sed for stopping the turning CD, or in order to
change the discs.
ln the case that "ERROR" messag€ is indicated on
the display (9) and playback is interrupted, press
RESET button. 'ERROR" message shodd clear
and the player mechanism will retum to "ERROR"
