Important Safety Instrucons
Before using the VIA Mobile360 Forkli Safety System product, drivers must carefully read all the safety instrucons and warnings in this user guide and the vehicle manual.
Using the product means that drivers fully understood, conrmed and agreed to the safety instrucons and warnings stated in this user guide and the vehicle manual. If
these terms are not agreeable or are dicult to understand, drivers must contact their supervisor.
Cauon:
The product cannot replace a driver, and the use of the product does not mean that a driver's safe driving responsibility is reduced. Drivers must drive carefully following laws and regulaons.
• Drivers must understand that the product is an intelligent video surveillance assistance system and not an automated driving system. It can issue warning alerts
in certain potenally dangerous situaons encountered in favorable condions. Drivers must not use it as a substute for driving a motor vehicle or construcon
vehicle. For any operaon that is usually performed at the me, drivers must remain vigilant under driving condions while strict complying with all safe driving
standards and regulaons.
• Drivers must understand that although the product uses machine vision soware and other top innovave technologies, it cannot guarantee 100% accurate
detecon of vehicles, people, obstacles, or lanes. The road surface, weather and other condions will also aect the detecon accuracy. The ability to recognize
and react has a great impact, and we cannot guarantee to provide all corresponding audible or visual warnings. Therefore, drivers must avoid relying fully on the
product for operang environment awareness and personal safety, losing their judgment, and being negligent when driving. Drivers must ensure strict compliance
with all safe driving standards and regulaons.
• Drivers must understand that before familiarizing with the funcons of operang the product, drivers must not try changing the system sengs of the product.
While driving, drivers must not try changing the system sengs of the product or the posion of its sensors. Drivers must also always abide by safe driving
regulaons when using the VIA Mobile360 7" display (upgrade opon), and pay aenon to the operang environment even when viewing the display.
Magnets Warning
• The product contains powerful magnets. Drivers must exercise cauon when handling to avoid pinching.
• The magnets are fragile. Drivers must avoid dropping or banging them.
• Drivers must not approach the product with magnec, electrical materials, and electrical appliances, including heart rate regulators, etc., to avoid degaussing,
device failure, or even destrucon due to strong magnesm.
• Drivers must not use the product in environments exceeding the operang temperature of the system specicaon to avoid magnet demagnezaon.
• Drivers sensive to metal objects must strictly avoid handling the strong magnets.
Pre-Operaon
• Drivers must familiarize themselves with this user guide and the vehicle user manual before using the product.
• Drivers must not cover or block the VIA Mobile360 cameras, 7" display, or controls.
• Except for the purposes stated in this user guide, drivers must not use the product for any other purpose.

1. Document Overview
This document is a user guide to introduce drivers to:
• The VIA Mobile360 Forkli Safety System's safety alerts and display interfaces.
• The VIA WorkX Connect mobile app for driver registraon using QR code, inspecon report submissions and changing their sign-in password.
2. VIA Mobile360 Forkli Safety System
This secon describes the VIA Mobile360 Forkli Safety System's safety alerts and display interfaces.
2.1 Safety Alerts
For smart situaonal awareness needed to safely maneuver around crowded and noisy working spaces, the VIA Mobile360 Forkli Safety System supports people detecon
through its front and rear cameras. The people detecon zone for both the front and rear cameras covers an area of between 4~5 meters. The detecon area can be
congured with either a single (crical) zone or two (warning and crical) zones to aid drivers in avoiding accidents with people moving around the forkli through an audio
or voice alert.
The table below includes the voice and sound alerts played to nofy drivers when people are detected in warning and crical zones around the vehicle.

Note:
If mulple people are detected around the vehicle, the system will play the alert for the closest person to the vehicle.

To ensure that drivers remain fully aenve while behind the wheel, the VIA Mobile360 Forkli Safety System supports driver safety through its driver camera. The table
below includes Driver Safety System (DSS) voice alerts played to nofy drivers when fague, smoking or phone usage is detected.

2.2 7" Display
The 7" display provides a visual aid in the forkli cockpit for increased driver safety and awareness of the vehicle's environment. If installed, it provides drivers a live view of
the front and rear camera feeds as well as visual alerts for people detecon and driver safety.
2.2.1 Interfaces
In this secon, descripons are provided for interfaces shown on the display depending on the VIA Forkli Safety System conguraon installed.
Standard Conguraon - Front, Rear and Driver Cameras
The standard VIA Forkli Safety System conguraon provides live feeds of the front and rear cameras as well as visual alerts as shown below:

Speed & Reverse Light Sensor Conguraon
The Speed and Reverse Light Sensor Kit provides enhanced viewing of the camera feeds based on the direcon of moon as well as the addional benet of speed alert
warnings to ensure drivers maintain safe driving speeds while operang the vehicle. When the vehicle exceeds the speed limit set by management, drivers will be noed
with an audio alert to "Slow Down" and the speed indicator on the display will turn red.
Depending on the vehicle's driving state, the display will dynamically change to show the opmal view for the driver, as described in the table below:

2.2.2 Controls
The driver can adjust the display for opmal viewing based on the environmental condions, as shown below:
01 - Light sensor
02 - Power indicator
03 - Power buon
04 - Select back
05 - Menu
06 - Select forward
07 - Mode switching / selecon
Pushing the "Menu" buon will bring up the following items:
• Brightness
• Contrast
• Color
• Hue
• Screen Rotaon (TCON)
• Language - This will only change the display language in the menu, it will not aect the UI language sengs.
• Auto Dim - If this is enabled, the panel brightness will automacally adjust based on the ambient brightness detected by the light sensor. (Make sure the light
sensor is not blocked.)
• Reset

3. Driver Responsibilies with VIA WorkX Connect Cloud
For vehicles equipped with a VIA Mobile360 Forkli Safety System connected to the VIA WorkX Connect Cloud, drivers will be required to complete 2 key acons to ensure
accurate reporng to the cloud is done.
The rst acon is for drivers to register themselves for a "trip" each me they turn on and drive the forkli, while the second acon is to complete a daily inspecon report
to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
3.1 VIA WorkX Connect Mobile App
The VIA WorkX Connect companion app provides an easy way for drivers to complete the required acons of registering for a trip and subming inspecon reports to the
VIA WorkX Connect Cloud.
To get started, scan the corresponding QR code below to download the VIA WorkX Connect app from the Google Play Store for Android devices or the App Store for iOS
devices.
Aer downloading, launch the VIA WorkX Connect app and sign in using your email and password provided by management (the default password is "First-Name_Last-
Name").

3.1.1 Changing Sign-in Password
Drivers can follow the steps below to change their VIA WorkX Connect sign-in password:
1. Sign in to the VIA Mobile360 WorkX Connect app and tap on "Info" in the boom menu bar of the app.
2. In the "Info" tab menu, tap on "Change Password".
3. Fill in the old password once and the new password twice, before tapping on "Save Password".
Aer the new password is saved, it will be eecve immediately.
Note:
The new password lled in must be dierent from all passwords previously used.

3.2 Driver Registraon
There are two methods for a driver to register for a "trip"; with Facial recognion (Face ID) or scanning their Driver QR Code through the driver camera.
When the vehicle is started the driver will hear one of two nocaons prompng them to register for the trip.
• Look at the camera or scan driver QR code - can use Face ID or Driver QR code to complete registraon
• Scan driver QR code - can only use the Driver QR code to complete registraon
Face ID Registraon - If "Look at the camera or scan Driver QR code" is heard aer starng a vehicle, drivers can register with Face ID by looking at the camera unl they
hear "Driver Registered".
Driver QR Code Registraon - If either nocaon is heard aer starng a vehicle, the Driver can use the Driver QR code to register for the trip as follows:
1. Sign in to the VIA WorkX Connect app and the Driver QR code will be shown on the screen.
2. Aer hearing either nocaon to register for the trip, place the QR code displayed in the app in front of the driver camera unl "Driver Registered" is heard.

3.3 Inspecon Reports
For the safety of people on the oor and drivers themselves, it is recommended that drivers (or qualied mechanics) perform daily thorough inspecons to ensure the
vehicle is in proper operang condion. Drivers can complete this task with the VIA WorkX Connect App
Aer a driver starts a vehicle and completes the Driver Registraon process, the VIA Mobile360 Forkli Safety System will play an "Inspecon Required" nocaon if an
inspecon report has not been submied for the vehicle on that day. Drivers must then follow the steps below to complete and submit an inspecon report.
Note:
Only authorized drivers successfully registered for the trip can view the inspecon report form in the VIA WorkX Connect mobile app.
1. Start the vehicle and complete Driver Registraon using the Driver QR Code or Face ID.
2. When the "Inspecon Required" nocaon is heard, sign in to the VIA Mobile360 WorkX Connect app and tap on
"Inspecon" in the boom menu bar of the app.
3. The inspecon report for the vehicle will now be displayed. Ensure that the "Vehicle ID" at the top of the inspecon
report form matches the target vehicle. If it does, proceed to perform the safety inspecon checking o all items in
the form.
4. Once completed, tap "Submit" to submit the inspecon report to the VIA WorkX Connect Cloud.
