the chute, narrow

2. Place the nozzle onto the chute over
the auger. Turn counterclockwise to

into the chute assembly

USE
• When using the Fruiti Freeze for the rst time, be sure
that all packing material has been removed, including
any material that may be inside the chute. Also, wash the
plunger, chute, auger, nozzle and chute assembly cover in
warm, soapy water, rinsing thoroughly.
• Begin with fruit that has been completely frozen. Allow to
thaw slightly. Thaw time depends on type and size of fruit.
Berries should thaw for around ve minutes, while larger
fruit such as peaches may need to thaw 15-20 minutes.
• Place the unit on a dry, stable surface before use.
• Be sure the power cord is tucked away so that nothing can
pull on it. Be sure the plug and outlet are a safe distance
from any water source. Plug in the unit.
• Remove the plunger from the chute and place a container
for your treat on the tray and underneath the nozzle.
• Turn the unit on.
• Slowly insert frozen fruit into the chute without overlling.
• Do not place thick skins, tough cores, fruit pits, ice, or
honey into the Fruiti Freeze. Fruits with thick skins, tough
cores and pits must have these removed before being
placed in the unit. This is most easily done before the fruit
is frozen.
• Use the plunger to rmly push the fruit through the chute.
Applying too much pressure can damage the unit, so apply
just enough rm pressure to feed the fruit through the
auger.
• You may add sugar, seasonings, and spices along with the
fruit so that the ingredients are well blended with the fruit.

• There are three ways you can make a frozen treat with
multiple types of fruit:
1. Add the fruit one type at a time. The avors and colors
will be separated, creating a rainbow effect.
2. Add the different types of fruit alternately. There will
still be some color separation, but the avors will be
blended better.
3. Once you’re nished grinding the fruit, stir together with
a spoon. There’s no color separation, but the avors will
be perfectly blended.
• Repeat until you’ve created the desired amount of frozen
treats. However, to avoid overheating, do not use for more
than 15 minutes at a time. Allow Fruiti Freeze to rest for 5 to
10 minutes between uses.
Note: Slight burning odors are common when rst using new
appliances. However, if the burning smell persists or increases,
of if you see smoke coming from the appliance, turn off, unplug
immediately and stop use.
• If the unit stops working, there may be a piece of fruit
caught in the chute assembly. DO NOT place ngers
inside of chute while the unit is plugged in. Turn unit
off, unplug the power cord and disassemble the chute
assembly. You should then be able to clear the clog. Rinse
and dry chute assembly components (NOT the unit base),
reassemble, reattach to the base, plug in, turn on and
begin making frozen treats again.
• Tough skins, tough cores, and hard pits must be removed
from fruits before freezing. Seeds that are easily crushed
and thin skins may be put through the auger, but also may
be removed prior to freezing if desired.

MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the Fruiti Freeze before cleaning and
disassembling.
• Before and after each use, wipe the unit off with a damp
(not dripping), non-abrasive cloth. When nished, dry
thoroughly.
• Remove chute assembly cover, disassemble the chute
assembly, and remove the tray.
• Wash all parts (excluding the base and power cord) by
hand in warm water with a non-abrasive soap and a non-
abrasive cloth or sponge. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Fruiti Freeze parts are not dishwasher safe. Hand wash
only.
