1. General Information
The BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB series uses Pulse Width Modulation
(PWM) charge voltage control combined with a multistage charge control algorithm. This
leads to superior charging and enhanced battery performance. The filtered PWM power
control system uses highly efficient and reliable power MOSFET transistors.
2. Features
•Three stage battery charging [bulk – absorption – float]
•External Temperature sensor included
•2 Battery outputs for 2 separate batteries.
•Battery type: Lead-Acid and LiFePO4
•Protected against reverse polarity connection of the solar panels and/or battery.
•USB output for charging telephones and tablets.
•Temperature protection.
3. Installation
IMPORTANT
•Always connect battery 1 first, in order to allow the Controller to
recognize system voltage.
•Use a 12V (36 cells) solar array for a 12V system.
•Use a 24V (72 cells) solar array for a 24V system.
Important note: always connect the battery 1 first.

1. Connect the battery1 - plus and minus.
2. Connect the battery2 - plus and minus.
3. Connect the solar array - plus and minus.
The reverse order applies when deinstalling.
An improper sequence order can damage the BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-
USB!
1. Make sure your battery1 is charged for the BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB
to recognize the battery type before first installation.
2. The battery cables should be as short as possible to minimize losses.
3. The BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB is only suitable for lead-acid, and
LiFePO4 batteries.
4. The BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB is only suitable for regulating solar
modules. Never connect another charging source to the charge BlueSolar Charge
Controller.

4. LCD DISPLAY and SETTINGS
4.1 Monitoring and settings
Values between [ ] are for 24V battery settings
Boot Display. After connecting the battery the display shows
the solar charger model and the system voltage as
recognized by the solar charger.
1220= BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|20A
2420= BlueSolar PWM DUO 24V|20A
Press MENU to enter next display.
MENU：switch between different displays, or to enter/exit setting by long
press.
UP：press to change the settings when in setting mode.
DOWN: press to change the settings when in setting mode.

Main display: battery1 voltage, battery state of charge, charging
status.
If arrow is flashing charger is in float.
By arrow of: no solar available.
Press MENU to enter next display.
Change settings in
Main display.
Press the MENU
button for several

Charging Ratio of Battery 1
Current ratio to battery1
20% means 20% of available current
to battery 1 and 80% to Battery2
during Bulk phase.
The factory setting is 50%
Note: In the normal charging status, the controller will divide the charging as the setting.
When battery #1 is fully charged, more charge current will go to battery #2.
When the controller detects that only battery #1 is connected, all the charge current will go
to the battery #1 automatically.

Battery2 display: battery2 voltage, battery state of charge,
charging status.
Press MENU to enter next display.
PV Voltage display: PV voltage and the state of charge of the
batteries.
Press MENU to enter next display.
Charge current display: Total PV to batteries1&2 current and the
state of charge of the battery.
If arrow is flashing charger is in float.
Press MENU to enter next display.
USB Voltage display: USB voltage

Press MENU to enter next display.
Internal controller temperature. If the BlueSolar PWM
DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB gets hot during running it will shut
down and wait for the temperature to drop to normal level and
then it will start working again.
Press MENU to enter next display.
External Temperature Sensor temperature. If the external
temperature sensor is connected, battery absorption voltages will
corrected with -30mV/°C for 12V and -60mV/°C for 24V
Without sensor the temperature is 25°C
Press MENU to enter Main display.
For use with External Temperature Sensor connect the sensor to
the BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A

5. Alarms
High temperature
When temp ≥ 85℃, the BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A
LCD-USB will lower the PV input current in order to lower the
temp. There is no alarm on the LCD display.
When temp >90℃, the BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-
USB the PV input current will be reduced to zero, the high temp
alarm icon will show on the LCD. After the temp has decreased
to less than 82℃, BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB
will resume normal operation.

1. Algemene Informatie
De BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB-seriemaakt gebruik van
pulsbreedtemodulatie (PWM) en laadspanningsregeling in combinatie met een meertraps
laadalgoritme. Dit resulteert in hoogwaardig laden en verbeterde accuprestaties. Het
gefilterde PWM-stroomregelsysteem maakt gebruik van uiterst efficiënte en betrouwbare
MOSFET-transistors.
2. Kenmerken
•Drietraps acculaden [bulk - absorptie - float]
•Inclusief externe temperatuursensor
•2 accu-uitgangen voor 2 aparte accu's.
•Accutype: Loodzuur en LiFePO4
•Beschermd tegen omgekeerde polariteitsaansluiting van de zonnepanelen
en/of accu.
•USB-uitgang voor het opladen van telefoons en tablets.
•Temperatuurbescherming.
3. Installatie
BELANGRIJK
•Sluit altijd eerst accu 1 aan, zodat de regelaar de systeemspanning
kan herkennen.
•Gebruik een zonnepaneel van 12 V (36 cellen) voor een 12V-systeem.
•Gebruik een zonnepaneel van 24V (72 cellen) voor een 24V-systeem.
Belangrijk: sluit altijd eerst accu 1 aan.

1. Sluit accu 1 aan - plus en min.
2. Sluit accu 2 aan - plus en min.
3. Sluit het zonnepaneel aan - plus- en min.
De omgekeerde volgorde is van toepassing bij het demonteren.
Een incorrecte volgorde kan de BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB
beschadigen!
1. Zorg ervoor dat uw accu1 is opgeladen voor de BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-
USB om het accutype te herkennen vóór de eerste installatie.
2. De accukabels moeten zo kort mogelijk zijn om spanningsverliezen te minimaliseren.
3. De BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB is alleen geschikt voor loodzuur- en
LiFePo4-accu's.
4. De BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB is alleen geschikt voor het regelen van
zonnemodules. Sluit nooit een andere oplaadbron aan op de BlueSolar Charge
Controller.

4. LCD-SCHERM en INSTELLINGEN
4.1 Monitoring en instellingen
Waarden tussen [ ] zijn voor 24V-accu-instellingen
Opstartscherm. Na het aansluiten van de accu zal het
scherm het model zonnelader en de systeemspanning zoals
herkend door de zonnelader weergeven.

Druk op MENU om naar het volgende scherm te gaan.
MENU：door lang ingedrukt te houden schakelt u tussen verschillende
beeldschermen of kunt u toegang krijgen tot de instellingen of deze verlaten.
OMHOOG: druk in om de instellingen te wijzigen in de instellingsmodus.
OMLAAG: druk om de instellingen te wijzigen in de instelmodus.

Hoofdscherm: spanning accu1, accustatus, laadstatus.
Als pijl knippert is de acculader ingesteld op
druppellaadspanning.
Als de pijl uitstaat: geen zonne-energie beschikbaar.
Druk op MENU om naar het volgende scherm te gaan.
Wijzig de instellingen in
het hoofdscherm.
Druk gedurende enkele
seconden op de knop
MENU totdat het
scherm knippert. U bent
nu in:
Instelling accutype.
Zie onderstaande tabel.
De fabrieksinstelling is b01
Druk nogmaals op de
knop MENU en u
bent nu in:
Laadverhouding van Accu 1
Stroomverhouding tot accu1
20 % betekent 20 % van de
beschikbare stroom naar accu 1 en
80 % naar Accu2 tijdens de
bulklaadfase.
De fabrieksinstelling is 50 %
Let op: Gedurende de normale laadstatus deelt de regelaar het opladen volgens de
ingestelde waarden. Wanneer accu #1 volledig is opgeladen, gaat er meer laadstroom
naar accu #2.
Wanneer de regelaar detecteert dat alleen accu #1 is aangesloten, gaat alle laadstroom
automatisch naar de accu #1.

Accu2-scherm: spanning accu2, accustatus, laadstatus.
Druk op MENU om naar het volgende scherm te gaan.
PV-spanningsscherm: PV-spanning en de laadstatus van de
accu's.
Druk op MENU om naar het volgende scherm te gaan.
Laadstroomscherm: Totaal PV naar accustroom 1 & 2 en de
laadstatus van de accu.
Als pijl knippert is de acculader ingesteld op druppellaadspanning.
Druk op MENU om naar het volgende scherm te gaan.
USB-spanningsscherm: USB-spanning

Druk op MENU om naar het volgende scherm te gaan.
Interne temperatuurregelaar. Als de BlueSolar PWM
DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB opwarmt wanneer in werking is, zal
het uitschakelen en zal het wachten totdat de temperatuur weer
tot een normaal niveau is gedaald om vervolgens weer in te
schakelen.
Druk op MENU om naar het volgende scherm te gaan.
Temperatuur externe temperatuursensor. Als de externe
temperatuursensor is aangesloten, worden de accu-
absorptiesspanningen gecorrigeerd met -30 mV/°C voor 12 V en -
60 mV/°C voor 24 V
Zonder sensor is de temperatuur 25 °C
Druk op MENU om naar het hoofdscherm te gaan.
Sluit de sensor aan op de BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A
voor gebruik met externe temperatuursensor.

5. Alarmen
Hoge temperatuur
Bij temperaturen van ≥ 85 ℃zal de BlueSolar PWM
DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USBde PV-ingangsstroom verlagen om
de temperatuur te verlagen. Er wordt geen alarmmelding op het
LCD-scherm weergegeven.
Bij temperaturen van >90 ℃zal de PV-ingangsstroom van de
BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB worden
teruggebracht tot nul en zal de pictogram voor een te hoge
temperatuur worden weergegeven op het LCD-scherm. Nadat
de temperatuur is gedaald tot minder dan 82 ℃, zal de
BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB zijn normale
werking hervatten.

1. Consignes générales
La gamme de chargeurs BlueSolar PWM DUO 12 V|24 V|20 A LCD-USB utilise le
contrôle de tension de charge par « Pulse Width Modulation » (PWM - Modulation de
largeur d'impulsions) allié à un algorithme de contrôle de charge en plusieurs étapes.
Cela permet d'obtenir une capacité de charge supérieure et d'améliorer le rendement de
la batterie. Le système de contrôle de puissance PWM filtré utilise des transistors de
puissance MOSFET hautement efficaces et fiables.
2. Caractéristiques
•Trois étapes de charge de batterie (Bulk – absorption – Float).
•Sonde de température externe incluse
•2 Sorties de batterie pour 2 batteries séparées.
•Type de batterie : au plomb et LiFePO4
•Protection contre la connexion en polarité inversée des panneaux solaires
et/ou de la batterie
•Sortie USB permettant de recharger des téléphones ou des tablettes
•Protection contre les variations de température.
3. Installation
IMPORTANT
•Toujours connecter la batterie 1 en premier, afin que le contrôleur
puisse reconnaitre la tension du système.
•Utiliser un champ de panneaux solaires de 12 V (36 cellules) pour
un système de 12 V.
•Utiliser un champ de panneaux solaires de 24 V (72 cellules) pour
un système de 24 V.
Remarque importante : toujours connecter la batterie 1 en premier.

1. Connectez la batterie 1 – pôle positif et négatif.
2. Connectez la batterie 2 – pôle positif et négatif.
3. Connectez le champ de panneaux solaires – pôle positif et négatif.
Pour désinstaller, veuillez suivre les étapes en sens inverse.
Un ordre de connexion incorrect peut endommager le BlueSolar PWM
DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB !
1. Assurez-vous que votre batterie 1 est chargée afin que le contrôleur de charge BlueSolar
PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB reconnaisse le type de batterie avant la première
installation.
2. Les câbles de batterie doivent être les plus courts possibles pour réduire les pertes.
3. Le contrôleur de charge BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB n'est conçu que
pour les batteries au plomb ou LiFePO4.
4. Le contrôleur de charge BlueSolar PWM DUO 12V|24V|20A LCD-USB n'est conçu que
pour réguler des modules solaires. Ne jamais connecter une autre source de charge au
contrôleur de charge BlueSolar.
