Install New Apps
After Parent Login, you may install new apps
either by downloading from any app store or by
inserting a MicroSD card. When installing from
a MicroSD card, follow the same direction as for
installing VINCI Curriculum apps.
Parent Mode
• Press the Menu button and enter password
“MyVINCI” (case sensitive). The password
can be changed only on VINCI Tab M
models running Android 4 or higher.

Getting Started
Your VINCI Tab M is ready to enjoy. Turn on,
unlock and explore
• Press the power button to go in and out of
sleep mode
• Press and hold the power button for more
than 5 seconds to reset
• Press the Menu button to access ANDROIDTM
settings

Installing VINCI Curriculum SD Cards:
• Insert the Curriculum MicroSD Card directly
into the VINCI Tab M, gold PINs facing up.
• Login to Parent Mode, open “ASTRO”
and go to external SD card:
/mnt/sdcard/tashforAndroid2.3;/mnt/sdcard/
ext_sd for Android 4.0
• Tap on CPInstaller (Curriculum Pack Installer)
and follow the prompt to install.
• If you already have CPInstaller installed,
delete the old version and install the new
version upon prompt.
• All VINCI Curriculum apps are placed
automatically under the appropriate VINCI
Curriculum icon on the Home screen.
Charging
• Connect the USB cable to the USB connector
with the arrow on the Cable facing the screen
• Do not bend the connector as it may damage
or cause device malfunction.
• Connect the other end of the cable to the
charger or to your PC. It takes about 4 hours
to reach a full charge.
Transfer Media Files
You can turn on USB mode when plugging
your VINCI Tab M into your PC. Using
WindowsExploreroranyleexplorerto
viewandexchangemediales.
Warning: Please do NOT change original
folder structure under /mnt/sdcard/. Copy
yourmedialesintocorrespondingfolders
instead.Forexample,musicmp3lesunder
Music,videoMP4lesunderMovie.

View Pictures or Videos
On VINCI Tab desktop, locate Gallery.
Itwilldisplayallthemedialesincluding
picturesandvideos.Taponamedialetoenjoy.

• Make sure the MicroUSB connecter is
positioned correctly
• Do not use liquids, chemicals or detergents
to clean your VINCI Tab M. Only use a dry,
lint-free cloth
• The inside of your VINCI Tab M contains
fragile components. Do not twist, disassemble,
drop from a high place, in water, or onto a
hard surface, and avoid extreme heat.
