Use the included large Allen wrench to loosen the bolts from
the bottom of the handlebar. Use the included small Allen
wrench to loosen the bolt on the front of the handlebar.
Use scissors (not included) to carefully remove the zip ties
that attach the cables to the handlebar. Do not cut the brake
cable or electronic wire.
Use an Allen wrench to remove the screw from the brake.
Push up rmly on the brake to remove the handlebar grip
and slide the brake o of the handlebar.
Remove the handlebar.
Use an Allen wrench to remove the screw from the throttle.

IMPORTANT: An ADULT must make all repairs. Thoroughly inspect all parts after making modications. DO NOT RIDE until
you are sure the proper repairs have been made and the unit is assembled according to the manufacturer’s specications.

Push up rmly on the throttle to remove the handlebar grip
and slide the throttle o of the handlebar.
Take the new handlebar and slide on the throttle. Then, slide
the new grip all the way onto the handlebar.
Place the handlebar back onto the scooter. Align the front
screw with the opening on the scooter and tighten it with
the small Allen wrench. Then, tighten the remaining two
screws with the large Allen wrench.
Use zip ties to secure the cables to the handlebar. If
necessary, trim the tail of the zip ties once secured.
Replace the throttle screw, and tighten it with an Allen
wrench. The button on the throttle should face the deck.
Do not fully tighten to leave room for adjustment.
Replace the brake screw, and tighten it with an Allen wrench.
The brake should face outward, away from the deck.
Do not fully tighten to leave room for adjustment.

On the opposite side of the handle, slide on the brake. Then,
slide the new grip all the way onto the handlebar.

Adjust the brake and throttle by twisting to the desired
position. Then, tighten rmly with an Allen wrench.
