temperatura puedenseratribuidasa actividades físicascomo elejercicio, fumar, comero beber. Dependetambiéndela
hora deldía, la temperatura es másbaja porla mañana queporla tarde.Otrasvariaciones puedenserdebidasallugar
elegido para la lectura dela temperatura.Mientrasquela temperatura oralsigueloscriteriosanteriormentedescritos, la
temperatura rectalsueleser0,5ºC/1,0ºF mayor. Porelcontrario, una temperatura axilar(debajo delbrazo)será

COMOTOMAR LATEMPERATURA
1. Pulse brevesobreelbotónON/OFF para encendero apagareltermómetro.Emitirá un pitido y la pantalla mostrará
durante1segundo con retroiluminación azul.
2. Acontinuación mostrará la última temperatura tomada con luz defondo azulapagada.
3. Traselencendido y comprobación, la pantalla LCDmostrará "Lo"y Cºo Fº deforma intermitentey escuchará “MIDALA
TEMPERATURA”.Entoncescomenzará a medir la temperatura.Pasadosalgo másde8segundosla medición finalizará y
escuchará la temperatura porelaltavoz deltermómetro (sila voz está habilitada).
4. Si desea realizarotra medición, apaguey vuelva a encendereltermómetro denuevo.Estetermómetro tienelafunción
deauto desconexión y trasunos5minutos(±60 segundos)seapagará.Tambiénpuedepulsarla tecla ON/OFF para
apagarlo directamente, oirá elpitido dedesconexión.
5. Para desactivarla voz deltermómetro, estando eltermómetro apagado, mantenga presionada la tecla ON/OFFdurante
unos4segundoshasta queaparezca enpantalla "ON"o “OFF”, enese momento con una brevepulsación delbotón
ON/OFF podrá seleccionar"°ON"(activación delaudio)o "OFF"(desconexión delaudio). Para restablecerelaudio proceda
delmismo modo.
6. Para cambiara ºCo ºF , estando eltermómetro apagado, mantenga presionada la teclaON/OFF duranteunos8
segundoshasta queaparezcaenpantalla "---ºC" o "---ºF".En ese momento, con una brevepulsación delbotónON/OFF
podrá seleccionar"ºC"o "ºF".
Despuésdecualquiera deestosajustes, eldispositivoentrará enmodo demedición automáticamente.
NOTA:sieltermómetro detecta cualquierproblema mostrará enpantalla "Err"almismo tiempo queseescuchará "Error,
porfavor, mida otra vez".Acontinuación la pantalla mostrará luz defondo roja y después de60 segundos(±10segundos),
se apagará automáticamente.Nota:no hay avisosaudiblescuando se ha desactivado la voz.
Este termómetro estáespecialmente recomendado paratomarlatemperaturaoralo rectal.
CAMBIO DEPILAS
Debesustituir laspilas, cuando aparezca enellado derechodela pantalla elsímbolo
(3 unidades depila botónAG13 o LR44 de1,5V.)
Para sustituir la pila:
Deslicehacia ellado la cubierta para accedera laspilasy extraerlas.
Insertelaspilasnuevascon ellado positivo (lado plano másancho)hacia arriba antes devolvera
colocarla cubierta

LIMPIEZADELTERMÓMETRO
Estetermómetro es impermeablesolamenteenla punta desonda.
Antes decada uso, limpieeltermómetro con un paño suave.Puedeutilizaralcoholdiluido con agua o agua jabonosa fría.
No puedeseresterilizado porebullición, gaso autoclave.

Intended Use
The digital thermometers are intended for the measurement and monitoring of human body temperature by doctor or consumers in the hospital orat home.
Whatisa “ Normal” temperature?
Although the generally accepted “ normal ” temperature reading is 37.0 C/98.6 F, temperaturereadings can vary from 36.1 C/97.0 Fto 37.2 C/99.0 F and still may
be considered “normal ”. Variations in temperature canbe attributed to activities such as exercise, smoking, eatingand drinking. Your temperature is lower in
the morning than in the afternoon. Other variations may be due to the location of the temperature reading. While the oral temperature follows the guidelines
previously described, a rectal temperature is generally 0.5 C /1.0 Fhigher. Conversely, an axillary (under the arm) temperature will be 0.5 C /1.0 Flower.

How to takeyourtemperature
1. Press ON/OFF button to activate. The unit willbeep anddisplay 1 second with blue backlight .
2. Then, the temperature taken last time will be displayed with blue backlight.
You will hear “ please measure ” after 2seconds the device will check itself anddisplay “ Err ” if any problemoccurs. At the sametimeit will speak ” Error, please
measure again! ”, then red backlight display, after 60 seconds (±10seconds), it will power off automatically. Note: For no voicemodelit won’t speak any word.
3. If self-checking result is normal LCD will display ” Lo ” and C or F willblink. Thenyou can start to measure, after about 8seconds measuringis completed, C or F stop
blinking.
4. If you want to continue measuring, turn off the thermometer and then activate again. It will power offafter no use for about5 minutes (±60seconds). You can also press
ON/OFF key to shut off directly with a beep.
5 .On power off condition, hold pressing ON/OFF key for about 4 seconds till “ON” display, then release. Press ON/OFF key again can switch voice to ON orOFF function if
the model is withvoice function.
6. On power off condition, hold pressing ON/OFF key for about 8 seconds till “--- C ” or “--- F ” display then release and pressON/OFF key again to switch to “ C ” or “ F ”.
After that setting is done, the device will enter measuring mode automatically.
OralorRectalposition isrecommended to takeaccuratetemperature with thisthermometermore than underarmposition.
Replacingthebattery
The battery in your digital thermometer needs to be replaced when ” appearsin the lower rightcorner of the display. Replace it with AG13 or LR44 battery
(1.5V X 3)
To replace the battery,
1. Push the battery cover toopen.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Insert the newbattery with the positive (+) side facing up.
4. Close the battery cover.
Warning:Please properlyplacethebattery awayfromsmall children and heat.
Cleaningyourdigitalthermometer
This thermometer is waterproof on probe tip portion only. Before or after each using, clean the thermometer with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol diluted with water, or
wash with COLD soapy water. Do not sterilize by boiling method, gas or steamautoclaves.
Precautions:
1. The thermometer should only be used under the supervision of an adult. It is not a toy for children. Please keepit out of children.
2. Do not walk, run or talk during temperature taking.
3. Store the unit in the protective case when not in use.
4. Do not store the unit where it will be exposed to direct sunlight, dustor humidity.Avoidextreme temperatures.
5. Dropping or subjecting your thermometer to strong shocks should be avoided.
6. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit, except to replace the battery.
