VIVREAU BOTTLING SYSTEM
COMMISSIONING INSTRUCTIONS
Confirm that the proper services are available. The water supply must bea ½”water line with
a½” threaded ball valve female end. Anything smaller than ½”is not acceptable andshould
never be used. The electrical outlet must be within the range of thepower cord ofthe
machine, extension cords should never beused. CO2is also provided bythe customer in
either a tank or with a line from a bulk orremote system. Ifconnecting to anexisting system
the customer must provide a ¼” barbed shutoff within 40” ofthe installation.
If any of the required services are missing/incorrect or if you have any questions regarding
the commissioning instructions, please call 877-999-1044 option #5, and someone from our
Tech Support Team will provide further instructions.
Open equipment packaging and inspect fordamage. Make sure the legs are level, adjust if
necessary. If anything is damaged ormissing call the Vivreau service number and report the
missing or damaged parts.
Locate the installation instructions andchecklist, confirm all parts are included using the
installation parts diagram included with the paperwork.
Make the connections atthe customer water supply, check valve and filter head, but do not
connect tothe back of the machine yet. The filter head can be mounted ona wall oronto the
back of the machine.
Remove the rear water bath access plug. Place the drip tray upside down on the counter to
prop up the front legs. Slowly fill the water bath using the water supply line. Once full level
the machine and replace the plug.
Connect the water supply tothe back ofthe machine and secure with a red clip.
Connect the CO2tank orthe customer supplied CO2line tothe provided CO2regulator and
set pressure asper instructions. Ifconnecting tobulk CO2or an existing system make sure
the customer has provided the CO2line with the ¼” barbed shutoff. The general setting for
CO2is between 65and 70PSI. Connect the regulator tothe rear of themachine and secure
with a red clip.

Always wear safety glasses when handling the sanitizing solution. Place donot use sign on
the system. Make sure the “Do Not Use Sign” isdisplayed throughout the entire sanitation
process.
Fill sanitizing cartridge with 2 ml ofsanitizing solution and fit sanitizing cartridge into head.
Turn water supply on.
Slowly open the still tap and dispense water just until you see sanitizer, this will ensure that
sanitizer has filledthe entire still line.
Plug inthepower cord, turn onthe power and let the carbonator cycle. Turn the power off
again. Open sparkling tap just until sanitizing solution is dispensed. Leave sanitizing solution
in thelines for10 minutes.
While the sanitizer is working remove anyprotective plastic andrecord the system serial
number on the Vivreau checklist. Check all water connections for leaks.
When the sanitizing time has elapsed, turn the main water off and drain the still tap until
the water stops.
Remove sanitizing cartridge andfit new filter. Turn main water back onandopen still tap
and dispense atleast 20liters of still water or until the water is clear and freeof any
sanitizing solution.
Open sparkling tap anddispense sparkling water until onlyCO2gas isdispensed, close tap.
Turn power back on andallow time forcarbonator tofill and turn power back off. Repeat
this step 3 at least times andmake sure water is clear and freeofsanitizing solution.
Confirm that the water is chilling.
The sparkling water should pour at 20seconds per liter; adjust if necessary at the sparkling
flow regulator located behind the sparkling tap. Ifneeded remove thetop cover to access
the sparkling flowregulator.
Before putting the system into service taste test both still and sparkling water.
The “Do not use” sign can now be removed.
Make sure to completely fill out the Vivreau Installation Checklist recording all information
needed, including the serial number and accurate system location.
