Thanks for purchasing our Vlectro VL-AT professional alcohol tester, please study this
manual carefully before using.
The VL-AT personal breathalyzer, is a hand held professional personal use
semiconductor type alcohol analyzer with LCD digital display.

◆Key parameters such as sampling analysis, test accuracy and display range designed
according to the EN 16280 standard, which drafted and officially adopted by the
European Union in the field of breath alcohol testing devices used by the general public
in the year of 2012.

◼Operation Instruction
Read the instructions carefully before use.
1. How to use
Rinse your mouth with water before using.
Avoid smoking or drinking alcohol for at least 20 minutes before using.

⚫Insert 2 x 1.5V alkaline batteries (AAA) into the battery compartment.
3. Power ON/OFF
3.1 Power ON
After insert batteries, keep press key for 2,5s until device with “di-di” voice warning,
then device enter into the warm-up mode, interface show as following picture

3.2 Power OFF
Under warm-up and Heating state, keep press for 2,5s, the device will power off;
When the result is displayed, without any key operation within 60s, device will power off
automatically.

4. Formal Test
4.1 Intelligent self-checking
Turn on the device, will enter into the warm-up state automatically, to reset the sensor
into a better working state, interface as following picture

4.2 Wait for preheating
After warm-up, will enter into heating mode to active the warming of sensor, countdown
19s (19-00), to make sensor work better and more sensitive.

➢Tips: Alarm level setting
Under self-checking and preheating state, double press button to enter alarm level
setting mode. Short press the button again to select alarm level as b2,b3,b5,b8, after
setted, waiting for 2 seconds, device will enter into test mode automatically.
b2: Means alarm level as 0.20‰BAC(=0.020%BAC or 0.100mg/L)
b3: Means alarm level as 0.30‰BAC(=0.030%BAC or 0.150mg/L)
b5: Means alarm level as 0.50‰BAC(=0.050%BAC or 0.250mg/L)
b8: Means alarm level as 0.80‰BAC(=0.080%BAC or 0.400mg/L)
4.3 Blow test
After 19s of heating, when the “blow” flashes, the instrument can be breath tested by the
mouthpiece. Press the ON/OFF button one time when starting the breath test, the
instrument is officially sampled. “bLo” flashes for about 25 seconds ,Please carry out the
measurement within this period.

Blow continuously through the mouthpiece for about 5 seconds, a long beep tone sounds
continuously while blowing. Only stop blowing until the beep tone stops together with
dynamic progress bar full displayed. Two short “di-di”sounds will be heard when the
sample is being taken successfully, test result will be displayed accordingly.

Device will power off automatically, when user fails to start the blowing test within 25s.

◆Under test reading interface, can press key to re-test, or device will power off
automatically if there’s no any operation within 60 seconds.
◆Under test reading interface, keep press key to switch units between mg/L,‰,%,
next test reading will show with this re-setted unit
4.4 Test result show
If the test result exceeds the alert level, the alarm indicator light turns on red and flashes
10 times together with “di-di” sound prompt.
While test result lower than alarm level, the alert indicator light turns on green.
The reading range is 0.00‰BAC -2.00‰BAC.
“2.00‰BAC”will be shown if the reading is higher than 2.00‰BAC.

“0.00‰BAC” will be shown if the reading is lower than 0.05‰BAC.
◼Low battery detection
This device using 2 * 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries, if the batteries are low, “Lob”and the
battery symbol in the upper right corner flashes 10 times together with “di-di”sound
prompt to remind that need to replace new batteries, then device power off automatically.
Please replace new batteries for normal use.

◼Maintenance
◆Keep the device (especially the blow hole of the device) away from organic solvents
(such as alcohol, etc.) while cleaning the surface of instrument.
◆Don’t let alcohol or any other liquid enter into the device, or it will cause permanent
damage to the sensor.

◆Store the device in right packing box, avoid exposure to sunlight and humidity.
◼Precautions
◆During the breath sampling, do NOT block the outlet to avoid a inaccurate test result.
◆Many factors (e.g. environment gas residue, smoke & various smell in human mouth,
etc…) may affect the Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) level, so the Readings are For
Reference Only.
◆Tolerance to alcohol varies from one person to another, and can be affected by such
factors as genetics, constitution, gender, percentage of body fat, adaptation to chronic
alcohol use, and synergistic effects of drugs. same amount of alcohol, different person
the Blood Alcohol Content maybe different, so the test result may be different. As there’s
a absorption and digestion progress of human’s blood alcohol content after drinking,
your blood alcohol content (BAC) may change within minutes.
◼Important notes
◆The frequency of use and test concentration of device, will affect the sensitivity and life
of the sensor. The more frequently used and higher alcohol concentration tested, sensor
sensitivity will be reduced and service life will be shortened.
◆Test results for reference only, do not use this device to determine if you can drive or not.
◆The test results may be inadmissible in court.
◆Please bear in mind that this device is designed to measure your blood alcohol
concentration/content(BAC),not to estimate how much alcohol you have drunk.
◆For the health and safety of you and others, please don’t drive after drink.

handleiding aandachtig door voor het gebruik.
De VL-AT persoonlijke blaastest, is een handbediende professionele alcoholanalyzer
voor persoonlijk gebruik met LCD digitale display.
◼Menselijk veilig hightech ontwerp
◆Belangrijke parameters zoals de analyse van de bemonstering, de nauwkeurigheid van
de tests en het weergavebereik, ontworpen volgens de EN 16280-norm, die door de
Europese Unie is opgesteld en officieel is goedgekeurd op het gebied van testapparatuur
voor alcoholische dranken die door het publiek sinds 2012 wordt gebruikt.

◼Gebruiksaanwijzing
Lees de instructies voor gebruik aandachtig door.
1. Hoe te gebruiken
Spoel uw mond met water voor gebruik.
Vermijd roken of het drinken van alcohol gedurende ten minste 20 minuten voor gebruik.

⚫Plaats 2 x 1,5V alkalinebatterijen (AAA) in het batterijvak.
3. AAN/UIT
3.1 AAN
Blijf na het plaatsen van de batterijen drukken op toets voor 2,5s totdat het apparaat
met "di-di" stemwaarschuwing, dan het apparaat in de opwarmmodus, de interface tonen
als volgt afbeelding

3.2 UIT
Onder warming-up en Verwarmingstand, houd 2,5s ingedrukt, het apparaat wordt
uitgeschakeld;
Wanneer het resultaat wordt weergegeven, zonder enige toetsbediening binnen 60s,
schakelt het apparaat automatisch uit.

4. Formele test
4.1 Intelligente zelfcontrole
Zet het apparaat aan, zal in de opwarmingstoestand automatisch aangaan, om de sensor
in een betere werkende staat, interface terug te stellen zoals volgend beeld

4.2 Wachten op voorverwarming

Vlectro VL-AT
Na het opwarmen, zal in de verwarmingsmodus gaan om de opwarming van de sensor te
activeren, aftellen 19s (19-00), om de sensor beter en gevoeliger te laten werken.

➢Tips: Instelling van het alarmniveau
Onder autocontrole en voorverwarmingstoestand, druk twee keer op toets om de
instelmodus voor het alarmniveau te openen. Druk kort opnieuw op de toets om het
alarmniveau te selecteren als b2,b3,b5,b8, nadat het is ingesteld, wacht 2 seconden, het
apparaat gaat automatisch over in de testmodus.
b2: Betekent alarmniveau als 0.20‰BAC(=0.020%BAC of 0.100mg/L)
b3: Betekent alarmniveau als 0.30‰BAC(=0.030%BAC of 0.150mg/L)
b5: Betekent alarmniveau als 0.50‰BAC(=0.050%BAC of 0.250mg/L)
b8: Betekent alarmniveau als 0.80‰BAC(=0.080%BAC of 0.400mg/L)
4.3 Blaastest
Na 19s verwarmen, wanneer "BLOW" knippert, kan het instrument door het mondstuk de
adem testen. Druk één keer op de AAN/UIT knop bij het starten van de ademtest, het
instrument wordt officieel bemonsterd. "BLOW" knippert ongeveer 25 seconden, voer de
meting binnen deze periode uit.
Blaas continu door het mondstuk gedurende ongeveer 5 seconden, een lange pieptoon
klinkt continu tijdens het blazen. Stop alleen met blazen totdat de pieptoon stopt en de

dynamische voortgangsbalk volledig wordt weergegeven. Twee korte "di-di"-geluiden zijn
te horen wanneer het monster met succes wordt genomen, het testresultaat wordt
overeenkomstig weergegeven.

Het apparaat wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld wanneer de gebruiker er niet in slaagt om
de blaasproef binnen 25 seconden te starten.

◆Onder de interface van de testlezing, kan drukken op toets om opnieuw te testen, of
het apparaat zal automatisch uitschakelen als er geen verrichting binnen 60 seconden
is.
◆Onder de interface van de testlezing, druk op toets om eenheden tussen mg/L,‰,% te
schakelen, zal de volgende testlezing met deze geresette eenheid tonen.
4.4 Testresultaat tonen
Als het testresultaat het waarschuwingsniveau overschrijdt, gaat het
waarschuwingslampje rood branden en knippert het 10 keer samen met “di-di”
geluidsmelding.
Terwijl het testresultaat lager is dan het alarmniveau, gaat het waarschuwingslampje
groen branden.

Het meetbereik is 0.00‰BAC -2.00‰BAC.
“2.00‰BAC” zal worden getoond als de waarde hoger is dan 2.00‰BAC.
“0.00‰BAC” zal worden getoond als de waarde lager is dan 0.05‰BAC.
◼Lage batterij meting
Dit apparaat gebruikt 2 * 1,5V AAA alkaline batterijen, als de batterijen bijna leeg zijn,
"Lob" en het batterijsymbool in de rechterbovenhoek knippert 10 keer samen met "di-di"
geluidsmelding om te herinneren dat er nieuwe batterijen moeten worden vervangen, dan
wordt het apparaat automatisch uitgeschakeld.
Gelieve nieuwe batterijen te vervangen voor normaal gebruik.
Batterij bijna leeg
Waarschuwing
Als de batterij bijna leeg is, kan het apparaat niet normaal werken, moet
het nieuwe batterijen vervangen, anders wordt het niet ingeschakeld.

◼Onderhoud
◆Houd het apparaat (vooral het blaasgat van het apparaat) uit de buurt van organische
oplosmiddelen (zoals alcohol, enz.) terwijl u het oppervlak van het instrument reinigt.
◆Laat geen alcohol of een andere vloeistof in het apparaat komen, anders veroorzaakt dit
blijvende schade aan de sensor.
◆Bewaar het apparaat in de juiste verpakkingsdoos, vermijd blootstelling aan zonlicht en
vocht.
◼Voorzorgsmaatregelen
◆Blokkeer de uitlaat NIET tijdens de ademtesten om een onnauwkeurig testresultaat te
voorkomen.
◆Veel factoren (bijv. omgevingsgasresidu, rook en verschillende geuren in de menselijke
mond, enz...) kunnen het niveau van de Bloedalcoholconcentratie (BAC) beïnvloeden,
dus de metingen zijn alleen voor referentiedoeleinden.
◆Tolerantie voor alcohol varieert van persoon tot persoon, en kan worden beïnvloed door
factoren zoals genetica, grondwet, geslacht, percentage lichaamsvet, aanpassing aan
chronisch alcoholgebruik, en synergetische effecten van drugs. dezelfde hoeveelheid
alcohol, verschillende persoon het bloedalcoholgehalte misschien anders, dus het
testresultaat kan verschillend zijn. Aangezien er een absorptie- en verteringsvooruitgang
is van het menselijk bloedalcoholgehalte na het drinken, kan uw bloedalcoholgehalte
(BAC) binnen enkele minuten veranderen.
◼Belangrijke opmerkingen
◆De gebruiksfrequentie en de testconcentratie van het apparaat zullen de gevoeligheid
en de levensduur van de sensor beïnvloeden. De vaker gebruikte en hogere geteste
alcoholconcentratie, zal de sensorgevoeligheid worden verminderd en de levensduur
worden verkort.
◆Testresultaten alleen ter referentie, gebruik dit apparaat niet om te bepalen of u kunt
rijden of niet.
◆De testresultaten kunnen mogelijk niet in de rechtbank worden gebruikt.
Houd er rekening mee dat dit apparaat is ontworpen om uw
bloedalcoholconcentratie/inhoud (BAC) te meten, niet om in te schatten hoeveel alcohol u
