To install or replace batteries
1. Remove the battery compartment cover (on the bottom of the appliance).
2. Insert 2 x 1.5V AAA batteries (not supplied), and ensure to follow polarity markings on the battery
compartment. Re-locate the battery compartment cover.
3. Position the appliance on a flat stable surface.
Note: It is important that the scale is level to ensure accuracy.

If the scale is with both unit systems of metric (kilograms, grams) and Imperial (pounds, ounces), press
“UNIT” to convert between two systems.

To Start Weighing:
1. Place the bowl included on the scale (if necessary).
2. Press “ON/OFF” to turn on. Wait until display shows “0”.
3. Load weighing object on the scale (or in the bowl) to start weighing. Display will show the weight
reading.
“ZERO” or “TARE” function
To weigh different loads consecutively without removing previous loads from the scale:
1. Put first Load on the scale and get weight reading.
2. Press “Z/T” button to reset the reading to “0” before adding next load. You can repeat this operation.
Condition 1: “ZERO” function
When total sum of all loads on scale is ≤4% of scale’s maximum weight capacity (4% here means 200g
with this scale), display will show “-----” or “0 g” each time “Z/T” button is pressed.
“-----” means reading is not stable. Please wait for a moment. “0 g” and meanwhile an icon “ZERO” on
the left side of display indicate ZERO function is activated. In this case, maximum weight capacity remains
unchanged.
Condition 2: “TARE” function
When total sum of all loads on scale is >4% of scale’s maximum weight capacity (4% here means 200g
with this scale), display will show “-----” or “0 g” each time “Z/T” button is pressed.
“-----” means reading is not stable. Please wait for a moment. “0 g” and meanwhile an icon “TARE” on the
left side of display indicate TARE function is activated. In this case, maximum weight capacity is reduced
by total weight of all loads.
Under this condition:
• By pressing “Z/T”, you can see the total weight of all loads on the scale.
• To weigh more loads, just press “Z/T” to reset reading to ‘0’ again.
To set the alarm timer
1. Press “ON/OFF” to turn on.
2. Press “T-SET” to enter alarm setting.
3. Press or to set the time span. Maximum time span: 99:59 (99 minutes and 59 seconds).
4. Press “T-SET” to confirm. The timer will start to count down.
Note: If desired, you can press any key to stop counting down, then press “T-SET”
to clear the timer setting.
5. The buzzer will sound when display counts down to “00:00”.
Ambient temperature indication
Ambient temperature will be shown on the right top zone of the display.

Shut off
Auto shut-off: Auto shut-off occurs if display shows ‘0’ or shows the same weight reading for 2 minutes.
Manual shut-off: To maximize battery life, always press “ON/OFF” to turn off the scale after use.
Warning indicators
Low battery.
Replace with new batteries.
Scale overloaded.
Remove items to avoid damage.
Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Clean the case with a damp cloth. Never immerse in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
• Remove the batteries if the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time.

Dispose of depleted batteries in accordance with local regulations, within the EC there
are nominated disposal points for batteries.

not be disposed of as household waste. To help prevent possible harm to human
health and/or the environment, the product must be disposed of in an approved and
environmentally safe recycling process. For further information on how to dispose of
this product correctly, contact the product supplier, or the local authority responsible for
