5v INSTRUCTIONS & OPERATION MANUAL
CHARGING THE 5v POWER BANK
Thank you for choosing your Volt heated product to help you stay warm.
As with any electrical device, it is important to follow instructions to avoid
damage to the product, yourself or your property. Failure to follow instructions
may cause overheating, re or injury. Please read product labels and all
instructions before using your Volt heated product.
Before using your 5v Volt heated product the Power Bank should be fully
charged. Please follow the instructions below on how to charge, use and
maintain your 5v Power Bank.
Remove 5v Power Bank(s) from packaging.
Use the provided USB cable and connect to an electrical adapter that
accepts a USB cable and plugs directly to a wall socket. It can also be
charged by connecting the Micro-USB end of the cable to the Micro-USB
port on the 5v Power Bank and the standard USB end of cable to a powered
ON computer’s USB port or any other USB source.
While charging, the 5v Power Bank’s blue LED’s will illuminate. Once it is
fully charged, all 4 blue LED lights will be illuminated. The 5v Power Bank
has a automatic shuto feature that will prevent it from overcharging.
Charging time can vary between 2-4 hours from a wall socket and longer
from a computer or other electrical device.
You can now disconnect the 5v Power Bank from power source.

NOTE: Before using your 5v Power Bank battery with your 5v Heated
Product be sure that it is compatible. Some 5v Volt Heated Products
require a 5v Power Bank with a 2.1 amp output.
Locate the USB plug on your product and connect it to the 5v Power Bank.
Press and hold down power control button on the product for 3 seconds.
It will light up and cycle from RED(high), to BLUE(medium), to GREEN(low)
and the back to RED(high). This is a warmup cycle that will take 5 minutes.
Once the 5 minute warmup cycle is complete the product will automatically
turn down to the BLUE(medium) setting. You can change the power level
setting at any time by pushing the power control button.
To turn o, press and hold down the power control button for 3 seconds or
disconnect the USB plug from the 5v Power Bank.

The 5v Power Bank has 4 blue LED lights to indicate power remaining status.
Four blue LED lights indicate the 5v Power Bank is fully charged, three lights

indicate 75% power remaining, two lights indicate 50% power remaining,
1 light indicates 25% power level remaining. A single ashing blue LED
indicates the 5v Power Bank is out of power and needs to be recharged.

Failure to charge 5v Power Bank prior to use can reduce battery life.
CHARGE 5v POWER BANK REGULARLY. Charge between each use and a
minimum of once every 3 months. It is important to maintain between
25% - 75% remaining power when not in use. Failure to do so will result in
performance problems and reduced battery life.
The 5v Power Bank battery life is 300+ cycles before it will diminish in
capacity output.
Lithium batteries provide a diminished capacity output in extreme cold
temperatures – keep batteries inside the 5v product to minimize the
impact and improve the performance.

WARNING: Before using your 5v Power Bank battery with your 5v
Heated Product be sure that it is compatible. Some 5v Volt Heated
Products require a 5v Power Bank with a 2.1 amp output.
WASH & CARE OF YOUR 5v PRODUCT
Remove battery from the product and put cover on USB plug connector. We
suggest placing the product in a pillow case or laundry bag for protection.
Wash in cold water with a mild detergent. After washing, put in the dryer on
tumble dry. Be sure sure the product and USB plug are completely dry before
using product.

WARNINGS & SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
When you purchase your Volt Heated product from H2C Brands, LLC, the
heating system is guaranteed for life. The external electrical components of
the product, the 5v Power Bank and USB charging cable are warranted for 90
days from the date of the initial purchase. Please contact us through
www.voltheat.com with any questions or warranty claims.
Volt 5v heated products are powered by a DC current and provide a safe, low
voltage heat output but caution should always be taken when using products.
Use carefully as it may cause serious burns. You must frequently check skin
exposed to the heating area to avoid burning. Never expose bare skin to the
heating area. Do not use over sensitive skin areas or in the presence of poor
circulation.
The FDA and CPSC recommend the following precautions to be taken to
avoid hazards associated with the use of electric heating pads. Individuals at
particular risk for heating pad injuries are:
NOTE: Volt 5v heated products are not meant to treat or mitigate any
medical condition and are designed to provide warmth and comfort
from the cold only. Although Volt 5v heated products are not traditional
electric heating pads they do have heating panels that provide heat
output and therefore the precautions below should be reviewed before
product use.

Infants, since the heating pad would cover a large area of their small
bodies. In addition, they may be unable to move when burned.
Persons who may be unable to feel pain to the skin because of advanced
age, diabetes, spinal cord injury, or medication.
Inspect heating unit before each use to assure it is in proper working order;
discard if it looks worn or cracked or if the electrical cord is frayed.
Keep removable cover on pad during use (when applicable).
Place heating pad on top of, and not underneath of, the body part in need
of heat. (The temperature of a heating pad increases if heat is trapped.)
Unplug heating pad when not in use.
Read and follow all manufacturer’s instructions on heating pad or on
outside package prior to use.
Use on an infant.
Use on a person who is paralyzed or has skin that is not sensitive to
temperature changes.
Use on a sleeping or unconscious person.
Use in an oxygen enriched environment or near equipment that stores or
emits oxygen.
Sit on or against a heating pad.
Crush or fold a heating pad during use or during storage.
Unplug heating pad by pulling its connecting cord.

Do not submerge product or 5v Power Bank into water while in use.
Do not cut, puncture or tear into the lining of the product.
Do not allow the 5v Power Bank to have contact with water or other
liquids. If water or liquids enter the 5v Power Bank interior, immediately
disconnect the product from the 5v Power Bank. Allow the 5v Power Bank
to dry completely before use.
Do not penetrate, strike, short-circuit or disassemble the 5v Power Bank –
there are no user serviceable parts inside.
Keep all electronic components of your product away from re and
extensive heat.
Do not store the 5v Power Bank in a high-temperature environment,
including heat caused by intense sunlight or other forms of heat.
Do not reverse polarity.
Do not leave product unattended while connected to 5v Power Bank.
Only use the USB charging cable included with your Volt 5v heated
product.
All 5v Power Banks have gone through quality-assurance inspection. If
you nd that your 5v Power Bank is excessively hot, is emitting odor, is
deformed, abraded, cut or is experiencing or demonstrating an abnormal
phenomenon, immediately stop all product use and contact Manufacturer.
The 5v Power Bank contains chemicals known to the state of a California to
cause cancer and birth defects or reproductive harm.

•The 5v Power Bank will generate heat while charging. Use it in well
ventilated area when charging.
If you experience any discomfort while using this product, remove it
immediately and consult your physician before resuming use.
The recommended power setting of low (Green) is sucient for indoor use at
temperatures between 50-64 degrees Fahrenheit. With lower temperatures
during outdoor use the power setting at Med/High (Blue) is sucient. It is not
recommended to use the High (RED) power setting indoors for a long period
of time (no more than 30 minutes) as it may cause overheating and bodily
discomfort.
