MANUAL
1 CONNECTING DIAS VT-500 TO YOUR TV
You can connect DIAS VT-500 to your TV:
1) by using an HDMI cab e or
2) with ana og cab e RCA.
Both types of cab es are inc uded in the package.
2 INTERNET CONNECTION
H Internet connection can be achieved in 2 ways:
1) Through WIFI Network:
Se ect from the home menu setting icon, wifi setting.
Here we can find a the avai ab e wifi networks and
connect. We must have the option to On.
2) Through Ethernet cab e:
You can automatica y connect DIAS VT-500 to an
existing Ethernet network just by p ugging in an
Ethernet cab e.
Note: DIAS VT-500 is DHCP enabled ie pre-set to
automatically et an IP address from the network you
are connected. If you set up your network in a different way, then
additional settin s re ardin network, can be found at the Apps
-> Settings menu.

2 APPLICATIONS
From the main menu se ect Apps.
Here you can find a the pre-
insta ed by VOLTE-TEL
app ications, as we as the ones
you' down oad.
4 CREATING A GOOGLE ACCOUNT
If you don't a ready have a Goog e account, you se ect Apps from
the main menu and open the browser app ication. At the address
bar write http://www.gmai .com. Then choose sign up and fi out
the on ine form. After comp eting the process you can access a
Goog e's services.
5 PLAY STORE
In order to have access to more than 800,000 apps
avai ab e for your device in P ay Store, you wi need to
enter your Goog e Account and you' be ab e to search
and down oad any free app ication you want. From the
same site you can a so buy an app ication that is not avai ab e for
free.
6 PLAY VIDEO
From the main menu, se ect Video. The next screen
shows the ist of video fi es avai ab e on the device*.

7 STREAMING
With DIAS VT-500 you can p ay a movie shown by a
remote computer, smartphone, aptop, tab et and you
can a so be the one who distributes videos to other
devices over a network. From the Apps menu, open lc. If
you want to connect to a streaming server eg desktop PC
in the bedroom, go to the upper right, se ect the icon with the dot
next to the magnifying g ass, and enter the IP address of the
remote computer. If you want to share, then se ect the option
stream and then se ect stream again.
8 PLAY MUSIC
From the main menu se ect Music. The next screen
shows the ist of music fi es - audio stored on the
device*.
9 BROWSING PHOTOS
From the main menu se ect Gallery. Here you wi find a
the avai ab e images. *Photos transfered via B uetooth
are a so stored here.
*NOTE: With the connection of any external stora e media that
contains video files, the list is automatically updated.

10 KARAOKE
At the Apps menu you wi find the app ication Videoke
King. Look for your favorite song and sing a ong with your
friends.
11 GAMES
From the P ay Store you can down oad and p ay games.
DIAS VT-500 supports up to 6 simu taneous y connected
gamepads / joysticks!
NOTE: The use of wired or wireless amepads / joysticks
in a ame must be supported by the ame itself. Several ames
are made for android environment, assume that the user has a
touchscreen. DIAS VT-500 comes preloaded with the platform
ame Meganoid which supports the use of amepad / joystick as
well.
12 SKYPE
You can find the app ication at the Apps menu. Use it to
make video ca s with other users of the service, taking
advantage of the embedded microphone and 2Mpixe
camera of DIAS VT-500.
13 IP CAMERA
DIAS VT-500 can be used as a security camera as we .
From the Apps menu, se ect IP Webcam app ication and
then se ect Start Ser er. You can now connect from any
other device, smartphone, tab et, aptop, desktop PC,

ocated in your network using a web browser, putting the address
given to you by IP Webcam app ication to your TV screen. You a so
have the abi ity to access IP Webcam from a these devices
outside oca network using the dyndns app ication which can be
found preinsta ed on the Apps menu.
14 OFFICE APPLICATIONS
You can write, edit and save text fi es (word),
spreadsheets fi es (exce ) and presentation fi es
(powerpoint) using the ThinkFree Office app ication
ocated in Apps menu. The app ication a so supports
on ine documents.
15 EMAIL'S MANAGEMENT
DIAS VT-500 a so gives you the abi ity to manage your
emai s. From the Apps menu se ect Email and enter the
information requested at the next screen. There is a so
the abi ity to automatica y synchronize your emai . This
can be done from the Apps menu, se ecting Settings,
Accounts and Sync and then Add Account. Here you can
synchronize mu tip e emai accounts.
16 PDF FILES
The use of pdf fi es is being supported through the
app ication Adobe Reader which can be found in Apps
menu.

17 DOWNLOADING FILES FROM THE INTERNET
You can down oad any fi es from the internet through
the app ication Browser or Opera (found in Apps
menu). DIAS VT-500 a so supports down oading of
torrent fi es through utorrent app ication (found in
Apps menu).
1 8 ACCESS DIAS VT-500 VIA WEB BROWSER
Fo ow the instructions on the app ication Airdroid (menu Apps)
that is pre-insta ed, to access DIAS VT-500 through Firefox,
Chrome or Internet Exp orer.
19 CONNECTING TO COMPUTER
Through the specific USB port and by using the
specia USB cab e inc uded in the package, you can
connect DIAS VT-500 to your computer and transfer
fi es.
Preparing the device for connection to PC: From the
main menu se ect Setting -> Ad ance Setting. At System tab
change the option usb settings. Then connect the cab e to your
computer.
ATTENTION: You have to restart DIAS VT-500 after disconnectin it
from the computer.
20 CONNECTING EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE
You can connect an externa hard drive or usb f ash drive to a USB
port and access the contents through Computer app ication or

Astro file manager that you wi find on the Apps menu. You can
a so transfer your favorite photos from your mobi e phone or
tab et to DIAS VT-500 by inserting micro SD memory card to the
bui t-in card reader ( ocated next to the power input).
21 FILE TRANSFER THROUGH BLUETOOTH
Thanks to the 3 different bui t-in B uetooth chip, DIAS VT-500
gives you the abi ity to:
1)transfer stereo sound eg connection with B uetooth headset /
handsfree
2)transfer any fi e from your mobi e phone or any other device
that supports fi e transfer via B uetooth eg tab et, aptop, etc.
3)connect B uetooth keyboard, mouse etc.
Se ect Setting -> Ad ance Setting -> Network -> Bluetooth and
then disco erable to make DIAS VT-500 traceab e from another
B uetooth device eg mobi e phone. Turn it on, search for DIAS VT-
500 and send the fi e
you want. A message

22 HOT SPOT – ROUTER OPERATION
You can share your connection to the internet via wifi*. Go to
Setting -> Ad ance Setting -> Network -> Portable hotspot and
activate it. From Configure
wi-fi hotspot, you can
change the name that wi
appear on the network
device , put password etc.
* DIAS VT-500 must be
connected with an
Ethernet cab e to your
router.
23 WIRELESS PRESENTATIONS
DIAS VT-500 gives you the abi ity to make
wire ess presentations on a TV screen or
projector direct y from your smartphone or
tab et. On the Apps menu there is the
MirrorOp Recei er app ication. In order to use
this app ication, MirrorOp Sender needs to
insta ed to your smartphone as we (avai ab e
for free at P ay Store). Start the app ication to DIAS VT-500 and do
the same with your smartphone. Given that both devices are
connected to wifi network, wi recognize each other and
whatever shows on your mobi e phone, wi be seen to the TV
screen.

ΕΓΧΕΙΡΙΔΙΟ ΧΡΗΣΗΣ
1 ΣΥΝΔΕΣΗ ΜΕ ΤΗΝ ΤΗΛΕΟΡΑΣΗ
Υπάρχει η δυνατότητα σύνδεσης του DIAS VT-500 και της
τηλεόρασής σας
1) με τη χρήση καλωδίου HDMI ή
2)με αναλογικό καλώδιο RCA.
Και οι δυο τύποι καλωδίων συμπεριλαμβάνονται στη
συσκευασία.
2 ΣΥΝΔΕΣΗ ΣΤΟ INTERNET
H σύνδεση στο διαδίκτυο μπορεί να επιτευχθεί με 2 τρόπους:
1)Μέσω δικτύου WIFI :
Επιλέγουμε από το αρχικό μενού το εικονίδιο setting,
wifi setting. Από εδώ έχοντας την επιλογή στο On,
μπορούμε να βρούμε όλα τα διαθέσιμα δίκτυα wifi και
να συνδεθούμε.
2)Μέσω καλωδίου Ethernet :
Συνδέοντας στο DIAS VT-500 ένα καλώδιο Ethernet
μπορούμε αυτόματα να συνδεθούμε σε ένα ήδη
υπάρχον δίκτυο Ethernet.
Σημείωση: Η συσκευή DIAS VT-500 είναι DHCP enabled
δηλαδή προ-ρυθμισμένη ώστε να παίρνει αυτόματα διεύθυνση
IP από το δίκτυο στο οποίο συνδέεται. Έαν έχετε στήσει το δίκτυο
σας με διαφορετικό τρόπο, τότε επιπλέον ρυθμίσεις που
αφορούν το δίκτυο, θα βρείτε στο μενού Apps -> Settings.
