1.0 SPECIFICATIONS:
Input: 120VAC, .2 amperes, 50/60 Hz
Output: 9VDC,.3amperes,regulatedoutputprotectedwith foldback currentlimiting
Enclosure: 10”highx10” wide x 4” deep hinged cover box, six (6) 1/2” knockouts total
onsides andback, (optionalkeylock available)
Battery Backup: Backup time - 12 hours at .3A (or 2 ALKs in alarm)
Battery- one (1) 1.2AH or 1.3AH leadacidbattery
Temperature: 0º to 120º F
2.0 MOUNTING:
For proper ventilation, power supply must be mounted upright in an area which allows free air circulation.
Mountwith appropriate hardware (screws orbolts)througheach of the four (4)mountingholesinthe rear
ofthe enclosure.
3.0 WIRING: (refer to FIGURE 1)
3.1 EnsureACbreakeris open before connectingAC power to the power supply.
3.2 Forallsupplyconnections,usewiressuitableforatleast90º C(194º F)temperature.
3.3 Inputconductors must be segregated from theoutputconductors,theymust not intermingle.
3.4 Connect the load to the DC OUTPUT terminals+(positive) and -(negative).
3.5 ConnectAC input to theAC input wires using insulated connectors.
Secure the field ground conductor under the chassis ground nut.
3.6 Close breaker to turn on the power supply, the red POWER ON LED should be illuminated.

4.0 BATTERY INSTALLATION:
The battery backup consists of one (1) 12V 1.2 or 1.3AH lead acid battery. Connect the red and black wires
to the battery, being careful to connect red to +(positive) and black to -(negative) terminals on the battery.
Place the battery in the bottom of the enclosure in an upright position only to complete the installation.
5.0 KEYLOCK:
The keylock option (PS9) consists of a one (1) piece lock with two (2) keys. Use the following installation
stepsto properly install thisoption.
5.1 Removethe keylock knockoutlocatedon theenclosuredoorwith ascrewdriver.
5.2 Rotatethekey fully clockwise in the lock theninsertthelockthroughthe knockout with the
locking lever pointing toward the right hand side of the door. Snap into place.
