2) Install lock into mortise cut-out as shown below.

1) Prep door as shown on door prep template page.
3) Apply interior escutcheon plate to interior face of door. Ensure that the spindle from the turn piece
engages the small diamond hub in the lock housing. Secure using the two # 6 slotted head screws
provided as shown below.

strongly recommended to ensure that the plate is properly installed. Secure the plate to the exterior
face using the two # 6 slotted screws provided as shown below.
4) Attach exterior escutcheon plate to exterior face of door. The use of the 9999 alignment tool is

escutcheon plate (note: the spindle may need to be cut to allow this). Secure the lever to the spindle
