getting to know your remote control
The diagram below describes each of the buttons on your remote control. Functions may vary according to the different
services. Please refer to the operating instructions of your box for descriptions of specic functions.
installing the batteries
Two AAA alkaline batteries are needed to operate the remote control. These batteries are already installed with a
protective lm to prevent the batteries from discharging too quickly. On the back of the remote control, remove the
protective lm protruding from the battery compartment to activate the remote control.
programming the remote control
The remote control will automatically operate in IR (infrared), which means that the remote control must be aimed directly
at the box up to a distance of 5 metres. The remote control can also operate in RF (radio frequency). This means that it
does not need to be aimed directly at the box.
Refer to the operating instructions of the .évasion box to pair your remote control with the television set, allowing you to
use a single remote to control your television set and your box.

automatic RF pairing
After inserting the batteries, put your box in ‘pairing mode’ by pressing the
remote control pairing button on the back of your box (remote pairing).
Then press ok on the remote control, which must be close to the box
(maximum 5 metres). The remote control will go into pairing mode. If the pairing
is successful, the LED ashes 3 times.
If the pairing fails, the LED ashes 5 times and you have to restart the pairing
process described above.
If after that, the remote control is still not paired with your box, the automatic
pairing remains active as long as you have not pressed a button 25 times
inarow.
To reactivate the RF automatic pairing, you have to reboot the remote control
byremoving the batteries, reinserting them and repeating the procedure.

Simultaneously press the red button and the be tv button for at
least 3 seconds. After 3 seconds, the LED will ash 3 times and then
stay on. Release the buttons.
Press the keys in the following order: VOL- / MUTE / VOL +.
TheLED turns off when the button is pressed and lights up when the
button is released. If no button is pressed within 20 seconds, the LED
ashes 5 times and the remote exits the RF pairing mode.
Once the RF pairing has been carried out, the LED on the remote
control ashes 3 times. The LED will turn off and the remote control
isin RF mode.
If the pairing is not successful, the LED ashes 5 times.
The remote control returns to its previous state, that is to say either
infrared mode or paired with the previous box.

This product contains disposable batteries. Please read the following warning, the instructions on battery safety and the
battery recycling instructions.
WARNING: There is a danger of explosion if the battery is handled carelessly or incorrectly replaced. Replace only
with the same type of battery. Do not disassemble or attempt to recharge it outside the system. Do not crush or puncture
the battery or dispose of it in re or short circuit it with external contacts and do not expose it to water or other liquids.
Dispose of the battery according to local regulations and instructions from your service provider.

- Insert the batteries correctly. There may be a risk of explosion if the batteries are inserted incorrectly.
- Do not attempt to recharge ‘disposable’ or ‘non-reusable’ batteries.
- Please follow the instructions for charging rechargeable batteries.
- Replace the batteries with the same or equivalent type.
- Do not expose batteries to excessive heat (such as sunlight or re).
- Do not expose the battery to temperatures above 100°C (212°F).

- Bring your old device to a VOO point of sale or a recycling centre.
- The batteries may contain substances that could be harmful to the environment.
