Connection:
Only an authorized specialist for electrical engineering is allowed to execute the connection 230 V (in
Germany according to VDE0100, Part 721 or IEC 60364-7-721).
Always switch off the 230 V power supply prior to connection of the residual current circuit breaker, and
never switch it on, before the installation is completed. Non-compliance results in danger to life!
Connection Cables:
Only use suitable PVC hose lines according to VDE 0281, part 5, or IEC 227 53 with a minimum cross-section of 3 x 2.5 mm².
Start-up:
As soon as the housing is firmly fastened, the cables have been connected and the upper housing is installed, the residual
current circuit breaker is ready for use. Execute a function test!
Function Test:
Press the yellow test button when the 230 V operating voltage is applied. The ON/OFF switch must release and go to the
lower tilt position. The power supply is interrupted and the ON/OFF display is green.
When switching the ON/OFF switch to upper position, the power supply will be reconnected and the ON/OFF display is
backlit in red. Execute the function test once a month!
Actuate the test button once a month! The switch must switch-off immediately.
