GAS RESTAURANT RANGE
SPECIFICATIONS:
48" wide gas restaurant range, Vulcan-Hart Model No. G481L.
Stainless steel front, sides, back riser, high shelf and 6"
adjustable legs. Fully enclosed bottom panel to prevent water
damage. Top: Eight 32,000 BTU/hr. (NAT or PRO) cast top
burners with lift-off burner heads. Burner system has center
pilot with high turn down ratio flame for simmering. Grates are
heavy duty cast, easy lift 12" x 12" front grate and 12" x 14"
back grate, porcelainized with built-in aeration bowl. Unit is
standard with a rapid clean stainless steel basin under the
cook top system and front mounted gas shut-off valve for top
burners. Burner knobs are large ergonomically designed high
temperature knobs. Oven: One 35,000 BTU/hr. standard oven
with porcelainized interiors that measure 241/2" d x 131/4" h x 26"
w. Oven liners are removable. Standard ovens come with
individual thermostats having a range from Low to 550°F.
One rack and two rack positions per oven. Oven doors are
heavy duty with no adjustment required integrated hinge/
spring door mechanism and cool touch handles. 31" rear gas
connection and pressure regulator. Total input 390,000 BTU/
hr.
Exterior dimensions: 48"w x 34"d x 57"h with back riser on 6"
adjustable legs. 36" working height.
CSA design certified. NSF approved.

ing.
■High temperature cool touch burner knobs.

OPTIONS
24" wide polished steel 3/4" griddle plate on the right. 15,000
BTU/hr. burner per 12" griddle width. Three position low-
medium-high thermostat control. One per burner. 3" wide
front mounted grease trough.
35,000 BTU/hr. convection oven in place of standard
oven. Interior measures 271/4" d x 111/2" h x 26" w. Thermo-
stat adjusts from Low to 550°F. Two oven racks and two
rack positions. 1/4H.P. blower motor, electrical rating 4.5
amps, 120/60/1 supplied with 7 ft. cord and plug.
Elevated broiler or cheesemelter.
11" or 23" stainless flue riser (shipped separate).
Set of four casters, two locking. (Not available with elevated
broiler or cheesemelter.) Casters shipped separate.
Second year extended limited parts and labor warranty.
ACCESSORIES
Extra oven rack.
Flexible gas hose with quick disconnect and restraining
device.

GAS RESTAURANT RANGE
IMPORTANT
1. A pressure regulator sized for this unit is included. Natural
gas 4.0" W.C., propane gas 10" W.C. manifold pressure.
2. This range is supplied with a 1" rear gas connection. For
maximum performance or where supply pipe lengths are
greater than 2 ft. long, we recommend a 1" supply line. If a
flexible connection is used, the connection must be rated
for the total gas input requirements of the range.
3. An adequate ventilation system is required for commercial
cooking equipment. Information may be obtained by writing
to the National Fire Protection Association, Batterymarch
Park, Quincy, MA 02289. When writing, refer to NFPA
No. 96.
4. Entry clearance for the G481L is 43" crated and 34"
uncrated. If necessary, the front ledge and oven door
handle may be removed by unscrewing 7 screws for a 30"
clearance.
