FA-CH1
USER MANUAL
UNIVERSAL CHARGER

Thank you for choosing Vulta.
The Vulta FA-CH1 Universal Charger is
the easiest way to charge the batteries in
your Vulta Blizzard FS-E45R or FS-B73R
flashlight. The FA-CH1 enables you to
charge your flashlight’s batteries without
removing them—all you have to do is plug
in the charger and drop in your flashlight.
An LED on the charging base indicates
charging status, so you know when
charging is complete. Once the batteries
are fully charged, the FA-CH1 automatically
switches to trickle charging in order to
avoid overcharging.
The FA-CH1 comes with an AC adapter
incorporating a universal input of 100 to
240 V AC for domestic or international use.
The included DC adapter lets you charge
your flashlight in your vehicle, and the
round charging base is designed to fit into
the cup holder of most cars, so you won’t
have to search for a place to store the
charging base when you’re on the road.

CHARGING YOUR VULTA FLASHLIGHT
Important! When charging via the Vulta FA-
CH1 Universal Charger, use only rechargeable
18650 batteries.
1. Use the appropriate charging cable to
connect the charging base to an available AC
or DC power source. When the charging base
is powered, the status LED will glow green,
blinking red approximately once every seven
seconds to indicate that it’s searching for a
flashlight to charge.
2. Place the entire flashlight containing
rechargeable 18650 batteries into the
charging base, making sure the charging
contacts touch. The status LED will glow red
to indicate charging.
When charging is complete, the status
LED will glow green and the FA-CH1 will
automatically switch to trickle charging.
Trickle charging maintains the batteries’ full
charge without damaging the flashlight or the
batteries, allowing you to safely leave your
flashlight in the charging base after charging
is complete.
