GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a
period of 24 months from date of purchase, excluding consumable items such as
cartridges, tubing or rollers.
Products out of guarantee period will be repaired for a nominal charge.
PUMP RETURNS
All returned pumps must be decontaminated before return and the Decontamination
Certificate included with these instructions must be returned before or with the pump
delivery.
For your protection items returned must be carefully packed to prevent damage in
transit and insured against loss.

Installation of this pump into other equipment must be in accordance with relevant
Directives/Standards and be carried out by a suitably competent person.

INSTALLATION
Pump should be installed by suitably qualified personnel.
Pump should be sited on stable horizontal surface.
Allow free flow of air around pump.
Tube to and from pipe should not be allowed to „kink‟.

FUSE REPLACEMENT
A Mains inlet is located on the Rear Panel incorporating twin mains fuses FS1 and FS2.
Under normal operating conditions these fuses should not require replacement. In the
event of fuse failure a replacement fuse should be fitted, its value as stated in the
specification. Qualified personnel should investigate repeated fuse failure.
U.K. only - The mains lead supplied with U.K. models incorporates a 3 pin 13 amp plug
fitted with a 5-amp fuse.
MAINTENANCE
Motor and Gearbox are lubricated for life and should not require attention. Rotor rollers
are self-lubricating. Should lubrication become necessary use Silicone grease on rollers
if noisy. If the motor gearbox should require lubrication authorized personnel should
carry this out.
Pump tubing will not last forever, establish suitable tube replacement schedule to
prevent inconvenient tube failure.

Decontamination Certificate
This form must be completed and sent to VWR before returning any pump for service, repair or any
other work. Failure to do so will result in delay in work completion or products being returned
untouched.
This procedure is mandatory for VWR to meet its obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act
1974 and its related regulations.
Pumps returned must be thoroughly cleaned.
You are responsible for decontamination.
Where products are returned in an unclean, contaminated state no work will be undertaken until full
Health & Safety data sheet for each substance with which the pump has been in contact and data
below completed, has been received at VWR.
VWR may reserve the right to return contaminated product to you at your account.
Form may be sent by fax, first class post or e-mail direct to VWR. A copy of the completed form must
also be attached to the outside of the product return packaging.

Dieses Produkt ist garantiert frei von Material- oder Verarbeitungsmängeln. Die Garantie dauert 24 Monate
vom Kaufdatum an, umfasst jedoch keine Verbrauchsmaterialien wie Patronen, Rohrsystem oder Rollen.
Außerhalb der Garantiezeit werden die Produkte zu einem festgelegten Preis repariert.
RÜCKSENDUNG DER PUMPE
Alle zurückgesendeten Pumpen müssen vor der Rücksendung dekontaminiert werden, und das in dieser
Anleitung enthaltene Dekontaminierungs-Zertifikat muss vor oder mit der Zustellung der Pumpe eingereicht
werden.
Zu Ihrem Schutz müssen zurückgesendete Produkte sorgfältig verpackt werden, um Transportschäden zu
vermeiden. Die Produkte müssen darüber hinaus gegen einen Schadensfall versichert sein.

Der Einbau der Pumpe in andere Ausrüstung muss gemäß den relevanten Richtlinien/Normen erfolgen und
von einer ausreichend qualifizierten Person durchgeführt werden.

INSTALLATION
Die Pumpe sollte von ausreichend qualifiziertem Personal installiert werden.
Die Pumpe sollte auf einer stabilen waagerechten Oberfläche aufgestellt werden.
Sorgen Sie für einen freien Luftstrom um die Pumpe herum.
Das Rohr von und zu der Pumpe darf nicht knicken.
ROHR-ERSATZ
Ein Netzanschluss befindet sich auf der Rückseite und beinhaltet ein Paar Netzsicherungen FS1 und FS2.
Bei normalem Betrieb müssen diese Sicherungen üblicherweise nicht ersetzt werden. Beim Versagen einer
Sicherung, sollte eine Ersatzsicherung eingeschraubt werden, die entsprechend der Spezifikation eingestuft
ist. Brennen die Sicherungen mehrmals durch, sollte qualifiziertes Personal dies überprüfen.
Nur für GB - Das Netzkabel, das mit den britischen Modellen geliefert wird, beinhaltet einen dreipoligen-3-
Amp-Stecker mit einer 5-Amp-Sicherung.
WARTUNG
Der Motor und das Getriebe sind für ihre gesamte Lebensdauer geschmiert und benötigen normalerweise
keine weitere Wartung. Die Rollen des Rotors sind selbstschmierend. Sollten der Geräuschpegel der Rollen
steigen und diese eine Schmierung benötigen, verwenden Sie Silikonfett zur Schmierung der Rollen. Sollte
das Motorgetriebe eine Schmierung benötigen, muss diese von befugtem Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden.
Das Rohrsystem der Pumpe ist nicht auf die ganze Lebensdauer ausgelegt, daher sollten Sie einen
geeigneten Rohrersatzplan ausarbeiten, um einer ärgerlichen Rohr-Fehlfunktion vorzubeugen.

Dekontaminierungs-Zertifikat
Dieses Formular muss ausgefüllt und an VWR. gesendet werden, bevor eine Pumpe
zur Wartung, Reparatur oder anderen Arbeiten eingeschickt wird. Liegt das Formular nicht
vor dem Erhalt der Pumpe vor, kann dies zu einer Verzögerung der Arbeiten oder zur
unbearbeiteten Rücksendung des Produktes führen.
Das Verfahren ist für VWR. obligatorisch, um seinen Verpflichtungen gemäß dem britischen
Arbeitsschutzgesetz ‚Health & Safety at Work Act' von 1974 nachzukommen sowie die
entsprechenden Bestimmungen zu erfüllen.
Die Pumpen müssen sorgfältig gereinigt zurückgegeben werden. Sie sind für die
Dekontaminierung verantwortlich.
Werden die Produkte in unsauberem, kontaminiertem Zustand zurückgegeben, werden keinerlei
Arbeiten ausgeführt, bis das vollständig ausgefüllte Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsdatenblatt für
jede Substanz, mit der die Pumpe in Kontakt gekommen ist, ausgefüllt und gemeinsam mit den
untenstehenden Angaben von VWR. empfangen wurde. VWR. behält sich das Recht vor,
kontaminierte Produkte auf Ihre Rechnung an Sie zurückzusenden.
Das Formular kann per Fax, auf dem schnellsten Postweg (in Großbritannien per „First Class
Mail‟) oder per E-Mail direkt an VWR. gesendet werden. Eine Kopie des ausgefüllten Formulars
muss auch außen auf der Produktverpackung angebracht werden.
