LAMP REPLACMENT
Remove the plug from the electricity supply and allow the heater to cool.
Remove the first two screws from one end of the end reflector, this will release the
guard and expose one of the lamp terminal end posts.
Next remove the end reflector from the opposite end of the cassette, exposing the
other lamp terminal. Release the nuts on the exposed terminal end posts just enough
to allow the fork terminals of the lamp leads to be pushed under the washer and nut
provided.
Carefully remove the lamp from its packing, holding it by the porcelain end caps,
taking care not to handle the quartz glass.
If you accdentally touch the glass with your fingers, clean it with methelylated
spirits or isopropal alcohol. Failure to do so will result in premature failure of
the lamp.
Carefully insert the end caps of the lamp under the spring retaining clips of the
heater. The fork terminals on each end of the lamp should now be inserted under the
washer/nuts of the lamp end posts and tightened to make a good connection. The
lamp leads should then be tucked away around the space at each end of the heater.
Finally replace the end reflectors and grill to complete the assembly.
