Walker’s CONTROL APP
FREE on iTunes and Google Play
The ambient monitor settings of the earbuds can be adjusted from the Walker’s BT app. While the
earbuds are connected via Bluetooth to your mobile phone, the app will automatically synchronize with
the earbuds current settings. From the app, you can set the ambient monitor volume, earbud volume
link, hearing mode and sleep timer for both earbuds.
•Ambient volume control: Mimics the physical volume controls found on the earbuds
•Earbud volume link: By default, the ambient volume control of both earbuds are linked together,
meaning that pressing a volume button on the earbuds themselves will adjust both earbuds by one
level. The volume controls can be unlinked by pressing the link button between the two control
sliders. Note that the linked volumes levels can only increase or decrease until one slider reaches its
maximum or minimum level, respectively.
•Advanced hearing modes: Applies the hearing modes available using the hearing mode control
found on the right earbud.
•Inactivity sleep timer: To conserve battery life when the earbuds are not in use, the earbuds can be
configured to power off after a set time. The earbuds will power off when no button have been
pressed for the designated time AND when they are not connected to a device via Bluetooth.
NRR Information:
Although hearing protectors can be recommended for protection against the harmful effects of impulsive
noise, the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is based on the attenuation of continuous noise and may not
be an accurate indicator of the protection attainable against impulsive noise such as gunfire.
The level of noise entering a person's ear, when hearing protector is worn as directed, is closely
approximated by the difference between the A-weighted environmental noise level and the NRR.
