Safety and Warnings
Intended Use
This product is for domestic and indoor
use only.
General Warnings
•If the power supply for the electric blanket is lower than the
recommended voltage, the temperature of the blanket will rise slowly
and the heating ability is relatively low. This is not a malfunction of
the blanket and the user should pay attention to the voltage of the
supply socket.
•Do not use pins on the appliance. Do not scratch with sharp objects
or beat the object with blunt devices. Do not attempt to secure the
electric blanket with pins or other metal objects.
•Do not let the control unit or power cord get wet.
•Wash by hand or machine. Do not use if wet. See ‘Cleaning, Storage
and Maintenance’ for further instructions.
•Do not dry clean this electric blanket.
•Do not use with any other heating appliances e.g., hot water bottle.
•This product is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
•The power cord of the appliance cannot be changed or repaired. If
the cord is damaged, the appliance must be disposed of.
•Do not turn on the electric blanket whilst it is folded.
Regular Check-Ups
Ensure the power cable and
plug are not damaged before
plugging into a socket.

General Warnings
•Do not expose the electric blanket to direct sunlight.
•Do not iron the blanket and avoid damaging the insulation of the
heating wires.
•Do not use with anything that can start a fire such as cigarettes,
sparks, etc.
•Switch off the blanket or pull the plug when leaving the house or not
using the blanket.
•Children under 3 should not use this appliance due to their inability
to react to overheating.
•When not in use, the blanket should be stored in a dry place. When
storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding. Do not
crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
•After storing, the blanket should be carefully checked before use to
make sure the control or cords are safe. Do not switch on the
power when the blanket is not totally safe.
•Do not attempt to perform any repairs on the electric blanket
yourself.
•Do not use the electric blanket on an adjustable bed.

yourself. Please contact the retailer in this circumstance.
•Do not try to repair a fuse link or thermal link. The appliance must
be returned to the retailer if a link has ruptured.
Users must observe all the above points. Failure to do so may
result in the blanket overheating which could result in a fire,
bodily injury, or property loss.

Operating the Product
•This blanket is intended to be used as a ‘throw’ or ‘over blanket’ and
therefore should always be placed on top of a person and not
underneath them.
•It is not to be used as an ‘under blanket’.
•Connect the controller to the blanket (the blanket has a socket
attached that the controller slots into) and ensure it is fully
connected.
•Ensure there is a mains supply is nearby and that when in use, the
mains lead will not be in a position that could cause people to trip
over it. When plugged into the mains supply, the controller must be
within easy reach of the user.
•Plug the product into a mains power socket and slide the power
button to ‘on’. Select the desired heat setting 1-9 or 0 for off. It is
recommended to use setting 7-9 for a quick heat up and then select
a lower setting. To switch the throw off completely, simply slide the
power button to ‘off’. The heated throw is designed so the
temperature setting levels 1-6 are suitable for continuous use.

•The controller of the electric throw has a timer button with settings 1-
9 hours. Press the ‘timer’ button to control how long you want the
blanket to be left on for.
•If the temperature is displayed as ‘P’, please check whether the
coupler of the electric blanket has been connected firmly and
restart it. If the fault cannot be removed, it means the internal
connection of the electric blanket has problems and you need to
contact our customer care team.
•If the controller shows ‘E’, please shut down and then restart. If it
still occurs, this indicates that the internal connection has short
circuited and that the blanket is damaged.
•When using the blanket, some people may be susceptible to a
tingling sensation when alone or when touching someone else
using the blanket. This tingling feeling is known as an electric field
effect and is occasionally known to happen across all makes and
brands of electric blankets. It is caused by the current flowing
through the element creating an Electromagnetic Field. Some
people are more susceptible to this feeling than others. This is no
cause for concern and is in no way an electric shock.

Cleaning, Maintenance and Storage
Always unplug and remove the controller from the throw blanket
before cleaning.
To remove the controller, lift the locking tab on the blanket connector
and then pull the controller out of the blanket connector.
The power cable must never come into contact with water. It is
recommended to wash the blanket only if it becomes dirty or dusty.
Before using the blanket, make sure it is completely dry.

Hand Washing
Immerse the blanket in water for 10 minutes, using mild detergent and
lukewarm water. Then, carefully rinse the blanket with cold water,
without wringing or squeezing it out.
Machine Washing
The blanket may be washed on the wool or delicate setting of the
washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30°C.
Drying
Hang the blanket to air dry naturally in a horizontal position until
completely dry. Do not expose to direct sunlight. Do not dry with a
hairdryer or heater.
Maintenance
Examine the blanket regularly to check that there are no signs of wear
or damage. If any damage or wear is spotted, do not use the blanket
and seek specialist advice. If the mains lead or controller is damaged,
do not open or attempt to repair them as they must be serviced by a
qualified person.
Storage
When not in use, allow to cool and dry, then fold neatly but not tightly in
the original packaging without sharp bends in the heating elements.
