1.1 Summary
WathcNET’s Video Door Phone (AVCDS1) is a commercial grade full metal body intercom that is
weather proof and easy to install. SIP technology enables easy communication with any EPBX or SIP
telephone, once registered with SIP server the door phone can call landline or mobile phone for
video and audio communication

2.1 Web Login
Obtaining IP Address –the DS1 is set to DHCP by default, make sure the SIP Door Station is plugin to the
network, to get the IP address simply press and hold the call button for about 5 seconds and a voice
prompt will tell you the IP address of the door station.
Note: Make sure to wait for LED status to turn blue.

2.2 Login using Web browser
Open web browser and enter the IP address of the door station into the address bar and type in the
username and password.

2.4 Intercom
2.4.1 Basic –Basic configuration for the intercom such as push button number, no answer feature etc.

Select Account –Allows you to select to which account applies the settings
No Answer Call –To enable or disable no answer feature
Push Button –to input the number to call when making a call

No Answer Call 1 –when the number on push button did not answer, it will dial this instead

No Answer Call 2 –if the number on “No Answer Call 1” did not answer it will redirected to this
number.
Push Button Action –if configured the door station will record any changes on the surrounding
environment and send the message or picture to the configured receiver
Web Call –to dial out or answer the call from a website
Max Call Time –configure a maximum time during a call
Max Dial Time
Dial In Time –if other phone calls the door station and if ring tone is over the dial in time
without answer the call will be terminated
Dial Out Time –if the door station dial the number and ringtone is over the dial out time
without answer the door station will continue to call on no answer call number.
Push to Hang Up –enable or disable push to hang up feature
2.4.2 Advanced
Photoresistor –Photo resistor is used to sense the light intensity on door station and will enable the LED
automatically, the lower the setting the lower the sensitivity.

Tamper Alarm –to enable or disable tamper alarm, if the gravity sensor changes the phone will trigger
the alarm, the smaller the threshold the faster the door station will trigger

State –supports 5 states, Normal, Offline, Calling, Talking and Receiving.
Color Off –default settings is OFF
Color On –it supports 3 color; Red, Green and Blue
Blink Mode –to configure a different frequency settings
LED Control –to remotely configure the LED using URL

DTMF Option –to configure the DTMF code, support 1, 2, 3 or 4 numbers.
DTMF –to configure the code to unlock the relay or door
Multiple DTMF –if DTFM Option is set to either 2, 3 or 4 you can input the codes here
Status –status will change depending on the relay state
Web Relay –door station supports remote unlock relay via web
Type –to enable or disable this function
IP Address –input the web relay IP address
User name –input the username if needed

2.4.6 RTSP
RTSP Basic –to enable or disable RTSP feature on the door station
RTSP Stream –to enable or disable the RTSP audio and video, also to select RTSP video codec
H.264 Video Parameters –is a video stream compression standard, this provides an approximately
identical level of video stream quality but a half bit rate.
MPEG4 Video Parameters –one of the video network image compression standards, it supports
maximum compression ratio- 4000:1, it is an important and common video function with great
communication application integration ability and less core program space.
MJPEG Video Parameters –is also called as Motion Joint Photographic Experts Group, it is a video
encoding format in which each image is compressed separately by JPEG. MJPEG compression can
produce high quality video image and has a flexible configuration in video definition and compressed
frames.

used to receive all initiating request messages and route them to the designated SIP server
Note: if configured, all SIP request message from the door station will be sent to outbound proxy
immediately.
NAT –to enable or disable the NAT feature
Stun Server Address –a solution to solve a NAT issues.

Type –supports Inband, Info RFC2833 or other combination
How to Notify DTMF –only available if DTMF type is set to “Info”
DTMD Payload –to configure the payload type for DTMF
Note: default settings is “RFC2833” which is the standard, Inband type uses frequency to indicate DTMF
tone which is mostly used to be compatible with traditional telephone server. Info type is used for SIP
info message to indicate DTMF message.

Max Local SIP Port –to configure the maximum local SIP port for designated account
Min Local SIP Port –to configure the minimum local SIP port for designated account
Caller ID Header –to configure which caller ID format to show for display on phone UI.
Auto Answer –if enable, the door station will answer the incoming call automatically
Anonymous Call –if enabled, the door station will send user=phone within SIP message
Anonymous Call Rejection –if enabled, all incoming anonymous call will be rejected
Missed Call Log –to display the miss call log
Prevent SIP Hacking –to prevent SIP from being hacked
Session Timer
Active –to enable or disable session timer feature. If enabled the ongoing call will be
disconnected automatically once the session expires, unless it’s been refresh by UAC or UAS
Session Expire –to configure the session expire time
Session Refresher –to configure who should be responsible for refreshing the session
Note: UAC means User Agent Client or stands for IP phone, UAS means User Agent Server or stands for
SIP server
Encryption –If voice Encryption is enabled all audio signal will be encrypted for more security
NAT
UDP Keep Alive Message –if enabled, door station will send UDP keep-alive message
periodically to router to keep NAT port alive
UDP Alive Message Interval –keep alive message interval
Rport –if enabled, it will add remote port into outgoing SIP message for designated account
User Agent –One can customize user agent field in the SIP message, if user agent is set to a specific
value user could see the information from PCAP. If user agent is not set by default, user could see the
company name, model and firmware version from PCAP
