GETTING STARTED
Preparing the Reservoir
Slide Water Flosser power handle into back of
reservoir and press firmly to snap into place.
Lift flip top on reservoir and fill the reservoir with
lukewarm water.
Inserting and Removing Tips
Insert tip into the center of
the knob at the top of the
Water Flosser handle. The
colored ring will be flush
with the end of the knob if
the tip is correctly locked
into place.
To remove the tip
from the handle, press
thetipejectbutton
and pull tip from
the handle.

Adjusting the Pressure Setting
Youcanadjustthepressuresettingonyour
Water Flosser by simply changing tips. There
are two tips available—a high pressure tip
for deeper cleaning and a low pressure tip for
gentle cleaning.

Leanlowoversinkandplacethejettipinmouth.Aimthetiptowardteeth,
and turn the unit on.
Directthejetstreamata90-degreeangletoyourgumline.Slightly close
lips to avoid splashing but allow water to flow freely from mouth into
thesink.Forbestresults,startinthemolararea(backteeth)working
towardthefrontteeth.Glidejettipalonggumlineandpausebriey
between teeth. Continue until all areas around and between the teeth
have been cleaned.

Using Mouthwash and Other Solutions
Your Waterpik®Water Flosser can be used to deliver mouthwash and
antibacterialsolutions.Askyourdentalprofessionaltorecommendthe
appropriatesolutionforyou.Note:useofsomeantibacterialsolutionscould
shorten the life of your Waterpik®Water Flosser.
Afterusinganyspecialsolutioninthereservoir,takeamomentafterevery
usetorinsetheunit.Partiallyllthereservoirwithwarmtapwater.Aimthe
jettipintoyoursink.Turnontheunitandletitrununtilempty.Thiswillhelp
keep the tip from clogging and help your unit to last longer.

CARE OF YOUR WATERPIK® WATER FLOSSER
Neverimmersetheunitinwater.Wipetheexteriorwhennecessarywitha
softclothandmildnon-abrasivecleanser.Reservoirmaybewashedwith
soapy water or in top rack of dishwasher.
Before cleaning, unplug from the electrical outlet.
BeforeexposingtheWaterFlossertofreezingtemperatures,remove
the reservoir and run the unit until completely empty.
Battery Care
Before first use charge for 24 hours to obtain full charge.
To charge your Water Flosser, plug the cord into any
standard electrical outlet. Make sure you push the switch into the
‘OFF’positionbeforecharging.Theunitwillnotchargeiftheswitch
isinthe‘ON’position.
If you use your Water Flosser once a day or less, it is recommended you
charge it overnight, once a week. If you use it twice a day or more, charge
theunitmorefrequently.Donotrunthebatteriesdowncompletelyasthis
mayshortenthelifespanofthebatteriesandwillrequirechargingtheunit
for 24 hours to obtain a full charge.
IftheWaterFlosseristobestoredforanextendedperiodoftime,charge
itfor24hoursbeforestoring.NeverstoretheWaterFlosserforextended
periodsunlessitisfullycharged.Tomaximizethelifespanofthebatteries
thebatterychargermaybekeptconnectedtotheunitcontinuously,except
for when the product is in use.
Battery Disposal
TheunitcontainsaNickelMetalHydridebattery.Attheendofthebattery
life, please recycle the unit at your nearest recycle center per local or state
requirements.Thebatteryisnotreplaceable.
