STEPS TO CHANGE FILTER
TURN OFF WATER BEFORE PROCEEDING!
A. Twist counter-clockwise,
B. Pull up and discard used MC-1 Filter.
Insert NEW AAA batteries into
System base.
Discard excess water
from System base.
Press RESET button for 5 seconds to
begin NEW Filter countdown.
Run cold water 5 minutes through System.

Remove BLACK CAP from NEW Filter.
A. Line up & place Filter key holes
to System. B. Twist clockwise to lock.

¡CIERRE EL AGUA ANTES DE CONTINUAR!
A. Gire en sentido antihorario,
B. Jale hacia arriba y deseche el
filtro MC-1 usado.
Inserte pilas AAA NUEVAS en la
base del sistema.
Deseche el exceso de agua
de la base del sistema.
Presione el botón RESET durante
5 segundos para comenzar la NUEVA
cuenta regresiva del filtro.
Deje correr el agua fria 5 minutos
a través del sistema.

A. Alinee y coloque los agujeros clave
del filtro en el sistema. B. Gire en sentido
horario para bloquear.

DESLIGUE A ÁGUA ANTES DE PROSSEGUIR!
A. Gire no sentido contrário ao dos
ponteiros do relógio, B. Puxe e elimine
o filtro MC-1 usado.
Introduza as pilhas AAA NOVAS na
base do sistema.
Descartar o excesso de água
da base do sistema.
Prima o botão REPOR por 5 segundos
para iniciar uma NOVA contagem
regressiva do filtro.
Corra água fria durante 5 minutos
através do sistema.

sistema. B. Gire no sentido dos ponteiros

aiguilles d’une montre, B. Tirez vers le
haut et jetez le filtre MC-1 usé.
Insérez de NOUVELLES
piles AAA dans le socle du système.
Jeter l’excès d’eau
de la base du système.
Appuyez sur le bouton RESET pendant
5 secondes pour commencer le NOUVEAU
compte à rebours du filtre.
Faire couler l’eau froide pendant
5 minutes dans le système.

Each MC-1 Filter is designed to process 1892 liters of
water OR operate for 180 days - whichever comes rst,
at which time the Filter must be changed. If you have
low/no water pressure from faucet, you may need
optional hand pump (Contact your mission ofce). If
you generally have good water pressure, from faucet,
and MC-1 water production decreases signicantly the
Filter is clogged and must be replaced.
FOR COLD WATER USE ONLY
IMPORTANT: If system has been unused more
than 30 days, lter MUST be replaced - due to
water stagnation and potential bacteria growth.

IMPORTANTE:
Cada ltro MC-1 está diseñado para poder procesar 1892 litros de agua
O funcionar durante 180 días, lo que suceda primero, y en cuyo momento
deberá cambiarse. Si usted tiene baja / o nada de presión de agua del
grifo, es posible que necesite una bomba manual opcional (Contacte a su
ocina de misión). Si generalmente tiene buena presión de agua desde
el grifo, y la producción de agua del sistema de ltro MC-1 disminuye
signicativamente, el ltro está obstruido y debe reemplazarse.
SOLO PARA AGUA FRÍA
IMPORTANTE: Si el sistema no se ha utilizado durante más de
30 días, DEBE reemplazarse el ltro, debido al estancamiento
del agua y al posible crecimiento de bacterias.

Cada ltro MC-1 é projetado para processar 1892 litros de água OU
operar por 180 dias - o que ocorrer primeiro, e nesse momento o
ltro deve ser mudado. Se a pressão da água da torneira for baixa
/ nenhuma, pode ser necessário uma bomba manual opcional
(Entre em contato com o escritório da sua missão). Se a pressão da
água for geralmente boa e a produção de água do sistema de ltro
MC-1 diminuir signicativamente, o ltro está entupido e deve ser
substituído.
SOMENTE PARA ÁGUA FRIA
IMPORTANTE: Se o sistema não for usado por mais de 30
dias, o ltro DEVE ser substituído devido à água estagnada e
possível crescimento de bactérias.
IMPORTANT:
Chaque ltre MC-1 est conçu pour traiter 1892 litres d’eau OU pour
fonctionner pendant 180 jours - selon la première éventualité,
après quoi le ltre doit être changé. Si la pression du robinet est
faible ou inexistante, vous aurez peut-être besoin d’une pompe à
main en option (Contactez votre bureau de mission). Si vous avez
généralement une bonne pression d’eau, provenant du robinet, et
si la pression d’eau du MC-1 diminue de manière signicative, cela
signie que le ltre est bouché et doit être remplacé

For Chemical and Mechanical Reduction - Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected waters
that may contain filterable cyst. - This system is not intended to convert wastewater or raw sewage into drinking
water. - Recommended replacement schedule for this system filter is 1892 liters or 180 days, whichever comes first.
- Conforms to NSF/ANSI for VOC and pentavalent arsenic reduction. See performance data sheet and Arsenic Facts
section for an explanation of reduction performance at WaterTechFilters.com/MC-1.
WARNING: This system is for use on water supplies that have been treated to public water systems Standards.
This system has been tested to demonstrate effective reduction of microcystins, however, in the event of a reported
cyanotoxin event in your water supply, other cyanotoxins may be present in the drinking water which may not be
effectively reduced by this system. In the event of a cyanotoxin notification, follow the recommendations of your
drinking water authority.
Please refer to the owner’s manual for proper maintenance and operation. If this device is not maintained or
operated as specified in the owner’s manual, there is a risk of exposure to contaminants. For more information,

The MC-1 is certified by IAPMO Against NSF P231 – Microbiological Water Purifiers, based on the
recommendations set forth in the USEPA Guide Standard and Protocol for Microbiological Water Purifiers (OPP Task
