What’s in the box:
1 x Auditor
2 x sets of 3 CTs
Power connection tails included
Green connectors included
• Do you have at least 35mm space in the DIN rail
mount to t the Auditor?
• Do you have 3G/4G signal inside the switch box?
• Do you have a smartphone or tablet with internet
to congure the device?
• Do you have the necessary electrician tools to
install including energy measurement clamp
meters for testing?
• Have you ensured that the install complies with
the electrical standards in your jurisdiction
including an isolation circuit breaker either
existing or new? No circuit breakers are included.

2. Connect your Auditor


Three-Phase Voltage
Connections
Use this conguration when there
are multiple phases present.
The voltage connections are
labelled P1, P2, P3, N.
Connect voltage phases to P1, P2,
and P3. Connect neutral
(Black) to N.
Single-Phase Voltage
Connections
Use this conguration when one
phase is present.
The voltage connections are
labelled P1, P2, P3, N.
Connect P1, P2 & P3 to the
same phase.
Connect neutral to N.

Current Transformer
Connections
The CT connections are labelled:
, 6+, 5+, 4+, , 3+, 2+, 1+
The white wires connect to terminals
labelled “ ” three wires in each terminal
The pink wires connect to the terminals
labelled “+”
The CTs and Voltage phases must
match as stated below.
CT connected to ... cables connected to ...
1+ and 4+ P1
2+ and 5+ P2
3+ and 6+ P3
3. Connect your CTs
The included Wattwatchers CTs are connected to the
bottom of the Auditor.
Only Wattwatchers supplied CTs are supported.
It is important to get the direction right when installing CTs.
The direction arrow is identied on each CT by the
symbol K->L.
For monitoring the grid K->L needs to point away from grid.
For monitoring loads K->L needs to point towards
the load.
For inverters (solar or otherwise) K->L needs to point away
from the inverter.
It is acceptable to use less than six CTs.
(minimum of one).

4. Use Setup Tool
Use the onboarding tool at onboarding.wattwatchers.com.au
to congure and setup your Auditor installation.
The onboarding setup tool provides a series of steps to
capture details of your setup and provide real-time
feedback on the success of the installation.
The onboarding setup tool MUST be used for each and
every Auditor installation.

5. Validate Installation
Check the lights
When installation is completed successfully, all three
green lights on the front of the Auditor should be lit solid.
The table below shows the meaning of the lights.
