Assembly Instructions for WCS Dumpsters
2 Yard Containers With Tie Down Bags
Tools Needed
Impact Driver, Drill, or Ratchet
Socket – 18mm or 11/16
Note: The dumpster can be assembled on the floor, but the use of a sturdy table for assembly in an elevated position
makes the job easier. Can be assembled by one person.
Orientation of Dumpster – Front is determined by the locking left front wheel and the two corner posts are shorter than
the back.

Assembly Steps
Step 1 – Remove bolts holding top front and rear rails in place and set the rails aside. Remove lids from dumpster.
Step 2– Remove front and rear center transport bolts to release end pieces for vertical assembly.
*Center transport bolts must be in place when dumpsters are in the folded position for stacking or moving. They
secure the fork pockets.
Step 3 – Remove the two bolts holding each of the corner stacking brackets in place. The bolts will be put back on to
secure the end sections and corner brackets to the frame when ends are raised vertically.

Step 4 – With center transport bolts and the 2 bolts from each corner bracket removed, raise one end of the dumpster and
attach the corner post and corner bracket to the frame with the bolts removed in step 3. Secure bolts on corner posts and
tighten.
Repeat this step for the other end.
*End units are heavy and should always be secured with at least one bolt before letting go. If not, the end could
fall and cause injury.
Step 5 – Remove the front panel that is laying flat and covering the remaining parts. Remove all parts from bottom of
dumpster until you are left with the mesh bottom. Note: Check bolts holding casters as they may have loosened during
transport.

Step 6 – Install 2 “L” shaped bottom support rails under mesh bottom using 4 bolts and nuts and tighten. Notice that the
sides of the rails forming the “L” face the end of the unit.

Step 7 - Install back top rail using 2 end lid brackets from parts bag on back side of the unit. Corner posts are taller for
the back side. Finger Tighten Only. Note: There is only one hole in the middle of the back, top rail.
*If only one person is doing the assembly, follow step “a” below.
a. Attach one end with one bolt/nut loosely. Raise rail and attach the other end.
With both ends attached, tighter the 4 bolts on each end making sure that the lid support brackets are level with the
top of the corner posts as shown in photos. .
Step 8 – With top, rear rail in place, insert middle back support rail vertically between top and bottom rails with the bag
support rod hole at the top. When connecting support rail to top piece, place middle lid support bracket on top rail and
insert bolt through this bracket, the top rail, and the vertical support rail. Note: Middle lid support bracket should be
flush with the top of the top rail.
Step 9 - Install front top rail on front of unit using the top and bottom of the three holes in corner of top rail – corner
posts are shorter than rear of unit. 2 bolts each side. Tighten all four corner bolts making sure that the rail is level with
the top of the corner posts. Note – Front top rail has two holes in the middle.

Step 10– Take off left and right front hinge nuts only leave bolt in place. Install front panel by placing inside front
bottom rail of frame and over the hinge bolts. Replace hinge nuts Finger Tighten Only.
Step 11 - Attach left and right support rails to front rail forming a letter “V” using 4 bolts/nuts. Finger tighten only.
Make sure that bag support rod holes are facing up. Finger Tighten Only.
Step 12- Install bag protection shields. Left and right front top corners. Bolts go through bag protection shields, corner
post, and front panel. Attach nuts. Finger tighten only. These secure front panel. Tighten all 10 bolts securing front of
dumpster components.
Step 13- Attach end bag support rails for bags to each front corner post. Rails go inside of corner posts. Finger Tighten
Only.

Step 14- Place bag in dumpster with front side with three flaps facing the front.
Step 15- Slide end bag support rail through bag sleeve on each end.
Step 16- Insert rear bag support rod from left or right rear post through the end bag rail, bag sleeve and center vertical
support rail to opposite corner end bag support rail. Insert cotter pin in each end of rod to secure.
Note: Insert Cotter Pins in the Ends of All Support Rods to Secure.
Front of bag has three flaps.

Step 17 – Fold bag over front top rail and secure bag to front of unit. Slide bag support rod through front right corner
post, front bag sleeve, each vertical support rail and hole in left corner post. Insert cotter pin in each end to secure
Step 18 - Put lids on top and insert rear lid support rod through right lid bracket through the first lid, then through the
middle lid support bracket, and finally through the second lid and the opposite corner lid bracket. Insert cotter pin in
each end of lid support rail to secure.
Step 19 - Tie bag to frame and mesh bottom. Use all ties.

the corner bracket, first lid, middle bracket, second lid, and opposite bracket.
These photos show the left, center, and right front of the dumpster with
bag. Notice that the bag folds over the top rail and then the support rod is
inserted through the corner post, bag sleeves, and vertical support rails all
the way through and out the opposite corner post.
