Product description
The fragrance dosing type DUFTDOS-0-Compact refers to a dosing system for the dosed introduction of
fragrance concentrate in the steam pipe of steam rooms.
Function
The fragrance concentrate is dosed through the hose pump passing the dosing pipe into the steam pipe. The
pump must be connected in such a way that it can only dose during the steam production. The dosing power
depends only on the diameter of the dosing hose. The dosing pipe is made of transparent PTFE, so that during
the deaeration the air bubble in the pipe can be observed.
The optional dosing valve is assembled into the dosing pipe to connection the dosing power.
ATTENTION !
The device must be connected in such a way that dosing is only done during the steam
production of the steam generator.

3.2.1 Dosing unit
For the fragrance dosing a hose pump is used, conveying even the smallest
dosing volumes securely, even when there are air bubbles in the suction
pipe. Rotating rollers press the dosing hose against the wall, squeezing out
the liquid in front of the rollers while sucking in new liquid at the same time.
Hose pumps are extremely reliable and particularly easy to operate.
Fragrance concentrates can be extremely corrosive. The dosing hose used
resists most of the commercially available concentrates.
ATTENTION !
The composition of the fragrance varies. This may reduce the service life of the hose.
You should therefore regularly check the fragrance pump according to the mainte-
nance plan or whenever fragrance is topped up.
3.2.2 Dosing valve (option)
The valve is a combined spring loaded non-return valve and dosing valve.
In case of a defect of the pump or the dosing pipe (broken hose, mainte-
nance works) the dosing valve avoids the penetration of steam from the
steam pipe into the dosing pipe.
In the error free operation no dosing valve is required since the pressure of
the pump is higher than the pressure in the steam pipe.
3.2.3 Console (option)
The device is supplied standard for wall Installation. The fragrance container is put on the floor.
The optional console is foreseen for an Installation at a higher level, so that the floor remains free. The fra-
grance container is put on the console. The console is available in two sizes.

radiation or directly exposed to sunlight. The device may only be transported and
stored in its original packaging. Careful handling must be ensured.
The roller carrier of the dosing pump is not installed during transport and storage. This prevents deformation
of the hose.
Storage of fragrances / chemicals
DANGER !
The safety data sheets of the fragrance manufacturers have to be considered with re-
gard to storage!
The following points must be considered, among others:
Fragrance concentrates may only be stored in appropriately marked, original plastic containers.
The fragrance concentrates must be stored in a separate storage room.
The environmental temperature may not exceed 20°C.
See at this regard also Section 2.2.1 “Handling of chemicals, risks to persons and the environment“.
