ACHTUNG
Der Schutzgrad IP66 wird nur erreicht,
wenn die folgenden Bedingungen einge-
halten werden:
–Die Montagewand ist zwischen 2 und
6mm dick.
–Die Montagewand darf in alle Richtun-
gen um maximal 0,5mm deformierbar
sein.
–Im Auflagebereich der Dichtung darf
die Rauheit der Oberfläche maximal
120micron betragen (Rz120).
ATTENTION
Protection class IP66 will only be
achieved with the following preconditions
fullled:
–The mounting panel width is between
2 and 6mm.
–The maximum deformablility of the
mounting panel shall be 0.5mm in all
directions.
–The surface roughness of the sealing
contact area may be 120micron
(Rz120) at maximum.

Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Produkt ist für den Einsatz in der indus-
triellen Automation vorgesehen. Es kann zur
Überwachung und Steuerung von Maschi-
nen und Anlagen eingesetzt werden.
Das Produkt entspricht der Schutzart IP66
(gem. IEC60529), es ist nicht für den
Einsatz im explosiongefährdeten Bereich
vorgesehen.
Das Produkt darf nur für die vorgesehenen
Einsatzfälle verwendet werden. Zum be-
stimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch gehört auch
das Beachten der Dokumentation.

Intended use
The product is intended for use in industrial
automation. It can be used for the monitor-
ing and control of machines and production
lines.
The product meets the requirements of
protection class IP66 (as per IEC60529),
it cannot be used in potentially explosive
atmospheres.
The product may only be used for the in-
tended applications. The observance of the
documentation is part of the intended use.

▶Schließen Sie die vorbereitete Erdungs-
schraube (1) am Gerät an.
▶Stecken Sie den vormontierten DC-Ver-
sorgungsstecker (2) in die Anschluss-
buchse.
▶Schalten Sie die Spannungsversorgung
ein.
Die Status-LED (3) leuchtet grün, die Status-
LED (4) an der Vorderseite des Touch-
Screens leuchtet gelb. Im Betrieb leuchtet
die Status-LED (4) grün.
▶Connect the prepared earthing screw (1)
to the unit.
▶Insert the pre-assembled DC supply plug
(2) into the connection socket.
▶Switch on the power supply.
The status LED (3) lights up green, the sta-
tus LED (4) on the front of the touch screen
lights up yellow. During operation, the sta-
tus LED (4) lights up green.

ACHTUNG
–Das Gerät muss mit 24VDC
(18V ... 32V) versorgt werden.
–Die Spannungsversorgung muss SELV
entsprechen (gem. IEC60950-1).
–Die Spannungsversorgung muss den
Anforderungen NEC Class2 oder LPS
gemäß IEC/EN/DINEN/UL61010-2-
201.
–Für die Spannungsversorgung sind
Anschlusskabel mit einem Querschnitt
von 0,75 bis1,5mm2zu verwenden.
Das Kabel muss bis 75°C hitzebestän-
dig sein.
ATTENTION
–The device must be supplied with
24VDC (18V ... 32V).
–The voltage supply must fulfill SELV
(acc. to IEC60950-1).
–The voltage supply must fulfill the
requirements NEC Class2 or LPS
gemäß IEC/EN/DINEN/UL61010-2-
201.
–The power supply cable shall have a
cross section between 0.75 and
1.5mm2 (AWG18 to AWG16). The
cable must be heat resistant up to
75°C.

BIOS
ACHTUNG
Änderungen an den BIOS-Einstellungen
dürfen nur von geschultem Personal vor-
genommen werden. Zwei voreingestellte
Kongurationen sind verfügbar und kön-
nen aus dem Exit-Menü des BIOS-Setups
ausgewählt werden.
Bei Auslieferung ist das System im Zu-
stand „Optimised Defaults“ konguriert
und betriebsbereit.
Optimierte Standardeinstellungen
Optimale Einstellungen („Optimised Def-
aults“) sind darauf ausgelegt, maximale Sys-
temleistung in Nicht-Echtzeit-Anwendungen
zu erreichen.
Standardeinstellungen in Echtzeit
Die Echtzeit-Einstellungen sind so ausge-
legt, dass ein minimaler Jitter in Echtzeitan-
wendungen erreicht wird. Funktionen wie
Hyperthreading, SpeedStep, C-States und
DTS sind deaktiviert.
BIOS-Setup
▶Drücken Sie die Taste F2 während der
POST-Phase und nach dem Einschalten.
–Mit den Pfeiltasten ▲ / ▼navigieren Sie
im aktuellen Menü.
–Mit den Tasten Pg ▲ / Pg ▼ wechseln Sie
in den scrollbaren Menüs zur vorherigen
/ nächsten Seite.
–Mit den Tasten Home/End wechseln Sie
im aktuellen Menü in das obere/untere
Feld.
–Innerhalb eines Feldes wählen die
Tasten F5 oder „-“ den nächst nied-
rigeren Wert und die Tasten F6 oder „+“
den nächst höheren Wert.
–Mit den Pfeiltasten ◀ / ▶ wählen Sie die
Menüs in der Menüleiste aus.
BIOS
ATTENTION
Changes to the BIOS settings may only be
made by properly trained personnel. Two
preset congurations are available and
can be selected from the Exit menu of the
BIOS SETUP.
On delivery the system is congured in
the state “Optimised Defaults” and is
operational.
Optimised Defaults
The „Optimised Defaults“ settings are desi-
gned to achieve maximum system perfor-
mance in non-real-time applications.
Real-Time Defaults
The Real-Time settings are designed to
achieve minimal jitter in realtime appli-
cations. Features like Hyperthreading,
SpeedStep, C-States and DTS are disabled.
BIOS setup
▶Press the F2 key during the POST phase,
after the power on.
–The ▲ / ▼ arrow keys select the fields in
the current menu.
–In the scrollable menus, the Pg ▲ / Pg ▼
keys allow you to move to the previous /
next page.
–The Home/End keys allow you to switch
to the top/bottom field in the current
menu.
–Within a field, the F5 or „-“ keys select
the next lower value and the F6 or „+“
keys select the next upper value.
–The ◀ / ▶ arrow / keys select the menus
in the menu bar.
