um das Gerät sicher und sachgerecht in Betrieb
zu nehmen, zu bedienen, zu warten und einfache
Störungen selbst zu beseitigen.
Geben Sie das Gerät an Dritte stets zusammen mit

Das Gerät wurde entsprechend dem heutigen
Stand der Technik und den anerkannten sicher-
heitstechnischen Regeln hergestellt.
Trotzdem besteht die Gefahr von Personen- und
Sachschäden, wenn Sie die Sicherheitshinweise
im beiliegenden Sicherheitsheft sowie die Warn-
hinweise in dieser Anleitung nicht beachten.

Brand- und Explosionsgefahr!
Das Gerät darf nicht zum Absaugen von
brennbaren Gasen verwendet werden.
Das Gerät darf nicht Temperaturen über
50°C, offenen Flammen oder kondensierten
Lösungsmitteln ausgesetzt werden.
Der Betreiber der Anlage ist für die Einhaltung der
gesetzlichen Schadstoffgrenzwerte am Arbeitsplatz
verantwortlich.
Das Filtersystem darf nur in technisch einwand-
freiem Zustand in Betrieb genommen werden.
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern
ab 8 Jahren und darüber, sowie
von Personen mit verringerten
physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder
Mangel an Erfahrung und Wis-
sen benutzt werden, wenn sie
beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerä-
tes unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren
verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht
mit dem Gerät spielen.
Reinigung und Benutzer-War-
tung dürfen nicht von Kindern
ohne Beaufsichtigung durchge-
führt werden.
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Lötrauchabsaugung ist eine mobile Filtereinheit zur Abscheidung von Partikeln und Gasen. Das
Gerät wird zur Filtration von Abluft bei Löt-, Klebe-, Reinigungs-, Druckprozessen usw. verwendet und ist
für den industriellen Dauerbetrieb geeignet.
Das Gerät wurde für den Einsatz als Arbeitsächenabsaugung konzipiert und ist nicht geeignet für
Direktabsaugungen am Lötkolben.
Der bestimmungsgemäße Gebrauch schließt auch ein, dass
Sie diese Anleitung beachten,
Sie alle weiteren Begleitunterlagen beachten,
Sie die nationalen Unfallverhütungsvorschriften am Einsatzort beachten.
Für eigenmächtig vorgenommene Veränderungen am Gerät wird vom Hersteller keine Haftung
übernommen.

Betrieb
Nehmen Sie das Gerät wie im Kapitel „Inbetrieb-
nahme“ beschrieben in Betrieb.
Beachten Sie die jeweiligen Betriebsanleitungen der
angeschlossenen Geräte.
Überprüfen Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der
Angabe auf dem Typenschild übereinstimmt.
Gerät nur ausgeschaltet an die Steckdose an-
schließen.
Die bestmögliche Gasltration wird wie folgt
erreicht:
• Temperatur der Prozessluft im Gaslter < 38 °C
• Relative Feuchtigkeit < 60 %
• Gasmoleküle > 30 g/mol
(Filtration besser mit größeren Molekülen)
• Siedetemperatur der Gasmoleküle > 0 °C
Achtung!
Hohe Schadgaskonzentration führt zur
Erwärmung der Aktivkohle. Um eine
unzulässige Erwärmung auszuschließen
sollte das Gerät vor dem Abschalten für
mehrere Minuten schadgasfrei betrieben
werden.

Filterwechsel
Alarm ertönt und die gelbe Warnleuchte blinkt:
Empfohlene Lebensdauer des Filters ist verstri-
chen (siehe Filteranzeige Laufzeit/ Filteranzeige
Absaugleistung).
Alarm ertönt und die rote Warnleuchte leuchtet
durchgehend:
Saugleistung zu niedrig.
Die Filtereinheit abschalten. Düsen und Rohre
prüfen und bei Bedarf reinigen. Wenn der Alarm
beim nächsten Einschalten erneut ertönt, muss
der Filter gewechselt werden.
Werden keine Maßnahmen getroffen, schaltet sich
die Filtereinheit nach fünf Minuten ab, um eine
Überhitzung zu verhindern.
Beim Wechsel des Hauptlters wird die Filterzeit
wie folgt zurückgesetzt:
Die UP/DOWN gedrückt halten und gleichzeitig
den Schalter einschalten bis ein Signalton ertönt.
Tasten lösen und 5s warten und ausschalten.
Nach weiteren 5s Gerät einschalten, Filterzeit ist
zurückgesetzt.

Vor allen Arbeiten am Gerät Stecker
aus der Steckdose ziehen.

Specied Conditions Of Use
The solder fume extraction unit is a mobile lter unit for the separation of particulates and gases. The unit
is used for the ltration of exhaust air during soldering, gluing, cleaning, pressure processes etc., and is
suitable for continuous duty in industrial environments.
The unit is designed for use as a surface extraction unit and is not suitable for extracting fumes directly
from the soldering gun.
Intended use of the soldering station/ desoldering station also includes the requirement that you
adhere to these instructions,
observe all other accompanying documents,
comply with national accident prevention guidelines applicable at the place of use.
The manufacturer will not be liable for unauthorised modications to the device.
Warning!
Fire and explosion hazard!
The unit is not permitted to be used for the
extraction of inammable gases.
The unit must not be exposed to temperatu-
res above 50°C, naked ame or condensed
solvents.
The organisation operating the unit is responsible
for the observance of the legal limits for noxious
substances at the place of work.
The ltration system may only be put into operation if
it is in perfect working order.

Operation
Put the tool into operation as described in the
chapter „Placing into operation“.
Please adhere to the operating instructions of the
connected devices.
Check to see if the mains voltage matches the
ratings on the nameplate.
Make sure the machine is switched off before
plugging in.
Optimal gas ltration is achieved as follows:
• Temperature of process air in gas lter < 38 °C
• Relative humidity < 60 %
• Gas molecules > 30 g/mol (better ltration
results are achieved with larger molecules)
• Boiling point of the gas molecules > 0 °C
Caution!
A high noxious gas concentration will
cause the activated charcoal to heat up.
To avoid overheating, the unit should be
run without noxious gases for several
minutes before switching off.

Care and maintenance
Filter change
An alarm sounds and the yellow warning light
ashes:
Recommended service life of lter has expired.
(see Operating time lter display/Extraction capa-
city lter display)
An alarm sounds and the red warning light is
lit continuously:
Extraction capacity is too low.
Switch off the lter unit. Check the nozzles and
tubes, and clean them if necessary. If the alarm
sounds again the next time the unit is turned on,
the lter must be changed.
If no action is taken, the lter unit will cut out after
ve minutes in order to avoid overheating.
When changing the main lter the ltration time
can be reset as follows:
Keep the UP/DOWN buttons pressed and, at the
same time, turn on the switch until an audible
signal sounds. Release the buttons, wait 5s and
turn the unit off. Wait another 5s and turn the unit
on. Filtration time is now reset.
Warning!
Before doing any work on the machine,
pull the plug out of the socket.

Cleaning
To ensure that the unit functions properly, the nozzle, extractor arm and connecting hose must be clea-
ned on a regular basis.

Claims by the buyer for physical defects are time-barred after a period of one year from delivery to the
buyer. This does not apply to claims by the buyer for indemnication in accordance with §§ 478, 479
BGB (German Federal Law Gazette).
We shall only be liable for claims arising from a warranty furnished by us if the quality or durability warranty
has been furnished by use in writing and using the term „Warranty“.
Claims under warranty will be accepted by Weller.
The warranty shall be void if damage is due to improper use and if the device has been tampered with by
