Sicherheitshinweise
Bitte lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch
und benutzen Sie das Gerät ausschließlich gemäß dieser Anlei-
tung.
Personen mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder
geistigen Fähigkeiten dürfen das Gerät nicht benutzen, es sei
denn sie werden durch eine Betreuerin/einen Betreuer beaufsich-
tigt und unterwiesen.
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur zum Mahlen von Kaffee- oder
Espressobohnen. Mahlen Sie keine anderen Lebensmittel mit
dem Gerät. Füllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten in den Behälter.
Überfüllen Sie den Behälter nicht. Geben Sie maximal 90 Gramm
Mahlgut in den Behälter.
Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das mitgelieferte Zubehör.
Prüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme, ob die Nennspannung auf dem
Typenschild mit der vorhandenen Netzspannung übereinstimmt.
Bei Beschädigungen am Gerät oder des Netzkabels darf das
Gerät nicht weiter benutzt werden und muss von einer Fachkraft
repariert werden.
Führen Sie das Netzkabel nicht über scharfe Ecken und Kanten
oder heiße Oberflächen.
Seien Sie vorsichtig im Umgang mit den Schneiden am Messer.
Halten Sie Kinder fern, solange das Gerät in Betrieb ist. Lassen
Sie das Gerät nicht von Kindern oder sonstigen zu beaufsichti-
genden Personen benutzen.
Erhöhte Aufmerksamkeit ist erforderlich, wenn das Gerät im
Beisein oder in der Nähe von Kindern verwendet wird.
Beachten Sie bitte zur Vermeidung von Fehlfunktionen,
Schäden und gesundheitlichen Beeinträchtigungen
folgende Hinweise:

Stellen Sie die Kaffeemühle während des Betriebs auf eine
ebene Fläche. Stellen Sie die Maschine nicht in Waschbecken,
auf ein Abtropfblech oder eine schräge Fläche.
Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und nicht in der Nähe
von Gasflammen, Herdplatten oder anderen heißen Gegenstän-
den oder in einem Ofen.
Tauchen Sie das Motorteil niemals in Flüssigkeiten und halten es
nie unter fließendes Wasser.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen
oder es reinigen. Ziehen Sie nie am Netzkabel, sondern erfassen
Sie stets den Netzstecker.
Fassen Sie den Stecker nicht mit feuchten Händen an.
Zerlegen Sie das Gerät nicht und unternehmen Sie keine Repa-
raturversuche. Das Gerät enthält keine durch Sie auswechselba-
ren oder zu reparierenden Teile.
Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt.
Das Gerät darf nur in geschlossenen Räumen im Haushalt und
für ähnliche Zwecke verwendet werden, wie in Küchen für Mitar-
beiter in Läden, Büros sowie in anderen gewerblichen Bereichen
und in landwirtschaftlichen Anwesen. Außerdem darf das Gerät
von Gästen im Hotel, in Motels und anderen Wohneinrichtungen
sowie in Frühstückspensionen verwendet werden. Zweckent-

Please read these operating instructions carefully and only use
the appliance as described in this manual.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not
allowed to use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety
by a qualified person or are briefed by the responsible person
how to use the unit.
Use the unit only to grind coffee or espresso beans. Do not use it
for other foodstuffs. Do not fill liquids of any kind into the contain-
er.
Do not overfill the container. Do not fill more than 90 g into the
container.
Only use the included accessories.
Before first use, make sure the operating voltage stated on the
type label corresponds to the power mains voltage in your area.
Do not use the appliance if the power cord or other parts of the
appliance are damaged. Have the appliance repaired by an au-
thorized technician.
Do not allow the power cord to ride over sharp edges or corners
or close to hot surfaces.
Be careful when handling the sharp blades.
Keep children away from the appliance while in operation. Do not
allow children or other persons in need of supervision to use the
appliance.
Be very alert when using the appliance near children.
Always place the coffee grinder on a solid level surface. Do not
place the appliance in the sink, on a drying pan or on uneven
surfaces.
Do not use the appliance outdoors or near gas flames, oven
plates or hot elements, or inside an oven.

Never immerse the motor part of the appliance in liquids or hold it
under running water.
Pull the power plug while you are cleaning the unit or while you
are not using it. Do not unplug the plug from the socket by pulling
the power cord, always grasp the power plug.
Do not handle the plug with wet hands.
Do not disassemble the appliance and do not attempt to repair it.
The appliance does not include parts which can be exchanged or
repaired by you.
The device is not intended for continuous professional operation.
The device is intended to be used in closed rooms only and in
similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, offices
and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in ho-
tels, motels and other residential type environments; bed and
breakfast type environments. The use in any other way is not
considered as intended use.

Placez le moulin pendant le fonctionnement sur une surface
plane. Ne pas placer l'appareil dans l'évier, sur un plateau de
d’égouttement ou sur une surface inclinée.
Ne pas utiliser l'appareil à l'extérieur et pas dans les environs de
brûleurs à gaz, plaques de cuisson ou d’objets chauds ou dans le
four.
Ne plongez pas le bloc moteur dans du liquide ou ne le mettre
pas sous l'eau courante.
Débranchez lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé ou lors du nettoyage. Ne
jamais tirer sur le cordon d'alimentation, tirez sur la fiche. Ne
touchez pas la prise avec les mains mouillées.
Ne pas démonter l'appareil ou chercher de faire des réparations
vous-même. L'appareil ne contient aucune pièce remplaçable ou
réparable par l'utilisateur.
L'appareil n'est pas conçu pour un usage commercial. L'appareil
peut être utilisé uniquement à l'intérieur de la maison et utilisé à
des fins similaires, comme dans les cuisines des employés de
magasins et bureaux ainsi que dans d'autres secteurs industriels

Tenere lontani i bambini mentre l'unità è in funzione. Non lasciare

Maggiore attenzione è necessaria quando l'apparecchio viene
usato in presenza o in prossimità di bambini.
Posizionare il macinacaffè durante il funzionamento su una
superficie piana. Non posizionare l’apparecchio nel lavandino, su
una leccarda o su una superficie angolata.

Non immergere l'unità motore in liquidi o non tenerlo sotto l'acqua

Non tirare mai dal cavo di alimentazione, afferrare sempre la
spina. Non toccare la spina con le mani bagnate.
Non smontare il dispositivo e non cercare di effettuare alcuna

che possa essere sostituito o riparato da parte dell'utente.
Il dispositivo non è destinato all'uso commerciale. Il dispositivo

Gebrauch
Vor der ersten Benutzung
Machen Sie sich vor der ersten Benutzung mit dem Gerät ver-
traut. Beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise und verwenden Sie
das Gerät nur gemäß dieser Anleitung.
Entfernen Sie alle Verpackungsbestandteile von den Geräteteilen
und vom Zubehör.
Lassen Sie Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos herumliegen.
Plastiktüten etc. können zu einem gefährlichen Spielzeug für
Kinder werden.
Reinigen Sie anschließend alle Teile, wie im Kapitel „Reinigung“
beschrieben.
Inbetriebnahme
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker in eine Netzsteckdose. Stellen Sie die
elektrische Kaffeemühle auf eine ebene Fläche. Ihre Kaffeemühle
ist nun einsatzbereit.
Kaffee/Espresso mahlen
1. Ziehen Sie den Klarsichtdeckel (2) nach oben ab.
2. Geben Sie die gewünschte Menge Kaffeebohnen in den Behäl-
ter. Hilfe zur Dosierung finden Sie auf der folgenden Seite, wel-
che Ihnen einen Anhaltspunkt für die ersten Versuche bietet.
Beachten Sie, dass die Werte durch unterschiedliche Kaffeesor-
ten, verschieden große Tassen und Ihren eigenen Vorlieben ent-
sprechend abweichen können. Sicher werden Sie schon nach
kurzer Zeit die von Ihnen bevorzugte Menge ermittelt haben.
Füllen Sie die Kaffeebohnen nicht höher als bis zum Rand des
Behälters.
3. Setzen Sie den Deckel wieder auf. Achten Sie dabei auf die
Aussparung am Deckel. Nur bei vollständig geschlossenem De-
ckel kann der Ein-/Ausschalter (1) betätigt werden.

Gebrauch
4. Drücken und halten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter (1). Der Mahlvor-
gang startet. Betreiben Sie das Gerät nicht länger als 30 Sekun-
den ohne Unterbrechung.
5. Öffnen Sie den Deckel erst, wenn das Mahlmesser (3) völlig zum
Stillstand gekommen ist.
6. Das frisch gemahlene Kaffeemehl befindet sich im Behälter.
Verarbeiten Sie es sofort weiter, um das volle Aroma zu erhalten.
7. Ziehen Sie bei längerem Nichtgebrauch den Netzstecker.
Reinigung und Lagerung
Bitte ziehen Sie vor jeder Reinigung den Netzstecker! Tauchen
Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
Zum Reinigen des Gehäuses verwenden Sie nur ein trockenes
Tuch.
Deckel und Behälter können mit normalem Spülwasser gereinigt
werden. Sie sind nicht spülmaschinengeeignet.
Halten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter frei von Pulverresten.
Säubern Sie den Behälter und die Messereinheit mit einem
angefeuchteten Küchentuch oder mit einem Pinsel. Seien Sie
dabei vorsichtig und verletzen Sie sich nicht an den Schneiden
des Messers.
Meiden Sie zum Schutz der Oberflächen die Verwendung von
metallischen oder scharfen Gegenständen.
Benutzen Sie zur Reinigung keine aggressiven Reinigungssub-
stanzen o.ä.
Lagern Sie das Gerät im Innenbereich an einem trockenen, vor
Staub, Schmutz und extremen Temperaturen geschützten Ort.
Lagern Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern.

Wissenswertes über Kaffee
Für die Zubereitung eines guten aromatischen Kaffees ist es
wichtig, darauf zu achten, dass Kaffee in der richtigen, zur Kaf-
feemaschine passenden Mahlung verwendet wird.
Bei zu feiner Mahlung wird der Kaffee zu streng im Geschmack,
während bei zu grober Mahlung ein zu dünner, leer schmecken-
der Kaffee produziert wird.
Ein Mahlgrad, der zu grob im Verhältnis zur notwendigen Kon-
taktzeit ist, gewährleistet nicht, dass alle Geschmacks- und Aro-
mastoffe ausgenutzt werden können. Ein Teil des Wassers läuft
dann zu schnell durch den Filter.
Umgekehrt kann Kaffee mit zu feinem Mahlgrad dazu führen,
dass der Kaffee eine zu lange Kontaktzeit hat und damit einen
bitteren Geschmack erhält.
Ein weiteres Risiko bei zu fein gemahlenem Kaffee ist, dass der
Filter verstopft und das Wasser evtl. sogar über den Filterrand,
ohne mit dem Kaffee in Kontakt gekommen zu sein, in den Auf-
fangbehälter fließt.
Für eine kleine Tasse Kaffee rechnen Sie mit ca. 4 g Mahlgut.

Operation
Before first Use
Familiarise yourself with the unit before the first use. Note the
safety instructions and operate the unit only according to this
manual.
Remove all packaging from the unit and the accessories.
Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags
may become a deadly toy for children.
Then clean all components as described in the chapter “Clean-
ing”.
Operation
Plug the power plug into a suitable wall socket. Place the coffee
grinder on a level surface. The coffee grinder is now ready to use.
Grinding Coffee/Espresso
1. Lift the transparent lid (2) off the unit.
2. Put the desired quantity of grist into the container. On the next
page a few guidelines are printed, which will be of some help to
find the right dosing. Keep in mind that different kinds of coffee,
different preparations, different cup sizes and your own taste will
change the given values. With some experimenting you quickly
will determine what suits best for you.
Take care not to overload the unit. Do not fill the coffee beans
beyond the edge of the container.
3. Put the lid back on. Observe the notch on the lid. Only when the
lid is completely closed, the On/Off button can be operated.
4. Press and hold the On/Off button (1). The machine starts grind-
ing.
5. Do not remove the lid before the blades (3) are at complete
standstill.

6. Empty the freshly ground coffee made and immediately further
process it to preserve the full flavour.
7. If you do not use the unit for some time, please pull the power
plug.
Cleaning and Storing
Pull the power plug before cleaning the unit. Do not immerse the
unit in liquids of any kind.
Only use a dry cloth to clean the housing of the unit.
The transparent lid and container can be cleaned with water and
detergent. Do not clean it in the dishwasher.
Keep the On/Off button free from ground coffee.
Wipe the container and blade unit with a damp paper towel or
with a brush. Be careful not to cut yourself with the sharp blades.
Do not use metal or sharp objects, these may damage the
surfaces.
Do not use abrasives, aggressive chemicals or the likes to clean
the unit.
Store the unit indoors in a dry place that is protected from dust,
dirt and extreme temperatures.
Store the unit out of reach of children.

Things worth knowing about Coffee
For preparing a good, aromatic coffee, it is important to make
sure that coffee is ground to coarseness which suites to the ap-
propriate coffeemaker.
If the coffee is ground too fine, the coffee will be too strong and
rather bitter while a grind which is too coarse will produce thin,
watery coffee.
Coffee powder, which is ground too coarsely, will not be extract-
ed well and the water will pass through it too fast.
If the coffee is ground too fine, the water will be in the coffee
powder for too long and the coffee will be over extracted and
taste bitter.
Coffee ground too fine may also block the filter; the water may
not flow through the filter, but may flow around the filter without
passing through the coffee.
For a small cup of coffee count about 4 g of grist.
