Safety Instructions
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Prior to cleaning or maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from the power supply.
• DO NOT pull the power cord with force to move or
store the unit and the power plug is still inserted
into power source. The power cord might other-
wise be damaged leading to a potential re risk or
electric shock.
• DO NOT damage the power cord or power plug.
• DO NOT cut, ret, excessively twist, ‘wring’ or
squeeze the power cord.
• DO NOT put the power cord near a heat source or
place under a heavy object. This could lead to a re
or an electric shock.
• DO NOT use other power source than a voltage of
110-240V~ 50-60Hz. This could cause overheating
leading to a possible re.
• DO NOT place one’s nger, any metal object or
anything else into the air inlet, air/outlet or any gap.
The user might touch an internal component, lead-
ing to an electric shock or personal injury.
• DO NOT touch the power plug or any electrical
component with a wet hand. The user may suffer an
electric shock.
• DO NOT arbitrarily disassemble or ret the unit
otherwise it might function abnormally, causing a
re or electric shock. If any maintenance work is
required on the unit, please contact your local
customer care centre or distributor. Please see CS
contact information on previous page.
• DO NOT use damaged power plug or loose power
socket.
• DO NOT place any liquid receptacle (e.g. water bot-
tle) on any part of the unit.
• If one of the following abnormal or malfunctioning
situations occurs, please immediately stop using the
unit and pull the plug from its power source.
·Unit stops running when moving the power cord.
·Any control button fails.
·If the circuit breaker moves or fuse burns out.
·If the power cord or plug is abnormally warm
or heated.
·If there is a burnt smell, abnormal noise or vibration.
·If there is anything deemed abnormal.
Please contact your local service centre or
distributor to check the malfunction.
• Please periodically clean the power plug. If the unit
is operated in a humid environment or there is dust
on the plug, it may cause damage to the insulator
leading to a possible re.
·Pull out the power plug and clean it with a dry
cloth.
·If you do not intend to use the unit for a long period
of time, please unplug the unit.
• Please pull out the power plug before any
maintenance or cleaning work is undertaken.
As the unit might start functioning unexpectedly
causing an electrical shock or personal injury.
• Please fully insert the plug into the power source.
If not fully inserted, then power cord could become
overheated causing a possible re or an electric
shock.

• DO NOT place the unit in the following places.
– An uneven surface. Appliance might fall causing injury or product damage.
– A bathroom, shower room or other places where there is high temperature, high
humidity or the unit could get wet. Unit could suffer electrical short leading to a possible re
or an electric shock.
– A kitchen or similar place with cooking oil residue. Unit may slide or move and cause personal
injury.
– Locations where oil or other combustible gases might be leaking. Such an environment might
cause the unit to catch re.
- Places where the unit inlet/outlet is in close proximity to pets or animals.
- Places where the unit inlet/outlet is near household plants, may inhibit healthy growth of the
plant
• DO NOT wipe the unit using pertolium based or volatile solvents, or spray
the unit with insecticide. Casing might crack, resulting in a short circuit.
• DO NOT operate the unit when using pest control smoke or fog. Insecticide particles might
accumulate inside the unit resulting in the exhaust draft from the air outlet possibly causing
damage to health.
– Ventilate the room after using pest control fog, and then operate the unit.
• DO NOT place objects such as books or clothes near to or against the air outlet.
A blocked air outlet could cause smoke or even re.
• DO NOT sit or lean on the unit. The unit might turnover or crack, causing personal injury or unit
damage.
• DO NOT light a cigarette, cigar or burn incense near the unit. Since the HEPA Filter is made of
bre, if a spark is adsorbed into unit, it may cause re.

About NCCO (Nano Conned Catalytic Oxidation) Air Purication Technology
• NCCO Air Purication Technology has world-wide patents.
• The principle of NCCO technology is based on the efcient adsorption of pollutants through the
use of active oxygen to break the chemical bonds of the pollutant molecule and then decomposing
them to Carbon Dioxide and water molecules.
• Characteristics of the technology are extremely long lter/Reactor life, no secondary pollution,
sterilizes and removes carcinogenic pollutants such as formaldehyde and effectively deodorizes.
– Long life take example of adsorption capacity of activated carbon, which has a lifetime of only
about three months, on the contrary, NCCO product is available to sustainable use.
– No secondary pollution for other types of lters, they will be saturated relatively quickly
and thus release unabsorbed pollutants back into the air secondary pollution. NCCO

About Intelligent Power-Off Protection
WESTINGHOUSE NCCO Air Treatment Unit is designed using an Intelligent Power-Off Protection
System. The unit will intelligently power off with all extinguished indicators after continuous use over
a period of 8 hours and then will restart automatically after 30 minutes downtime. During downtime,
user may restart unit by pressing ON / OFF Button. Our Intelligent power-off system is able to
effectively avoid excessive load and eliminate any risk to overheatoing fan motor.

Patented NCCO Air Purication Technology Brings You Fresh and Clean Air.
Our patented NCCO (Nano Conned Catalytic Oxidation) technology used inside our
Westinghouse NCCO Air Treatment Unit is able to effectively remove ne
particulates, passive smoke, pollen, PM0.3, bacteria, viruses and more.
It brings you clean fresh air indoors when the outside air environment is polluted. The
unit has safe operation of up to 8 hours with it’s intelligent control of an automatic
power-off and re-start function after 30 minutes of rest (See ‘About Intelligent Pow-
er-Off Protection’ for further info).
For highest efciency of air ltration
• To remove indoor dust: Place unit on a at
surface in an open area where dust falls easy.
• For best air circulation: Place unit at least 15cm
(6”) from a wall, furniture, curtains etc,
otherwise its ltration efciency could be
diminished.
DO NOT place the unit in the following places
or areas.
• Direct sunlight, near air-conditioning unit
airflow or heat. This may cause distortion,
color change or reduced life.
• Near television, radio etc. This may cause
television or radio singal interference.
• Keep the unit 1m (3’) away from such devices.
DO NOT obstruct air inlet or outlet. This could
reduce efciency of air ltration by unit.
• DO NOT use the same power socket as one al-
ready used for television or radio. This may cause
television image or radio interference when
power plug is inserted into socket.
• Please use alternative power socket.

For the rst-time operation of the unit:
1. Please carefully read and retain the operation manual for future reference.
2. Remove all packaging materials, wipe all removable parts and grooves with a soft and dry cloth,
before assembling the parts.
3. Assemble the unit on a dry and level surface. Keep the unit at least 15cm (6”) away from wall or
surrounding objects for normal operation.
4. Check power socket and all external power cords to meet previoulsy noted operational
requirements. Make sure the unit has been connected with power supply before operation.
5. The unit is installed with inductor to induce lters’ location. If the lters have not been properly
installed, the unit won’t operate.
6. When rst switched on there warm air will be felt from the clean air out-put. This is perfectly
normal and is due to the manufacturing technique of the NCCO Reactor.

Installation Steps
1. Open Back Cover
Simultaneously press the
two buckles to open
back cover. 2. Remove Filter Packaging Materials
Please remove NCCO Reactor(left) and
HEPA Filter(right) from packing materials
3. Install Filters
Install NCCO Reactor rst into the 2 cavities of the
appliance, make sure the reactors click into place. Next
install the HEPA lters into the empty frames with the rib-
bon tab facing you (the screen pre-lter should already be
installed in the frame). The HEPA assembly then clips into
each cavity over the reactor with a solid click conrming
correct installation.
4. After installing all lters
Put the frames into unit and
close the back cover.

ON/OFF
ON: Crystal ring should be heard indicating unit is powered on after the
unit has been connected with power supply. Press ON / OFF Button to
turn unit on, indicators on the control panel will turn off after 1 minute
of inactivity of the control panel.
Press any button to wake up control panel for further operation.
OFF: Press ON / OFF Button again to turn off unit.
Fan Speed
Increase Speed: Press the Fan Speed Increase Button
right to the Display Screen to increase air speed.
Reduce Speed: Press the Fan Speed Reduce Button left
to the Display Screen to reduce air speed.
SS Mode (Turbo Mode)
When fan speed is at 10, simultaneously
press Fan Speed Increase Button and Fan
Speed Reduce Button to enter into SS Mode.
It is recommended to select SS/Turbo
mode to treat a seriously contaminated
environment in a short period of time.
Press Fan Speed Reduce Button or press ON
/ OFF Button to turn off unit and then turn
on unit again for turning back to Fan Speed
Mode with the default air speed at 10.

• WESTINGHSOUE NCCO Air Treatment Unit is designed using an Intelligent Power-Off
Protection System. The unit will intelligently power off with all extinguished indicators after
continuous use over a period of 8 hours and then will restart automatically after 30 minutes
downtime. During downtime, user may restart unit by pressing ON / OFF Button.
• If there is no further control after the unit has operated for 1 minutes, all indicators and Display
Screen will be extinguished, while other functions still normally operate. Press any one of the
buttons to wake up buttons and Display Screen.
DEFAULT AIR SPEED & MEMORY FUNCTION
Factory Setting: The default air speed is 03. When unit is
running, if user deliberately disconnects power supply
and then connects power supply to turn on unit, the air
speed will be reset to default value.
Memory Function: When unit is running, if user presses
the ON / OFF Button to turn off unit and then turns on
unit again, the unit will operate with the last air speed
(Excluding SS Mode).
ECO MODE
Enter Eco Mode: Press the Eco Mode Button to enter
into Eco Mode, where ‘Eo’ displays at the Screen.
Under Eco Mode, the unit operates with lower fan
speed, lower noise and dimmer indicators, and user
cannot increase / reduce fan speed.
Exit Eco Mode: Press the Eco Mode Button again
to exit Eco Mode and turn back to the last airspeed.
It is recommended to select Eco Mode during
overnight hours.
FILTER INSTALLATION SUGGESTION
If HEPA Filter or NCCO Reactor has not been
properly installed, four consecutive beeps, a Di-Di-
Di-Di sounds will be heard from unit and ‘EE’ will
display at Display Screen. The unit won’t operate.
Proper Operation: Disconnect power supply, open
unit cover to re-install lters. Four consecutive
beeps, a Di-Di-Di-Di sound, will stop and the unit will
resume to operate after proper installation.

Cleaning Method
WARNING
Always disconnect the power supply of
the unit before any maintenance or care
process is carried out (except replac-
ing lters). (Unit could cause electrical
shock or injury if unit is still running.)
Notice
• DO NOT clean the unit with any detergent.
• If cleaning the unit by using a cloth that is
chemically treated, please read and follow the
instructions on the cleaning product.
• During maintenance work, be careful not to
damage the disassembled parts or injure
yourself.
• If the HEPA Filter has not been installed, DO
NOT operate the unit as this could cause
irreversible damage to the NCCO Reactor.
• If the HEPA Filter is not replaced periodically as
indicated in instructions, it may seriously affect
the efciency of the NCCO Reactor.
Cleaning Pre-lter
The Pre-Filter can be cleaned with water, and
gently wiped dry before reassembling lter into
unit.
Cleaning Air Inlet and Air Outlet
Use a soft brush or light vacuum to clean
the air inlet and air outlet.
Notice
A damp (non-abrasive) cloth can
be used to clean the unit surface.
Notice
Never rinse or soak the HEPA Filter
or NCCO Reactor with water.

* The lters cleaning and replacement cycle may vary depending on the operating environment.
** If the HEPA Filter has not been replaced periodically or it has been damaged, and the surface of
the NCCO Reactor is covered with dust or oily substances after disassembling, the removal capacity
of the NCCO Reactor may be badly reduced and should be replaced.

Appliance Re-Set Procedure:
After lter or reactor replacment the appliance may need to be re-set. Please follow the steps below:
1. When ‘HP’ displays on Display Screen, turn off unit and long press the ON / OFF Button for
10 seconds until hearing a ‘Da’ sound. Then, press the Air Speed Reduce Button. ‘HF’ displays on
Display Screen for 3 seconds indicating that the unit has automatically exited the Test Mode.
User can turn on unit to operate it again.
2. When ‘nC’ displays on Display Screen, turn off unit and long press the ON / OFF Button for
10 seconds until hearing a ‘Da’ sound. Then, press the Air Speed Increase Button. ‘nF’ displays at
Display Screen for 3 seconds indicating that the unit has automatically exited the Test Mode.
User can turn on unit to operate it again.
Filter and Reactor Replacment:
1. Before disassembling the unit, disconnect the power supply. It is recommended to clean Pre-lter.
2. Filter lifetime will vary depending on the environment, amount of usage and location of the unit.
To maintain optimal operating condition of the unit, only use the recommended lter.
3. The Default operation time of HEPA Filter is 3,000 hours. Once the default time has been reached,
‘HP’ displays at Display Screen and all indicators icker;
4. The Default operation time of NCCO Reactor is 11,000 hours. the default time has been reached,
reached ‘nC’ displays at Display Screen and all indicators icker. The NCCO Reactor is designed for
long term use, this alert is a reminder to clean the machine, Reactor change may not be required.
5. When the NCCO Reactor needs to be replaced, it is also recommended to replace the HEPA Filter.

The unit emits an unusual smell or smoke (e.g. smoke, ames or burning).
Immediately turn off unit and disconnect power supply. Then contact your local
service center or authorized distributor service center for resolution.

FAQ
When the NCCO Reactor has operated for 11,000 hours, ‘nC’ displays on Display Screen
as a reminder to check the status of NCCO Reactor.
When ‘nC’ displays at Display Screen, under Power-Off state but without disconnecting
power supply, long press the ON/OFF Button for 10 seconds, where a ‘Da’ sound should
be heard from the unit. Then, press the Air Speed Increase Button. ‘nF’ will display at the
Display Screen for 3 seconds to exit reminding mode. Next, turn on the unit for normal
operation.
When the HEPA Filter has operated for 3,000 hours, ‘HP’ displays at Display Screen as a
reminder to check whether the HEPA Filter needs to be replaced.
When ‘HP’ displays on the Display Screen, under Power-Off state but without disconnecting
power supply, long press the ON/OFF Button for 10 seconds, where a ‘Da’ sound should be
heard from the unit. Then, press the Air Speed Reduce Button. ‘HF’ will display on the Display
Screen for 3 seconds to exit reminding mode. Next, turn on the unit for normal operation.
A ‘Di·Di·Di·Di’ sound is heard from the unit and the unit is not operational.
Please check if lters have been properly installed. If not, please re-install them.
Can the HEPA Filter be washed?
No, the HEPA Filter is made of composite material and washing will seriously affect
its purication capacity.
Air quality still has not improved even after operating for a long period of time.
When the unit is being used in a highly polluted area, the treatment process will take
a long time. Continue operating the unit in high airow mode until pollution
is reduced.

• Ne démontez pas ou ne remontez pas arbitrairement
l’unité, sinon elle pourrait fonctionner anormalement,
provoquant un incendie ou un choc électrique. Si des
travaux de maintenance sont nécessaires sur l’unité,

• N’utilisez pas de che d’alimentation endommagée ou
de prise de courant desserrée.
• Ne placez aucun récipient de liquide (par exemple une
bouteille d’eau) sur aucune partie de l’appareil.
• Si l’une des situations anormales ou de dys-
fonctionnement suivantes se produit, arrêtez im-
médiatement d’utiliser l’appareil et débranchez la
che de sa source d’alimentation.
· L’appareil s’arrête de fonctionner lors du déplace-
ment du cordon d’alimentation.
· Tout bouton de commande échoue.
· Si le disjoncteur bouge ou si le fusible grille.
· Si le cordon d’alimentation ou la che est anor-
malement chaudou chauffé.
· S’il y a une odeur de brûlé, un bruit anormal ou des
vibrations.
· Si quelque chose est jugé anormal.
Veuillez contacter votre centre de service local ou
distributeur pour vérier le dysfonctionnement.
• Veuillez nettoyer périodiquement la che d’alimen-
tation. S’il y a de la poussière sur la che lorsqu’elle
est utilisée dans un environnement humide, cela
pourrait endommager l’isolant et provoquer un
incendie.
· Retirez la che d’alimentation et nettoyez-la avec
un chiffon sec.
· Si vous n’avez pas l’intention d’utiliser l’appareil
pendant une longue période, veuillez brancher l’ap-
pareil.
• Veuillez débrancher la che d’alimentation avant
tout des travaux d’entretien ou de nettoyage sont
entrepris.(car l’appareil pourrait commencer à
fonctionner de manière inattendue, provoquant un
choc électrique ou des blessures.)
• Veuillez insérer complètement la che dans la
source d’alimentation. S’il n’est pas complètement
inséré, le cordon d’alimentation pourrait surchauffer
et provoquer un incendie ou un choc électrique.

- Une surface inégale. (l’appareil pourrait tomber et causer des blessures ou endommager

l’humidité ou l’appareil pourrait être mouillé. (L’appareil pourrait subir un court-circuit élec-

- Une cuisine ou un endroit similaire avec des vapeurs d’huile de cuisson. (L’unité peut glisser et

• N’essuyez pas l’appareil avec des solvants à base de pertolium ou volatils, l’unité avec un
insecticide. (le boîtier de l’appareil pourrait se ssurer, entraînant un court-circuit.)
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil lorsque vous utilisez de la fumée ou du brouillard antiparasitaire. (les
particules d’insecticide peuvent s’accumulent à l’intérieur de l’unité, ce qui entraîne le tirage
d’échappement de la sortie d’air pouvant causer des dommages à la santé.)
- Aérez la pièce après avoir utilisé du brouillard antiparasitaire, puis faites fonctionner l’appareil.
• Ne placez pas d’objets tels que des livres ou des vêtements à proximité ou contre la sortie
d’air. (une sortie d’air obstruée peut provoquer de la fumée ou même un incendie.)

• La technologie de purication de l’air NCCO possède des brevets mondiaux.
• Le principe de la technologie NCCO est basé sur une adsorption efcace des polluants grâce à
l’utilisation d’oxygène actif pour rompre les liaisons chimiques de la molécule polluante puis les
décomposer en dioxyde de carbone et en molécules d’eau.

À propos de la protection intelligente contre la mise hors tension
L’unité de traitement de l’air WESTINGHOUSE NCCO est conçue à l’aide d’une protection intelligente contre la
mise hors tension Système. L’unité s’éteindra intelligemment avec tous les indicateurs éteints après une
utilisation continue pendant une période de 8 heures, puis redémarrera automatiquement après 30 minutes
d’arrêt. Pendant les temps d’arrêt, l’utilisateur peut redémarrer l’unité en appuyant sur le bouton ON / OFF.
Notre système de mise hors tension intelligent est capable de éviter efcacement une charge excessive et
éliminer tout risque de surchauffe du moteur du ventilateur.
Technologie NCCO
La technologie brevetée de purication de l’air NCCO vous apporte un air frais et
pur. Notre technologie brevetée NCCO (Nano Conned Catalytic Oxidation) utilisée
à l’intérieur de notre unité de traitement de l’air Westinghouse NCCO est capable
d’éliminer efcacement les nes particules, fumée passive, pollen, PM0,3, bactéries,
virus et plus encore. Il vous apporte de l’air frais à l’intérieur lorsque l’air extérieur
est pollué. L’unité a un fonctionnement en toute sécurité jusqu’à 8 heures avec
son contrôle intelligent d’une fonction de mise hors tension et de redémarrage
automatique après 30 minutes de repos (voir “À propos de la protection intelligente
contre la mise hors tension” pour plus d’informations).
Pour une meilleure efcacité de ltration de l’air
• Pour éliminer la poussière intérieure: placez l’unité
sur unsurface dans une zone ouverte où la pous-
sière tombe facilement.
• Pour une meilleure circulation de l’air: placez l’appa-
reil à au moins 15 cm (6 po) d’un mur, d’un meuble,
de rideaux, etc.sinon, son efcacité de ltration sera
éventuellement diminuée.
Ne placez pas l’appareil dans les endroits suivants
ou zones.
• Lumière directe du soleil, près du ux d’air ou de
la chaleur de l’unité de climatisation. (Cela peut
provoquer une distorsion, changement de couleur ou
durée de vie réduite.)
• Près de la télévision, de la radio, etc. (Cela peut
interférence avec la télévision ou la radio.)
• Tenez l’appareil à 3 ’de ces appareils. N’obstruez pas
l’entrée ou la sortie d’air. (Cela pourrait réduire l’ef-
cacité de la ltration de l’air par unité.)
• N’utilisez pas la même prise d’alimentation que celle
déjà utilisée pour la télévision ou la radio. (cela peut
causerimage télévisée ou interférence radio lorsque
la che d’alimentation est insérée dans la prise.)
• Veuillez utiliser une prise de courant alternative.

Pour la première utilisation de l’unité:
1. Veuillez lire attentivement et conserver le manuel d’utilisation pour référence future.
2. Retirez tous les matériaux d’emballage, essuyez toutes les pièces amovibles et les rainures avec
un chiffon doux et sec, avant d’assembler les pièces.
3. Assemblez l’appareil sur une surface sèche et plane. Gardez l’appareil à au moins 6 po du mur ou
objets environnants pour un fonctionnement normal.
4. Vériez que la prise d’alimentation et tous les cordons d’alimentation externes sont conformes aux
exigences. Assurez-vous que l’unité a été connectée à l’alimentation électrique avant de l’utiliser.
5. L’unité est installée avec un inducteur pour induire l’emplacement des ltres. Si les ltres n’ont pas
été correctement installés, l’appareil ne fonctionnera pas.
6. Lors de la première mise en marche, de l’air chaud sera ressenti par la sortie d’air propre. C’est
parfaitement normal et est dû à la technique de fabrication du réacteur NCCO.

Etapes d’installation
1. Ouvrez le capot arrière
Appuyez simultanément
sur le deux boucles pour
ouvrir quatrième de
ouverture. 2. Retirez les matériaux d’emballage du ltre

et le ltre HEPA (à droite) des matériaux
d’emballage
3. Installer les ltres
Installez d’abord NCCO Reactor dans les 2 cavités du
appareil, assurez-vous que les réacteurs s’enclenchent.
Ensuite, installez les ltres HEPA dans les cadres vides avec
la languette du ruban face à vous (le préltre d’écran doit
déjà être installé dans le cadre). L’ensemble HEPA se clipse
ensuite dans chaque cavité sur le réacteur avec un clic
solide conrmant installation correcte.
4. Après avoir installé tous les ltres
Mettez les rames dans l’unité et
fermez le capot arrière.
