SAFETY INFORMATION
Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance
and keep it for future reference.
1. Use this fan only as described in this manual. Using the fan for
other purposes may cause a fire, hazards or an electric shock.
2. This product is intended for household use. It is designed for
indoor, non-commercial, non-industrial and general domestic
use in cooling rooms and is not intended for use in windows.
Do not use the product outdoors or for any other purpose.
3. To prevent the risk of electrical shock, always use the fan on a
dry, level surface. Do not place the fan near windows, immerse
the unit, plug or cord in water, or spray with liquids.
4. Close supervision must be provided when the appliance is used
by or near children.
5. Unplug the unit from the mains outlet when left unattended or
not in use, when moving the fan from one location to another,
and before cleaning.
6. Never submerge the unit in water.
7. Do not operate the unit in the presence of explosive and/or
flammable fumes.
8. Do not place the unit or any parts near open flames or next to
cooking or other heating appliances.
9. Never insert fingers or any other objects through the fan
guards. Never drop or insert objects into any opening of the
product.
10. Never plug the unit in with wet hands or a wet cord.

11. Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug. If the
cord or plug is damaged, discard the fan or return it to an
authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
12. Avoid contact with moving fan parts.
13. To disconnect the fan from the power supply, grip the plug and
pull it from the outlet. Do not pull on the cord.
14. Do not operate if the fan housing has been removed or
damaged.
15. To prolong the lifespan of the product, do not use the fan
continuously for 24 hours a day.

not use the fan near windows.

not use this fan with a solid state speed control device.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug, if it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not modify the plug in any way.

STAND FAN INSTRUCTIONS
1. Attach the outer tube (5) to the base (8) with the 4 screws (7)
as shown.
2. Loosen the height adjustment knob (4) on the outer tube and
extend the inner tube to the desired height.
3. Slide the cover ring (6) down the outer tube to rest on top of
the base.
Caution: The knob must be fully tightened before assembling
the fan head to the inner tube.
4. Secure the fan head (1) to the inner tube (3) with 1 screw (2).
FLOOR FAN INSTRUCTIONS
5. Attach the plastic connection plate (9) to the base (8) with the
4 screws (7) as shown.
6. Secure the fan head (1) to the connection plate (9) with 1 screw
(2).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Do not use this product near windows, as this may
cause an electric shock or result in personal injury and/or damage
to property.
1. Place the fan on a dry, level surface.
2. Make sure the rotary switch is in the “0” (OFF) position. Plug
the unit into a 120 V/AC, 60 Hz mains outlet.
3. Adjust the fan head vertically to the desired angle.
4. To turn on the unit, turn the rotary switch to position “1” (LOW),
“2” (MEDIUM) or “3” (HIGH).
5. To stop the unit, turn the rotary switch to the “0” (OFF)
position, and then unplug the unit from the mains outlet.
6. Unplug the product from the mains outlet when it is not in use
or is left unattended.

CLEANING AND CARE
WARNING: To avoid the risk of electric shock, always make sure
the product is unplugged from the mains outlet before cleaning
or servicing
1. The product should be cleaned and inspected on a regular
basis. Make sure the fan blade is clean at all times to prevent
damage and fading.
The fan can be cleaned in two ways:
a) Vacuum the fan blades or use a can of compressed air, or
b) Remove the front guard by removing the 6 screws securing
the grille to the fan (use a screwdriver with a magnetic tip).
2. To clean the front guard, turn counterclockwise to loosen the
screw and pull off the guard. To replace the front guard, align
the shaft with the inside groove on the guard and push inwards.
Screw the fastener on clockwise to tighten.
3. Take the guard off and wipe it with a cloth or use a can of
compressed air. Make sure the front guard is completely dry
before securing it back onto the fan.
4. Wipe the fan blades (do not remove) with a damp cloth dipped
in a light solution of water and mild detergent.
5. Make sure that water does not get into the motor while
cleaning.
6. The blade and rear guard (non-removable) must be completely
dry when the guard in place.
7. Do not use any chemical cleaners (e.g. acid or alcohol) to clean
the fan.
NOTE: This fan is not intended to be disassembled in order to
clean the internal parts (e.g. blade or motor). Disassembly may
damage the product. Never use liquids or abrasive cleaners to
clean the product.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Do not attempt to open any part of the motor
housing, as this may cause an electric shock. This product has
been lubricated at the factory and does not require further
lubrication. Additional lubrication of electric motor parts could
create a re hazard.
1. The product must be placed in its original packaging and
stored in a room with low humidity.
2. Make sure the product is completely dry before use.
Note: If you experience a problem, please return the fan to the
retailer. Do not attempt to open the motor housing yourself, as
doing so may cause damage to the fan or personal injury.
DISPOSAL
Proper disposal of this product.
This symbol indicates that this appliance may not be treated
as household waste. Instead, it should be taken to the
appropriate collection point for recycling electrical and
electronic equipment.

un autre et avant le nettoyage.
6. N’immergez pas l’unité dans l’eau.
7. N’utilisez pas l'appareil en présence de vapeurs explosives et /
ou inflammables.
8. Ne placez pas l’appareil ni aucune partie du ventilateur près de
flammes nues ou à proximité d’appareils de cuisson ou autres
appareils de chauffage.

9. N'insérez jamais vos doigts ou tout autre objet dans les grilles
du ventilateur.
Ne laissez jamais tomber et n’insérez pas d'objets dans les
ouvertures du produit.
10. Ne branchez jamais l'appareil avec les mains mouillées ou un
câble humide.
11. Ne faites pas fonctionner l’appareil avec un câble ou une fiche
endommagé. Si le câble ou la fiche est endommagé, jetez le
ventilateur ou renvoyez-le à un centre de service agréé pour le
faire examiner et / ou réparer.
12. Évitez tout contact avec les pièces mobiles du ventilateur.
13. Pour débrancher le ventilateur du secteur, saisissez la fiche et
retirez-la de la prise murale. Ne tirez pas sur le câble.
14. Ne faites pas fonctionner le ventilateur si le boîtier a été retiré
ou est endommagé.
15. Pour prolonger la durée de vie du produit, n'utilisez pas le
ventilateur en continu pendant 24 heures par jour.
16. AVERTISSEMENT : Pour réduire les risques d'électrocution ou
de blessure, n'utilisez pas le ventilateur près des fenêtres.
17. AVERTISSEMENT : Pour réduire les risques d’incendie ou de

INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION DU VENTILATEUR SUR PIED
1. Fixez le tube externe (5) à la base (8) à l’aide des 4 vis (7)
comme illustré.
2. Desserrez le bouton de réglage de la hauteur (4) sur le tube
externe et étirez le tube interne à la hauteur souhaitée.
3. Faites glisser la bague de couverture (6) vers le bas du tube
externe pour qu’elle repose sur la base.
Attention : Le bouton doit être complètement serré avant de
monter la tête du ventilateur sur le tube interne.
4. Fixez la tête du ventilateur (1) au tube interne (3) avec une vis
(2).

5. Fixez la plaque de connexion en plastique (9) à la base (8) à
l’aide des 4 vis (7) comme illustré.
6. Fixez la tête du ventilateur (1) à la plaque de connexion (9)
avec une vis (2).
INSTRUCTIONS DE
FONCTIONNEMENT
AVERTISSEMENT : N'utilisez pas ce produit près de fenêtres car
cela pourrait provoquer une décharge électrique, des blessures
corporelles et / ou des dégâts matériels.
1. Placez le ventilateur sur une surface plane et sèche.
2. Assurez-vous que l’interrupteur rotatif est en position « 0 »
(ARRÊT). Branchez l’appareil dans une prise 120 V/AC, 60 Hz.
3. Ajustez la tête du ventilateur verticalement jusqu’à l'angle
souhaité.
4. Pour mettre l'appareil en marche, tournez l’interrupteur rotatif
sur la position « 1 » (LENT), « 2 » (MOYEN) ou « 3 » (RAPIDE).
5. Pour éteindre l'appareil, tournez l’interrupteur rotatif sur la
position « 0 », puis débranchez l’unité de la prise secteur.
6. Débranchez le produit de la prise secteur lorsqu'il n'est pas
utilisé ou qu'il est laissé sans surveillance.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
AVERTISSEMENT : Pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique,
assurez-vous toujours que le produit est débranché de la prise
secteur avant de le nettoyer ou de le réparer.
1. Le produit doit être nettoyé et inspecté régulièrement.
Assurez-vous que la pale du ventilateur est toujours propre
pour éviter les dommages et la décoloration.
Le ventilateur peut être nettoyé de deux manières :
a) Passez l’aspirateur dans les pales du ventilateur ou utilisez
de l’air comprimé.
b) Retirez la grille avant en retirant les 6 vis qui la fixent au
ventilateur (utilisez un tournevis à pointe magnétique).
2. Pour nettoyer la grille avant, tournez la vis dans le sens inverse
des aiguilles d’une montre pour la desserrer et retirez la grille.
Pour replacer la grille, alignez l’arbre avec la rainure intérieure
de la grille et poussez-le vers l'intérieur. Vissez la fixation dans
le sens des aiguilles d'une montre pour serrer.
3. Enlevez la grille et essuyez-la avec un chiffon ou utilisez de l'air
comprimé. Assurez-vous que la grille avant est complètement
sèche avant de la fixer sur le ventilateur.
4. Essuyez les pales du ventilateur (ne les enlevez pas) avec un
chiffon humide imbibé d'une solution légère d'eau et d'un
détergent doux.
5. Assurez-vous que l'eau ne pénètre pas dans le moteur pendant
le nettoyage.
6. La pale et la protection arrière (non amovible) doivent être
complètement sèches une fois la grille en place.
7. N'utilisez aucun produit de nettoyage chimique (acide ou
alcool, par exemple) pour nettoyer le ventilateur.
REMARQUE : Ce ventilateur n’est pas destiné à être démonté
an de nettoyer les pièces internes (par exemple, la pale ou le
moteur). Le démontage peut endommager le produit. N’utilisez
jamais de liquides ou de nettoyants abrasifs pour nettoyer le
produit.

MAINTENANCE
AVERTISSEMENT : N'essayez pas d'ouvrir le boîtier du moteur
sous peine de provoquer un choc électrique. Ce produit

supplémentaire. Une lubrication supplémentaire des pièces du
