Read this manual thoroughly before first use. It contains important
information for your safety as well as for the use and maintenance
of the appliance. Keep these instructions for future reference and
pass them on to possible new owners of the appliance.
1. Use the appliance only as described in this manual. Using the

on the rating plate of the appliance (120V ~ 60Hz) matches
your local voltage.
3. This appliance is NOT recommended to be used with an
electrical extension cord, as this will greatly increase the risk of
fire and/or electric shock.
4. This appliance is intended for household use only. It is not
intended for commercial, industrial or outdoor use.
5. To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, do not place the
appliance near a window where it may be exposed to rain.
Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or
any other liquids.
6. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above and
by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning the use of the appliance
in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance
must not be done by children unless they are older than 8 years
of age and supervised by an adult.

7. Close supervision must be provided when the appliance is used
by or near children.
8. WARNING! Avoid contact with moving parts. Never insert
fingers, pencils or other objects into the air inlets/outlets or any
openings on the appliance, as this may cause an injury, electric
shock, fire, or damage to the appliance. Keep hands, hair,
clothing, and jewelry away from the air inlets/outlets during
operation to prevent injury.
9. Place the appliance upright on a level and stable surface. Use
the appliance indoors, in a dry and well ventilated area.
10. WARNING! Do not let the power cord hang over the edge
of a table or counter. Ensure that the power cord is not in a
position where it can be tripped over or pulled by children or
pets.
11. CAUTION! To prevent the risk of fire, always keep the air
inlets and outlets on the appliance clear of obstructions. Do not
place the appliance directly against the wall or use it in close
proximity to curtains, tablecloths, etc.
12. WARNING! Always unplug the appliance from the wall
socket before:
- moving the appliance,
- cleaning or storing.
13. Never leave the appliance unattended during use or while it is
connected to the wall socket. Turn o and unplug the appliance
when it is not in use.
14. To disconnect the appliance from the mains, grip the plug and
pull it from the wall outlet. Do not pull on the cord.
15. Never touch the appliance or plug with wet hands, as this may
cause an electric shock.
16. Do not use the appliance in the presence of explosive and/or
flammable fumes.
17. Do not place the appliance or any parts near open flames or
next to cooking or other heating appliances.

POLARIZED PLUG
The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY THIS PLUG OR ATTEMPT TO
DEFEAT ITS SAFETY FEATURE IN ANY WAY.

USING THE APPLIANCE
1. Place the tower fan upright on a dry, level and stable surface.
2. Ensure the Control knob is in the “0” (OFF) position, and then
plug the power cord firmly into a 120 V ~ 60 Hz wall socket.
3. Turn the Control knob to select the desired function. The
Control knob has two OFF positions and can be turned 360
degrees in either direction.
4. To turn o the tower fan, turn the Control knob to the “0”
position.
WARNING! Always turn o and unplug the appliance from the
wall socket when it is not in use to disconnect it completely from
the power supply.
CLEANING AND CARE
1. WARNING! Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance
from the wall socket.
2. WARNING! To avoid electrical hazards, never immerse the
appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquids.
Never rinse them under the tap or spray with liquids. Make sure
water does not get into the electrical parts of the appliance
while cleaning.
NOTE: Do not use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning
agents, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the
appliance. Never use gasoline, benzene, thinner or alcohol to clean
the appliance.
• Clean the appliance on a regular basis to keep it in good
condition.
• Wipe down the exterior of the appliance with a soft cloth/
sponge lightly moistened with water or soapy water to remove
dirt and dust.
• Dry the appliance completely after cleaning.

9. Placez l’appareil en position verticale sur une surface plane et stable.
Utilisez l'appareil à l'intérieur, dans un endroit sec et bien ventilé.
10. AVERTISSEMENT ! Ne laissez pas le câble d'alimentation
pendre du bord d’un comptoir ou d’une table. Assurez-vous
que le câble d'alimentation n'est pas mis dans un lieu où il
pourrait provoquer une chute ou être tiré par des enfants ou
des animaux domestiques.
11. ATTENTION ! Pour éviter tout risque d'incendie, gardez
toujours les entrées et sorties d'air de l'appareil dégagées de
tout obstacle. Ne placez pas l'appareil directement contre un
mur et ne l'utilisez pas à proximité de rideaux, d’une nappe, etc.
12. AVERTISSEMENT ! Débranchez toujours l'appareil de la prise
murale avant:
- de déplacer l’appareil.
- de nettoyer l’appareil et de le ranger.
13. Ne laissez jamais l'appareil sans surveillance pendant son
utilisation ou lorsqu'il est connecté à la prise murale. Débranchez
l’appareil de la prise murale lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé.
14. Pour débrancher l’appareil du secteur, saisissez la fiche
et retirez-la de la prise murale. Ne tirez pas sur le câble
d’alimentation.
15. Ne touchez jamais l'appareil ou la fiche avec les mains
mouillées, car cela pourrait provoquer un choc électrique.
16. N’utilisez pas l'appareil en présence de vapeurs explosives et /
ou inflammables.
17. Ne placez pas l’appareil ni aucune partie de l’appareil près de
flammes nues ou à proximité d’appareils de cuisson ou autres
appareils de chauage.
18. DANGER D’ÉLECTROCUTION ! N'utilisez jamais cet appareil

PRISE POLARISÉE

polarisée dans un sens. Si la fiche ne s'insère pas

UTILISATION
UTILISATION DE L'APPAREIL.
1. Placez le ventilateur en position verticale sur une surface sèche,
plane et stable.
2. Assurez-vous que le bouton de contrôle est en position
«0» (Arrêt), puis branchez fermement la prise du câble
d'alimentation dans une prise murale de 120 V ~ 60 Hz.
3. Tournez le bouton de contrôle pour sélectionner la fonction
souhaitée. Le bouton de contrôle dispose de deux positions
d’arrêt et peut être tourné à 360 degrés dans les deux sens.
4. Pour éteindre le ventilateur vertical, tournez le bouton de
contrôle en position «0».
AVERTISSEMENT ! Éteignez et débranchez toujours l'appareil
de la prise murale lorsqu'il n'est pas utilisé pour le déconnecter
complètement de l'alimentation électrique.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
1. AVERTISSEMENT ! Débranchez toujours l'appareil de la
prise murale avant de le nettoyer.
2. AVERTISSEMENT ! Pour éviter les risques électriques,
n’immergez jamais l'appareil, le câble d'alimentation ou la fiche
dans l'eau ou dans tout autre liquide. Ne les rincez jamais sous
l’eau du robinet et ne les vaporisez jamais de liquide. Assurez-
vous que de l'eau ne pénètre pas dans les pièces électriques de
l’appareil pendant le nettoyage.
REMARQUE : N'utilisez jamais de solvants, de produits de
nettoyage chimiques ou abrasifs, de brosses métalliques ou
de tampons à récurer pour nettoyer le produit. N'utilisez pas
d'essence, de benzène, de diluant ou d'alcool pour nettoyer
l'appareil.
• Nettoyez régulièrement l'appareil pour le maintenir en bon état.
• Pour enlever la saleté et la poussière, essuyez l'extérieur de
l'appareil avec un chion doux, une éponge imbibée d'eau ou
d'eau savonneuse tiède.
• Séchez complètement l'appareil après le nettoyage.
• Ce ventilateur nécessite un entretien minimal et ne contient
aucune pièce réparable par l'utilisateur. NE tentez PAS de

RANGEMENT

frais, loin de la poussière.
