17. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.
18. Do not place the cord under soft furnishings such as carpets,
rugs, throws or runners, furniture or appliances. Arrange the
cord in a location where it cannot be easily caught on or

20. To disconnect the appliance from the mains, grip the plug and
pull it out from the wall outlet. Do not pull the cord.
21. Do not operate the appliance if the fan housing is not properly

appliance. Keep long hair and loose clothing away from the

25. Do not operate the appliance outside of the ambient
temperature range 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C).
26. This appliance is classified as Class II. The appliance has
reinforced insulation and is not required to be electrically
earthed.

POLARIZED PLUG
The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does
not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

POWER SUPPLY
WARNING:

BEFORE FIRST USE
• Unpack and remove all packaging materials from the appliance.
• Check for damage that may have occurred during transport.
If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use the appliance
and return it to your retail outlet immediately.
ASSEMBLING THE BASE
WARNING! Always unplug the appliance before assembly or
disassembly.
1. Loosen the base locking nut from the bottom of the unit by
turning it anticlockwise. Put it down the length of the power
cord as shown in (Picture 1).
2. Run the power cord through the central gap between the two
halves of the nu-assembled base as shown in (Picture 2).
3. Connect two halves by pushing the plastic pegs on each half
into the corresponding slots on the other half as shown in
(Picture 3-5).
4. Fasten the locking nut by turning it clockwise between the
round base and the fan body as shown in (Picture 6).

IMPORTANT: Make sure that the power cord passes through the
guides on the rear half of the base.
SETTING UP THE REMOTE CONTROL
Pull the plastic film from the battery compartment.
Operating the remote control: Point the remote control at the
infrared sensor making sure there are no obstacles. The remote
control range is 16.4 feet.
CHANGING THE BATTERY
1. Push the release button inwards and pull the battery casing
out. Remove the old battery.
2. Insert 1 x CR2025 3V battery ensuring you follow the polarity
(+and -) marked on the casing.
3. Slide the battery casing back into the remote control until you
hear it click into place.
WARNING: Do not expose the infrared sensor to direct sunlight or
other strong light, such as a florescent light.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: The remote control buttons are the same as the control
panel buttons.
1. Place the fan on a dry, level and stable surface.
2. Insert the plug into a 120 V AC / 60 Hz outlet. A beep will
sound, and the current temperature will display.
3. Touch the POWER button to turn on the fan. The fan will turn
on in low speed.
4. Touch the SPEED button repeatedly to select the fan speed:

Medium
High
5. The timer can be set to turn o the fan in 1 to 12 hours time.
Touch the TIMER button repeatedly to select the time (01H,
02H, 03H etc.). The timer icon will display when the timer
mode is in use. The display will revert to showing the current
temperature once the timer is set.
6. Touch the MODE button repeatedly to select one of the
following options:
Icon Mode
No icon Normal
Natural – the fan cycles through the dierent
speed levels:
Sleep – the display will turn o and leave only
the sleep icon on the display. The fan gradually
reduces the speed level from setting speed
every 30 minutes until it reaches low speed.
Then the fan will stay in low speed until it is
turned o.

7. Touch the OSCILLATION button to swing the fan through
70degrees. The oscillation icon will turn on. Touch it again
to stop the fan oscillating. The oscillation icon will turn o.
8. When you are not using the fan, touch the POWER button to
turn it o and unplug the appliance to disconnect it completely
from the power supply.
• WARNING! Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance
from the wall socket. Never immerse any part of the appliance
in liquid or spray water on it. Make sure liquids never get into
the electrical parts of the appliance.
• Do not use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire
brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the appliance.
1. Clean the fan regularly to ensure product longevity.
2. Wipe the exterior with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
3. Dry thoroughly.
STORAGE
If you are not using the fan for a long period, remove the batteries
from the remote control and store it in the remote control slot.
Then store the appliance upright in its original packaging or in a
dust-free, dry environment away from direct sunlight.
