SAFETY INFORMATION
Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance
and keep it for future reference.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with
any solid-state speed control device.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, the plug is intended to
fit into a polarized outlet in one orientation. If the plug does not
fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug and insert it in the other
orientation. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
RULES FOR SAFE OPERATION
1. Do not leave the fan running unattended.
2. Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects through the
grille when the fan is running.
3. The fan must be powered using the rated voltage.
4. Ensure that the fan is properly assembled before connecting it
to the power supply.
5. Disconnect the power cord before moving the fan.
6. Always unplug the fan before cleaning or disassembling.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Unwind the cable attached to the fan and plug it directly into
a USB port on your computer. This fan can also be plugged
directly into a USB hub attached to a computer.
2. The fan can be plugged into a wall-mounted mains socket
using the AC adapter provided. Simply insert the USB plug into
the AC adapter and plug the adapter into a 120 V/AC / 60 Hz
household mains socket.
3. The USB plug can be connected to the AC adapter provided or
any powered USB port.
4. To start the fan, turn the switch from the OFF position to
the ON position. To turn the fan off, turn the switch from the
current fan speed setting to the OFF position and remove the
plug from outlet.

CLEANING AND CARE
1. Ensure that you unplug the power supply before cleaning or
disassembling the fan.
2. Keep the air vents at the rear of the motor housing free from
dust and other debris. To clean the air vents, unplug the fan and
remove dirt with a vacuum cleaner. Do not probe any opening
to remove dirt. Wipe the exterior using a cloth moistened
with a mild liquid detergent. Do not use any abrasive cleaning
agents or solvents that may scratch or damage the surface.
Ensure that the fan is completely dry before using it again.
3. Do not allow water or any other liquids to get inside the motor
housing.

Pour réduire les risques d’incendie ou de choc électrique, n’utilisez
pas le ventilateur avec un dispositif de contrôle de la vitesse à semi-
conducteurs.
Cet appareil est doté d’une fiche polarisée (une des lames est plus
large que l’autre). Pour réduire le risque de choc électrique, cette
fiche est conçue pour être insérée dans une prise polarisée dans un
sens. Si la fiche ne s'insère pas complètement dans la prise, inversez-
la. Si elle ne s'adapte toujours pas, contactez un électricien qualifié.
Si le problème persiste, contactez un électricien qualifié. Ne tentez
pas de neutraliser cette fonction de sécurité.
RÈGLES POUR UN
FONCTIONNEMENT SÉCURITAIRE
1. Ne laissez pas le ventilateur en marche sans surveillance.

INSTRUCTIONS DE
FONCTIONNEMENT
1. Déroulez le câble connecté au ventilateur et branchez-
le directement sur un port USB de votre ordinateur. Ce
ventilateur peut également être branché directement sur un
concentrateur USB connecté à un ordinateur.
2. Le ventilateur peut être branché sur une prise murale à l'aide
de l'adaptateur secteur fourni. Insérez simplement la fiche USB
dans l'adaptateur secteur et branchez l'adaptateur dans une
prise secteur domestique de 120 V / CA / 60 Hz.
3. La fiche USB peut être connectée à l’adaptateur secteur fourni
ou à n’importe quel port USB alimenté.
4. Pour démarrer le ventilateur, tournez le commutateur de la
position OFF à la position ON. Pour éteindre le ventilateur,
réglez le sélecteur de vitesse du ventilateur sur OFF et retirez
la fiche de la prise.

5. Débranchez le câble d'alimentation avant de déplacer le

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
1. Assurez-vous de débrancher le câble d’alimentation avant de
nettoyer ou de démonter le ventilateur.
2. Gardez les grilles d'aération situées à l'arrière du boîtier du
moteur exemptes de poussière et autres débris. Pour nettoyer
les bouches d'aération, débranchez le ventilateur et enlevez
les impuretés à l'aide d'un aspirateur. Ne forcez aucune
ouverture pour enlever la saleté. Essuyez l'extérieur avec un
chiffon imbibé d'un détergent liquide doux. N'utilisez pas de
produits de nettoyage abrasifs ni de solvants pouvant rayer ou
endommager la surface. Assurez-vous que le ventilateur est
complètement sec avant de le réutiliser.
3. Ne laissez pas d'eau ou d'autres liquides pénétrer à l'intérieur
du boîtier du moteur.
