Calibration
of Grinder
Blades
For all Primo
Compact and
Primo X machines

If the machine has 2 grinders these must both be calibrated using the
correct beans for each grinder.
Run test grinds to check consistency of the coffee.
Too fine and it will cause the drink to run too slowly, too coarse and it will
run too fast and will be too weak.
GRINDER BLADE
CALIBRATION FOR
PRIMO COMPACT & X
You should be able to form a
"peak" in the palm of your hand
but the coffee should not feel
too compact.

Ensure this is done ONLY
WHILST THE BLADES
ARE GRINDING.
If the grind is too coarse -
adjust pin CLOCKWISE - to
move the blades closer
together.
If the grins is too fine -
adjust pin ANTI-
CLOCKWISE - to move the
blades further apart.
Making the manual adjustments:
Once you are happy with
the setting of the grinder
blades then you need to
calibrate the weight of the
coffee being dispensed.
On the machine - enter
the OPERATOR MENU -
(using code 11111).
ALWAYS ADJUST WHILST THE GRINDER IS RUNNING!
Calibrating the weight of coffee:

Enter SERVICE MENU -
(using code 22222)
Scroll down to the
INGREDIENTS/INGREDIENTS
MANAGEMENT menu.

Enter the
CALIBRATION/CALIBRATION
INGREDIENTS menu.
Take a reference grind
and weight the coffee.
Repeat 3 times and divide
by 3 (to get an average
weight).

Enter the average figure
as the amount dispensed.
Be sure to enter
"save/ok" at the bottom
right of the screen.
Return to home screen.
Take a test vend from the
each selection.
