IMPORTANT
Be ore you begin: Open, i entify an count all parts prior to assembly. Lay out parts on a flat an
non-abrasive surface. You will nee the parts i entifie on page 5 an 6 of this instruction manuals.
NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO USE GLUE WITH DOWELS. EXCESS GLUE CAN BE WIPED
OFF WITH DAMP CLOTH.
Insert the owel at least half way by tapping lightly with a rubber mallet, IF NECESSARY.
CAM LOCK SYSTEM OPERATION
HOW THE KNOCK DOWN (KD) ASSEMBLY SYSTEM WORKS
1. Screw the Cam Bolt into the threa e inserts on the panel. Connect both panels together; making sure Cam
Bolt goes into the pre- rille hole on the en of panel for Cam Lock.
2. Insert the Cam Lock into the pre- rille large hole on the panel. Make sure the arrow on the face of Cam
Lock faces out an points towar s Cam Bolt.
3. Take a Phillips screw river an rotate the Cam Lock clockwise to lock the Cam Bolt in place.
You are now rea y to assemble the KD unit.

Utility Drawer Assembling
1. Unpack the unit an confirm that you have all the har ware an require parts. Assemble the unit on a
carpete floor or the empty carton to avoi any scratch.
2. Securely screw the Cam Tapping Bolts (3) into the esignate small holes on the Utility Drawer Front
(F an L) using a Phillips screw river.
3. Attach an align the Drawer Si e Panels (H an I) to the Drawer Front (F) by engaging 4 Small Cam
Locks (1) (Refer to page 3 on Cam Lock system operation supplement).

4. Sli e the Drawer Bottom Panel (J) all the way into the grooves.
5. Align an attach the Drawer Bottom Support (K) to the Drawer Front (F) by engaging 2 Small Cam
Lock (1) as shown.

6. Fasten the Drawer Back Panel (G) to the Drawer Si e Panels (H an I) an the Drawer Bottom Support
(K) with six 38 mm Screws (5). Make sure that Drawer Bottom Panel (J) fits securely into the groove of
the Drawer Back Panel (G).
7. Turn the assemble rawer upright.
8. Attach the Drawer Pull (9) to the top si e of the Drawer Front (F) with two 12 mm Flat Hea Screws
(10).

9. Glue the M6 x 30 mm Woo Dowels (8) into the inner holes of File Drawer Si e Panels (N an O).
NOTE: It is very important to use a small amount of glue on both en s of owels.
10. Attach an align the Drawer Si e Panels (N an O) to the Drawer Front (L) by engaging 4 Small Cam
Locks (1) (Refer to page 3 on Cam Lock system operation supplement).

13. Fasten the Drawer Back Panel (M) to the Drawer Si e Panels (N an O) with six 38 mm Screws (5).
Make sure that Drawer Bottom Panel (P) fits securely into the groove of the Drawer Back Panel (M).

16. Position Gui e Rails (R) onto the Drawer Si e Panels (N an O) with the high si e facing inwar .
17. Hook 4 Gui e Blocks (S) onto the high e ge of Gui e Rails. Now set the File Plates (T) into the slot of
Gui e Blocks. Sli e the File Plates front an back to keep hanging files organize .
18. Glue the M8 x 30 mm Woo Dowels (4) into the inner holes on the Back Panel (D) an the Front
Crossbars (E).

19. Securely screw the Cam Bolts (7) into the esignate threa e sockets on the Si e Panels (A an B)
using a Phillips screw river.
20. Securely screw the Cam Tapping Bolts (3) into the esignate small holes on the Top Panel (C) an
Si e Panels (A an B) using a Phillips screw river.

21. Align an attach the Back Panel (D) to the Right Si e Panel (B) by engaging 3 Large Cam Locks (2).
22. Align an attach the Front Crossbars (E) to the Right Si e Panel (B) by engaging 2 Large Cam Locks (2)
in each.

23. Repeat the previous steps to attach the Left Si e Panel (A) at the opposite en .

25. Fasten the Top Panel (C) to the Si e Panels (A an B) with the 12 mm Pan Hea Screws (6).
26. Insert the assemble rawers into frame. To insert the assemble rawers into your unit, exten the Ball
Bearing Sli e Tracks on the Si e Panels (A an B) all the way forwar (inclu ing ball bearing cart).
Then, align the Sli e Runners on the assemble rawers with the Sli e Tracks an push the rawer
carefully insi e until it stops.
NOTE: If the rawer oes not go in smoothly, please take it out an repeat the step. If you nee to
remove the rawer, please pull the rawer all the way out, then simultaneously push the plastic release
lever of the ball bearing sli es up on one si e an own on the other si e, an then pull it completely
out.

Assembly Instructions
Tools require (not inclu e ): Phillips screw river, stu fin er, tape measure, pencil, power rill an 1/8” rill bit.
27. Position the assemble unit at the esire location against a wall. If necessary, a just the Floor Levelers
at the bottom of the Si e Frames to level the unit.
28. Now, follow the instructions printe on the plastic bag containing the Tipping Restraint Har ware to
attach the tip-over restraints to the unit an the wall.
NOTE: The tipping restraint har ware inclu e is for woo en stu wall construction. It must be
attache to a wall stu . Depen ing upon your wall construction, ifferent anchor har ware maybe
require . Please contact your local har ware store for assistance. Young chil ren can be seriously
injure by tipping furniture. You must install the tipping restraint har ware with the unit to prevent the
unit from tipping, causing any acci ents or amage. The tipping restraints are inten e only as a
eterrent, they are not a substitute for proper a ult supervision. The tipping restraints are not earthquake
restraints. If you wish to a the extra security of earthquake restraints, they must be purchase an
installe separately
