cleaned, washed, soaked in, or spottedwith
wax, paint, gasoline, oil,dry cleaning
solvents, and otherflammable fluids.The
fumes can create a fire hazard or explosion.
Always hand wash and linedry items
containingthese materials.
•Do notallow childrentooperate, playwith or
crawl insideyour dryer. Supervise children
when yourdryer isused near children.
•Do notreach intoa dryerifthe drum
ismoving.
•When removingfromservice or discarding
a dryer, always remove the door to prevent
accidental entrapment.
•DOnotdry rubber, rubber-like,and heat
sensitive matedals with heat.
•Installand/or store dryerwhere itwill not
be exposed tothe weather.
•Do nottamper with the controls.
•You are responsiblefor makingsure that
your dryer isinstalled,repaired and has
parts replaced by s qualifiedperson.
•Use onlyfabric softenersspecifically
labeled as not being harmfulto the dryer.
•Do not allowlintto build-upinside the dryer
or exhaust system.Cleaning shouldbe
done periodicallyby a qualifiedperson.
•Clean lintscreen beforeor aftereach load.
•Do not let dust,lint,paper, rags, chemicals,
etc. pileup aroundor under the dryer.
•Dryer must be electricallygrounded. See
the InstallationInstructions.
Understanding your responsibilities
•Never operate the dryerif:
-it is notworking right(i.e. noisy,
too hot).
-it is damaged.
-pads are missing(i.e. door latch).
-all panels are not in place.
-the lintscreen isloose, damaged or
missing.
•Unplugthe power supplycord orturnoff
electrical power beforeattemptingto
service your dryer. Shut offgas valve if
you have a gas dryer.
•Do notwash or dry itemsthat are soiled
with vegetable or cookingoil.These items
may containsome oilafter laundering.
Due tothe remainingoil,the fabric may
smoke or catchfire by itself.
•Store flammable solventsor fluids away
from yourdryer.
•Dry cleaningsolventsor fluidsshould
never be putdirectlyintoyourdryer.
•Be sure that yourdryer:
-is properlyinstalledand leveled on a
floor that can supportthe weightin a
well-ventilatedroom.*
-is connected tothe properoutletand
electrical supply.*
-is properlyconnectedto fuel and
exhaust systems (gas dryersmust be
vented outdoors).*
-is not installedagainstdraperies or
curtains, or on carpet.*
-is locatedin an area where thetempera-
ture isabove 45°F (7°C).
-is properlymaintained.
- is usedonly forjobs normallyexpected
of home clothesdryers.
- is not used byanyone unable to operate
itproperly.
