Introduction
Thank you for choosing to purchase this quality product. To minimise the risk of injury, we ask you to
always take some basic safety precautions when using this product. Please read this operating manual
carefully and make sure that you understand it.
Keep these operation instructions in a safe place.
Safety instructions
•The ramps have been designed to make it easier for you to load or unload ATVs/quads, motor-
cycles, and lawn mowers. However, they are not meant to carry the weight of a vehicle with the
ramps being opened.
•Only drive a vehicle on the ramps when they are closed.
•Do not exceed the nominal load capacity of the ramps. Used for a vehicle (closed), one ramp
has a maximum load capacity of 800 kg. Used for an ATV/quad (opened), one ramp has a
maximum load capacity of 250 kg.
•Keep your fingers away from the foldable components when opening/closing the ramp. Risk of
injuries!
•The owner and/or user must read, understand, and follow all warnings, precautions, and instruc-
tions before using the product.
•Read, understand, and obey all instructions before operating the device. Do not use the ramps
without reading and understanding all instructions, precautions, and warnings first. Any im-
proper use can lead to material damage and/or personal injury.
•Only use the device on a hard, level surface when loading or unloading.
•Never exceed the maximum load capacity of the back door of your vehicle. Refer to the user’s
manual of your vehicle to find the correct value.
•Keep your extremities (hands, feet, etc.) away from the ramps. Neither reach under the ramps
nor stay under them.
•Every ramp seeming damaged, worn, or inoperable must immediately be put out of operation
until repair. It is recommended that you ask a qualified person to do the repair job.
•If you suppose that the ramps have been exposed to an unusual stress or shock, they must be
put out of operation until visual inspection.
•Do not place tools or other devices under the ramps.
•These ramps can only be used with the flange pointing downwards (see assembly instructions).
Using the ramp in reverse assembly direction with the flange pointing upwards (to guide the
wheels) considerably reduces the maximum load capacity.
•The ramps are designed to rest against the upper edge of the back door or trailer. If the loading
area is not coated, the ramps might scratch the protective paint surface of your vehicle.
•Never exceed the maximum height of 100 cm (40″) if using the ramps opened. Using the ramps
in their opened position at a height exceeding the recommended maximum height can lead to
damages of the charge and/or personal injuries.
•Make sure, before using the ramps, that the lorry or trailer is blocked and that the braked are
applied. Use chocks to block the wheels. In case the lorry or trailer moves forward when loading
or unloading, the ramps might slip off the vehicle, causing the charge to fall.
•Check the bent part of the ramps to make sure that it rests entirely on the rear end of the lorry
or trailer. Only use the ramps on a hard, level surface. Otherwise, a dangerous situation might
arise, provoking damages and/or injuries. Avoid wet slippery surfaces and surfaces with mac-
adam.
•Before charging, fix the ramps opened to the lorry using the safety chains.
•Do not drive the load onto the ramp opened. The load must be guided via the opened ramp by
hand.
•Due to potential risks linked to this type of devices, no modifications can be made to the product.
•Only attachments and/or adaptors supplied by the manufacturer may be used. Non-observance
of these instructions/warnings can lead to damages and/or injuries.
•Make sure that the load stays in the centre of the ramp and only use two ramps to load or unload
a vehicle. Non-observance of these instructions/warnings can lead to damages and/or injuries.
