Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury by means of fire or
electric shock we urge that our clients take some basic safety precautions when using this
device. Please read the operation instructions carefully and make sure you have understood its
content.
Always use a grounded power connection with the appropriate mains voltage. You can find the corre-
sponding mains voltage on the type plate. If you have any doubts about the connection being ground-
ed, have it checked by a qualified professional. Never use a faulty electric cable.
Do not inspect the electrical part of the pressure pond filter in a wet or damp environment or when you
are wet yourself and protect it from direct sunlight. Install this device in a safe location so that nobody
can step on the cable, fall over or damage it. Disconnect the power plug before cleaning it and use
only a damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid using cleaning agents and make sure that no liquid enters the
electrical part of the pump.
The electric part of the device contains no parts that can be inspected or serviced by the user. Leave
the maintenance, adjustment and repair to qualified technical personnel. In case of unauthorised inter-
vention the 2-year warranty is no longer valid! Keep these operation instructions safe.

A: Safety
RISK OF EXPLOSION
Only connect the battery leads when the mains supply is disconnected.
Never use the charger in a confined area without adequate ventilation and air flow.
INDOOR USE ONLY –
Keep away from liquids at all times
•Before removing the battery terminals turn off the device.
•During the loading process explosive gases can be generated, therefore fire, sparking
etc. should be avoided!
•The red battery terminal has to be connected to the positive pole and the black battery termi-
nal to the minus pole –Do not mix them up!
•NEVER use the booster if the charging cables or the battery terminals are damaged! Do not
shake it or push it during loading.
•NEVER try charging a frozen battery!
•Use only the fuses that are available in the booster on delivery –NEVER install greater fuses.
•Clean the battery carefully before loading and check the battery voltage.

C. Battery Charge Operation
Operation conditions and guidelines

Caution
Ensure AC main plug is not connected to the AC main supply

Connection
Attach the red (+) battery clip to the red (+) terminal on the battery
Attach the black (-) battery clip to the black (-) terminal on the bat-
tery
Polarity Check
The polarity check LED illuminates, if the charger/battery connection
is incorrectly EXAMPLE:
the red (+) clip is connected to the black (-) battery terminal
Make sure that the connection is correct and Polarity check LED is
not illuminated

Voltage/Charge select
Select the correct battery voltage and required charging rate

AC Connection
Connect plug to AC main power

Charging
During charging the amber charging LED illuminates

Charged
When charged is completed, the green charged LED illuminates
(12V fast mode only)
Switch off and disconnect the AC main supply
Disconnect the red (+) positive battery clip
Disconnect the black (-) negative battery clip

In addition to the battery types and capacity detailed in the specifications the charger is only suitable
with the following:
-Charging only one a single battery at anytime.
-Charging rechargeable lead acid or gel batteries with 6 cells
-Charging rechargeable lead acid, gel agm or calcium batteries with 6 cells
WARNING: Not suitable for charging non- rechargeable batteries
The supply cord cannot be replaced, if the cord is damaged the charger should be scrapped.
Caution: The charger is not for use by any person (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or medical capabilities or lack of experience of knowledge.
The (CTF1208/CHF1208, CTF1216/CHF1216, CTF3606/CHF3606, CTF4803/CHF4803) are fully
automatic battery chargers.
It automatically adjusts the charge rate applied as the battery charges.
Charging stops when the battery is fully charged.

Disposal regulations
EU guidelines regarding the disposal of scrap electric appliances (WEEE, 2012/19/EU) were imple-
mented in the law related to electrical and electronic equipment and appliances.
All WilTec electric devices that fall under the WEEE regulations are labelled with the crossed-out
wheeled waste bin logo. This logo indicates that this electric equipment must not be disposed with the
domestic waste.
The company WilTec Technik GmbH has been registrated in the German registry EAR under the
WEEE-registration number DE45283704.
Disposal of used electrical and electronic appliances
(intended for use in the countries of the European
Union and other European countries with a separate
collection system for these appliances).
The logo on the article or on its packaging points out
that this article must not be treated as normal house-
hold waste but must be disposed to a recycling collec-
tion point for electronic and electrical waste equip-
ment. By contributing to the correct disposal of this
article you protect the environment and the health of your fellow men. Environment and health are
threatened by inappropriate disposal.
Materials’ recycling helps reduce the consumption of raw materials.
Additional information on recycling this article can be provided by your local community, municipal
