Thank you for choosing to purchase this quality product. To minimise the risk of injury, we ask you to
always take some basic safety precautions when using this product. Please read this operating manual
carefully and make sure that you understand it.
Keep these operation instructions in a safe place.
Safety instructions
•Before use, carefully read all safety and other instructions found in this manual. Non-observance
might lead to injuries or damages.
•During assembly, make sure to firmly tighten the screws to ensure safe use.
•Check the spreader for damages before every single use. Do not use the spreader if it is defec-
tive.
•The spreader is only suitable for private use. It is not suitable for commercial or industrial use.
•Attention! This device may only be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or
mental abilities or a lack of experience or knowledge in case a person familiar with the device
and responsible for their safety has instructed and supervises them.
•Children must not use the device and should be supervised when they are near it to ensure that
they do not play with it.
•Wear appropriate protection equipment, e.g., protective gloves, goggles, and working shoes.
•Keep the parts of your body away from moving parts.
•Only use the spreader if you have a safe and stable working position. Pay particular attention
to safe use on black ice and in wet conditions.
•The spreader is only suitable for fertilisers, seeds, or de-icing salt. Use of other filling materials,
not being in accordance with proper use, is forbidden.
•When spreading fertilisers and de-icing salt, make sure to comply with local prescriptions and
the grit manufacturers’ safety instructions.
•Do not use the spreader near other persons or animals.
•Only use the spreader in walking pace. Never run with the spreader.
•Do not use the spreader in rain or strong wind. Never leave it out in the rain.

Assembly instructions
Note! The tyres of the spreader should be filled with compressed air (1 bar) before assembly.
Step 1
Put the plastic bearing of the axle into the opening of the frame. Then introduce the axle.
Step 2
Put the tyre and its rim onto the axle.

Step 3
Fix the tyre with a screw and nut.
Step 4
Put the opposite part of the tyre onto the axle.
Step 5
Insert a cotter into the outer hole of the axle and bend it to fix the tyre on the axle.

After performing the above steps, the basic frame of the spreader should be as depicted. Now insert the
cross-tie depicted into the frame and screw it to both frame parts.
Step 7
Now mount the handles and additional cross-ties.

Step 8
Pre-mount the handle parts (see fig.) to be able to mount the handles.
Step 9
Screw the handles to the frame. Screw the additional cross-ties to the frame to reinforce the handles.

Fit the hopper.
Step 11
On the points depicted, insert the screws through the hopper. Tighten them to fix the hopper to the
frame. Insert a cotter through the spindle of the drive unit in the middle part of the hopper. This will serve
as a blunger spreading the grit.

The manual pull that one can adjust the opening width with is connected to the left handle with the help
of a screw.

Use of the spreader
•Fill the hopper. However, do not fill it when being on the lawn; inadvertent spillage of the grit
might be harmful to the lawn or other plants.
•Set the spreader in motion and open the feeding clap. The grit is now spread.
•Make sure that the grit is spread evenly. Ensure that the grit is dry.
•Close the feeding clap as soon as you stop the spreader.
•Clean the spreader after every single use. The moving parts in particular require thorough care,
as otherwise the grit cannot be dispensed evenly.
