This machine is for commercial use.
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury:

Connect to a properly grounded outlet.
The machine shall be operated by instructed and authorized persons. When leaving unattended, switch off or lock the main
power switch to prevent unauthorized use.
Do not leave the machine unattended. Unplug machine from outlet when not in use and before maintenance or service. Also
secure against unintentional movement.
Use only indoors. Do not use outdoors or expose to rain.
Do not allow machine to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended components and attachments.
Do not use damaged electrical cord or plug. Follow all instructions in this manual concerning grounding the machine. If the
machine is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to an authorized
service center.
Do not pull or carry machine by electrical cord, use as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or
corners.
Do not run machine over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
Do not unplug the machine by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the electrical plug, not the electrical cord.
Do not handle the electrical plug or machine with wet hands.
Do not operate the machine with any openings blocked. Keep openings free of debris that may reduce airflow.
This machine is intended for cleaning carpet only.
Do not vacuum anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
This machine is not suitable for picking up health endangering dust.
Turn off all controls before unplugging.
Machine can cause a fire when operating near flammable vapors or materials. Do not operate this machine near flammable
fluids, dust or vapors.
This machine is suitable for commercial use, for example in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops and offices
for more than normal housekeeping purposes.
Maintenance and repairs must be done by qualified personnel.
If foam or liquid comes out of machine, switch off immediately.

Maschine nicht mit beschädigtem Kabel oder stecker inbetrienehmen. Arbeitet die Maschine nicht einwandfrei, ist sie
hngefallenm beschädigt, hat sie im Freien gestanden oder ist sie mit Wasser in Berührung gekommen – Konyakt mit einem
autorisierten Wartungsdienst aufnehmen.
Nicht am Kabel ziehen, Kabel nicht als Tragegriff benutzen, nicht in der Türe einklemmen oder über scharfe Ecken und Kanten
ziehen.
Nicht mit der Maschine über das Kabel fahren und Kabel von heißen Flächen fernhalten.
Stecker nicht am Kabel herausziehen, sondern am Stecker.
Maschine und Stecker nicht mit naßen Händen bedienen.
Nicht der Maschine arbeiten wenn irgendeine Lüftung blockiert ist. Lüftunsöffnungen frei von Überresten halten, welche die

The Commodore 20 is a mains powered, portable carpet extractor intended
for commercial use. The appliance sprays a cleaning solution onto the
carpet, agitates the wet carpet, and then extracts the soiled solution back
into the units recovery tank. The appliance can be lifted with an accessory
tool for cleaning upholstery and stairs. INSPECTION
Carefully unpack and inspect your extractor for shipping damage.
Each unit is operated and thoroughly inspected before shipping,
and any damage is the responsibility of the carrier, who should be
notified immediately.
ELECTRICAL
This extractor operates on a standard 230 Volt AC circuit.
Voltages below 220 Volts or above 240 Volts could cause
damage to motors. Wiring diagram is mounted inside control
panel of machine.
EXTENSTION CORDS
If an extension cord is used, the wire size must be at least one
size larger than the power cord on the machine, and must be
limited to 50 feet (15.15m) in length. NOTE: If the power supply
cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by a
special cord.
This appliance is provided with a connector lock which locks
the power supply cord to the machine. To remove the power
supply cord remove the splashguard cover. Then insert a
small screwdriver into the screw on the bottom of the
connector lock to loosen the power supply cord. Gently pull
the power supply cord from the appliance. Place the
splashguard around the new power supply cord and insert
the power cord connector into the appliance inlet. Tighten
the screw on the bottom of the connector into the appliance
inlet. Tighten screw on the bottom of the connector lock.
Fasten the splashguard onto the appliance.

CHEMICALS
Care must be
exercised in the use
of chemicals.
Chemicals are poisonous and can pose a health risk. Read
and follow the manufacturers instructions regarding dangers
and correct usage.
The internal parts of the
pump used in the
extractor are suitable
for use with most carpet cleaning chemicals. But they are
susceptible to chemical attack from some cleaning substances,
such as hydrocarbon solvents and chlorinated bleaches. These
non compatible materials are not of the type used for carpet
cleaning.

INSPECCION
Desempaque cuidadosamente e inspeccione su extractor por
daños de embarque. Cada unidad es operada y totalmente
inspeccionada antes de embracer, y cualquier daño el la

CARACTERISTICAS ELÉCTRICAS

entrada del aparato. Apriete el tornillo que está en el fondo
del cierre del conector. Luego apriete la cubierta contra
salpicaduras en el aparato.

INSPECTION
Déballer et inspecter votre machine soigneusement. Chaque
machine est éssayée et inspectée soigneusement avant d’être
remise au transporteur et c’est pour cela qu’il doit être notifié
immédiatement.
ELECTRICITE
Cette machine est etudiée pour être utilisée sur un courant
normal de 10 amp, 230 Volts, 50hz. Vérifier que le voltage indiqué
sous le numéro de série convient au courant utilisé. Un voltage
inférieur à 220 volts ou supérieur à 240 volts peut endommager le
moteur.

Cet appareil est équiopé d’un connecteur bloquant qui verrouille
le cordon d’alimentation sur la machine. Pour débracher le
cordon, retirer le carter de protection. Enfoncer ensuite un petit
tournevis dans l’empreinte de la vis qui se trouve au bas du
verrou du connecteur pour desserrer le cordon d’alimentation.
Tirer doucement sur celui-ci pour le débracher de l’appareil.
Entourer le cordon d’alimentation neuf avec le carter de protection
et enfoncer son connecteur dans la prise de l’appareil. Serrer la
vis qui se trouve au bas du verrou du connecteur, puis fixer le
carter de protection sur l’appareil.

à la pompe utilisée
dans l’extracteur
sont compatibles avec la plupart des produits chimiques
nettoyants de moquette. Mais elles sont susceptibles à
l’errosion chimque par certaines substances nettoyantes,
tels que les solvants hydro-carbon et les décolorants
chlorés. Ces matériaux incompatibles ne sont pas du style
normal pour l’utilisation pour le nettoyage de moquette.

INSPEKTION
Das Gerät vorsichtig auspacken und auf Transportschäden
untersuchen. Alle Geräte werden vor dem Versand geprüft und
gründlich untersucht, so daß die Transportfirma für jegliche
Schäden zuständig ist und sofort benachrichtigt werden muß.
ELEKTRISCHE ANGABEN
Wird ein Verlängerungskabel benutzt, so muß dessen Kabelgröße
größer als die Kabelgröße des Stromkabels der Maschine sein,
Das Verlängerungskabel darf nicht länger als 15,15 m sein.
VERLÄNGERUNGSSCHNUR
Dieses Gerät enthält eine Anschluásperre, die das Stromkabel in
der Maschine sperrt. Um das Stromkabel zu entnehmen,
entfernen Sie das Schutzschild. Setzen Sie einen kleinen
Schraubenzieher auf die Schraube am unteren Teil der
Anschluásperre, um das Stromkabel zu lösen. Ziehen Sie das
Stromkabel vorsichtig vom Gerät ab. Setzen Sie das Schutzschild
um das neue Stromkabel, und fügen Sie das
Stromkabelverbindungsstück in die Steckdose am Gerät.
Befestigen Sie die Schraube am unteren Teil des
Verbindungsverschlusses, und befestigen Sie zum Schluá das
Schutzchild am Gerät.

Bleichmittel empfindlich. Diese unvertäglichen Stoffe werden
normalerweise bei der Teppichreinigung nicht verwendet.
