ELECTRICAL
This rotary polisher isdesignedto operate on a standard 15
amp, 115 volt, 60 hz, AC householdcurrent. Checkthdthe
voltage shown on the serial number plate issuitablefor the
rwpplyavailable.Voltagesbelow 105 wlts orabove 125 volts
could cause damage to the motor.
NOTE 2W250 vdt 50 hz models are available.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. If it should mal -
functionor break down, groundingprovidesapath of
least resistancefor electric currenttoreduce the risk

the pad, alwoys keep the
machine movingwhen In contact with the
floor.
WARNING:

1. Ensure thatthe paddriver isinstalled correctly andin
goodshape. Install
or change pad if necessary (Sm Pogo
4 for detall of In8tallatlon).
2. Plugthe machineintoa wall outlet as describedinthe
groundinginstructions.
3. Lower the handlebyunlockingtheadjustmenthandle
and moving the handleinto position.
Relock the handle
when itisina comfortableposition.
4 Check to besure the paddriver isinstalledbefore
starting.
5. Withtheswitchlock(s)rotated forward, squeezeone of
theswitchlevers,turning the machineon. (These leverscan
beoperatedindependently of eachother)
6. To stop the machine, release the switch lever and
switch
lock.

MOTOR
The polisher is equippedwith a rectifiedDC permanent
magnetmotor. An externalmountedwarning lightwill
"Light Up " when the carbonmotor brushesbecome
worn andreplacementisrequired.

Usea hook to pullbrushspringsout of the way.

old brushesout of the holder.Installthe new brushes
makingsurethe brushlead does notprevent free
movementof the brushesinthe holder.
CAWION: Makesurethe brushwiththe YELLOW sensor

is installedin the Same holder as the oldbrush.
WHEELS - HANDLE PIVOT BRACKETS
I. Wheels - Removethecenter screw holdingwheel
axleWhen reinstallingwheelsadda small amountof
siliconelubricantto axle.
PivotBrackets - Removewheel axle screw. Remove
(4) socket headscrews holdingbracketto main
frame. repairas needed.

PAD DRIVER PULLEY
I.
Removewheelsevery 2 to 3 months.Clean axle an apply
a small amount of siliconelubricant.Reinstallwheels.
Remove
(4) boltsholdingpulleyto mainframe@
PULLEY BEARINGS
7. Removesnap ringfrom shaft. Use arbor pressor
hammerwith rodandtube
to remove bearings.
Replacebearingsasneeded.
NOTE: /f b.rrfngs are seized in pulley use a propane
torch to apply a sma// amount of heat to bearIng boss.

Installnew padas needed.
BELT

shock replacecords with frayed or cracked insulation

Placemachine inthe storage position.
Check pad condition. Change
if soiled or torn.

Only standard 1/2 inchthick pads suitablefor low
speed burnishingare recommended.

engaged. To remove,turn Counter - clockwise.

warranty onvacuum motors and belts. and a 1year service laborwarranty. Exbactor bnuh
motors.pump motors, pc boards andelectronics, vac motors (other than VERSAMATIC@ and
SENSOR?, pumps, and FLEXS0Lm diaphragms, all RADIUSTM, all AXCESS" and
TITANT any a 1 year partsandservice labor warranty. Propane equipment has a 1 year
partsandservicewarranty. The Onan@ engines havea 3 year manufacturers'warranty. The
Honda@ engineshavea 2 year manufacturn'warranty. The engine warranty is administered
through the engine manufacturerand mustbe repairedat an authorizedservice center.

casters, clutches, cords, filters, finishes, gaskets, hoses, lightbulbs, rectifiers, switches,

90 days from the purchasedate.
Thewarranty commenceson the purchasedate bytheoriginalend user from an authorized

identified,the warranty start date is
